NAUGATUCK — A 30-year-old father is fighting for his life after being run over by a sport utility vehicle Tuesday in what police are calling a road rage incident. Anthony "T.J." Parente, a Naugatuck native who lives in Ansonia, was in a medically induced coma and listed in critical condition at Waterbury Hospital on Wednesday, a day after a Jeep Grand Cherokee ran over his chest as he lay on the side of the road, police said.
