Forecasts predict no economic improvement in 2011 The only thing dropping faster than President Obama’s poll numbers is America’s economic future. Only one in five believe the country is headed in the right direction, according to a Rasmussen Reports survey released Thursday. More than half of those responding to Gallup’s queries believe we are either in a recession or depression. The grim mood reflects growing disenchantment with administration policies that have sucked the life out of the economy. Reports piled up yesterday casting further doubt on the prospects for recovery. Just as many people stood in line last week to...

White House senior advisor Valerie Jarrett said President Obama will not release his academic records, commenting a day after Obama put out his “long form” birth certificate and Donald Trump decided to press his luck by demanding Obama’s college transcripts. “We know this is nonsense,” Jarrett said in an interview on The Joe Madison Show on SiriusXM on Thursday morning.”He is almost 50 years old. And he is president of the United States and I don’t think anybody will debate his intelligence and so now we do need to get serious…let’s just get serious…get back to focusing on what’s important.
  • Anyone Suspicious That A 1960/61 Standard Typewriter May Have Been Used For The Birth Certificate?

There are so many ways to produce a birth certificate thanks to our printing technology. We all have our theories regarding how the fake birth certificates are printed. To produce a 1961 birth certificate from Hawaii isn't too complicated. Either make a new one with a working antique typewriter,or just take anyones birth certificate from that hospital in 1961,make a copy of it,then put it through the photo-shop process, rearrange the letters, and WALLA !!! A Fake Obama Birth Certificate!!! And yet Obama thinks the whole B.C. issue is just so freekin' silly.

Today on the view, Whoopi Goldberg criticized the “birther” conspiracy theory (and Donald Trump continually bringing it up) as racist: “I’m getting tired to trying not to find things slightly racist. It is very difficult, on a daily basis, to see this stuff and not say, you know, this is what it is. I have been raised to think, ‘Well, maybe that’s not what they mean. Let me figure it out.’ But, being black, when you say, ‘Y’know, this is racist,’ 9,000 people say, ‘Oh, you’re just playing the race card.’ Well, you know, I’m playing the damn card now.”

  • WHY IS BARACK OBAMA SO UN-AMERICAN?

THERE’S MORE TO IT THAN A SIMPLE BIRTH CERTIFICATE It’s a simple question. Why does Barack Obama appear to be so un-American to so many Americans? First of all, let’s not confuse “un-American” with anti-American here. Barack Obama is generally the former rather than the latter. Heightened interest in Donald Trump’s obsession with Obama’s non-birth certificate, and Jerome Corsi’s coming book, “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” is in large part, driven by a desire to understand why this president behaves the way he does. It’s simply part of the attempt to solve the elusive puzzle that is Barack Obama. Continuing questions...

President Obama has authorized the use of aerial drone strikes in Libya to aid rebels fighting to oust dictator Col. Moammar Gadhafi, Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced Thursday. Gates stressed that even though the United States will begin using the armed Predator drones in Libya, American soldiers will not be deployed to the country. He said the Libyan people will have to remove Gadhafi themselves, though the U.S. "can provide them with some cover from the air." The announcement falls in line with the Obama administration's pledge to not put American boots on the ground to remove Gadhafi from power....

This background article is part of a series on the Obama home at 5046 S. Greenwood establishing that three individuals other than Obama are listed in public records as owners and taxpayers on the property. The account of Obama's purchase of the home and property at 5046 S. Greenwood Ave. is drawn from Jerome R. Corsi's book "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality.". In the 2008 presidential campaign, now-convicted felon Tony Rezko's role in helping Barack and Michelle Obama purchase their dream home at 5046 S. Greenwood Ave. in Chicago's Hyde Park area created a scandal...

Key U.S. Supreme Court justices signaled Tuesday they are inclined to give deference to the Environmental Protection Agency rather than the courts on the issue of major power companies' greenhouse-gas emissions. The justices' comments indicate a major climate-change case, American Electric Power Co. v. Connecticut, will be dismissed by the high court. "Congress set up the EPA to promulgate standards for emissions, and the relief you're seeking seems to me to set up a district judge, who does not have the resources, the expertise, as a kind of super EPA," Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said Tuesday. The Supreme Court heard...

President Obama leads Donald Trump by 15 percentage points in a hypothetical 2012 match-up, but the president is unable to top the 50% level of support even against an opponent some are deriding as a joke. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that the president earns support from 49% of Likely Voters nationwide, while Trump attracts the vote from 34%. Given that choice, 12% would vote for some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.) Only 65% of Republican voters would vote for Trump over Obama. Among voters not affiliated...

From time to time until November 2012, I’ll be offering a snapshot of the emerging presidential race. This is the first. Here’s the headline: Given current national trends and a credible Republican nominee, the presidential election would be very, very close, and President Obama might even lose. The economic situation looks like it will not be good enough for the president to cruise to victory, yet it will not so bad that voters are in the mood to repudiate him. In such a situation, campaign tactics, branding, and the identity of the Republican nominee would likely determine the outcome of...

Big Government deficit spending undermines U.S. competitiveness President Obama warns Republican policies will turn America into a Third World country. Look who’s talking. On a campaign fundraising trip to Chicago, Mr. Obama quipped that under the proposed Republican budget plan, “we would be a nation of potholes, and our airports would be worse than places that we thought - that we used to call the Third World, but who are now investing in infrastructure.” He failed to elaborate on which developing countries he thinks should be models for the United States, but his policies have secured America’s status as part...

  • Libyan stalemate is bad news for Samantha Power, Obama key advisor

The continued stalemate in Libya is not good news for Samantha Power widely seen as one of the architects of the Libyan intervention. Power, who works with the National Security Council, has been touted as the next secretary of State if Obama is re-elected but if Libya continues to be a stalemate it will not help her case... But the original script went wrong from there with rebels advancing, then retreating like a bad Charlie Chaplin scene before the current stalemate. Stalemate is not good in that corner of the world, and a leaderless state, like Somalia can soon become...

TEHRAN (FNA)- Former Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki sees dim hopes for Barack Obama to win the next presidential election in the US, given the weak performance he and his administration have shown during his first term in office. "There would be no chance for Obama (to win) if elections were held today," Mottaki said on the sidelines of a press conference here in Tehran on Monday. He added that based on results of the latest opinion polls, Obama enjoys the lowest public approval compared with other US presidents. "He is entangled with the same problem that (former US President...
  • Budget tricks helped Obama save programs from cuts (spending cuts exaggerated)

    04/12/2011 8:04:55 AM PDT · by quesney · 62 replies
WASHINGTON – The historic $38 billion in budget cuts resulting from at-times hostile bargaining between Congress and the Obama White House were accomplished in large part by pruning money left over from previous years, using accounting sleight of hand and going after programs President Barack Obama had targeted anyway. Such moves permitted Obama to save favorite programs — Pell grants for poor college students, health research and "Race to the Top" aid for public schools, among others — from Republican knives, according to new details of the legislation released Tuesday morning. And big holes in foreign aid and Environmental Protection...
