Over 200 US legislators will gather in the Dáil chamber this afternoon, alongside Irish politicians, for a meeting of the Ireland-United States Parliamentary Friendship group. Members of the US Senate and House of Representatives will be among those in attendance, as well as other legislators from across the United States. It is expected that matters such as economic relations between Ireland and the US will be discussed, with Minister for Finance Michael McGrath also due to address the delegation.
