BREAKING: GUN USED IN GARLAND, TEXAS ISLAMIC TERRORIST ATTACK BOUGHT UNDER OBAMA’S ‘FAST AND FURIOUS’ You can thank Eric Holder for this. Remember Fast and Furious was a gun running program under Obama and Eric Holder. Hundreds of people have been murdered with these guns. Just another total screwup and coverup from the Obama regime. Five years before he was shot to death in the failed terrorist attack in Garland, Texas, Nadir Soofi walked into a suburban Phoenix gun shop to buy a 9-millimeter pistol. At the time, Lone Wolf Trading Co. was known among gun smugglers for selling illegal...

The Blaze reports that former CIA head Michael Morell said today he “wouldn’t be surprised” if there’s a terrorist attack in the United States over the upcoming Fourth of July weekend. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin Friday warning of heightened concerns over potential terrorist attacks during the holiday weekend. ABC News reported that the bulletin said Independence Day could appear to extremists to defame the Prophet Muhammad and would “likely result in threats or plans to conduct violent extremist acts.” The bulletin also warned government and military officials to be cautious of their social media...

FBI files confirm what we feared in 2008 — that the president and his closest advisor come from a long line of Communists. Not liberals or socialists, but Reds. And now we've all inherited their socialized medicine. FBI papers obtained by government watchdog Judicial Watch document hard-core communism in the family of Valerie Jarrett, President Obama's most trusted and influential White House advisor. Here's what they reveal about her Chicago kin, who were known as "concealed Communists": Her late father, James E. Bowman, was involved with Communist front groups and was in contact with a paid Soviet agent in the...

A would be carjacker was stopped by an armed citizen in Atlanta and held at gunpoint until police arrived. Edgar Horn, 61, allegedly slipped into the passenger's seat of his car as he pulled into a Family Dollar on Marietta Boulevard. "You know what this is," Horn allegedly told Fannin. That's when Fannin pulled out his gun and told Horn to get out of his car. Apparently Horn thought he could just leave, but Fannin wasn't having any of that.

Two gunmen were killed and a security guard wounded in an attack outside a controversial Dallas-area event Sunday evening where organizers were holding a contest for cartoons featuring the Muslim prophet Muhammad, police said. The shooting in Garland, a Texas suburb about 20 miles from Dallas, was preceded by messages from two social media accounts that supported extremist Islamic viewpoints. One tweet, sent at 6:35 p.m., used the hashtag "#texasattack." The user wrote, “May Allah accept us as mujahideen.” Attendees inside the conference didn’t get word about the shooting until 6:50 p.m. -snip- Two social media accounts tweeted messages about...

WASHINGTON (AP) - The computer server that transmitted and received Hillary Rodham Clinton's emails - on a private account she used exclusively for official business when she was secretary of state - traced back to an Internet service registered to her family's home in Chappaqua, New York, according to Internet records reviewed by The Associated Press. The highly unusual practice of a Cabinet-level official physically running her own email would have given Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate, impressive control over limiting access to her message archives. It also would distinguish Clinton's secretive email practices as far more sophisticated than...

Morgan said she is not worried about anyone coming after her, because she packs heat. In the five months since Jan Morgan banned Muslims from her gun range in Hot Springs, Ark., business has boomed and predictions of a lawsuit brought by federal civil rights enforcers have so far proved inaccurate. Morgan, who claims keeping Muslims out of her Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range is a matter of public safety and not a constitutional issue, says she made the decision in September after two customers she deemed suspicious visited. She said their furtive behavior and cellphone ringtones of “Allahu Akhbar”...

Two cops and 10 journalists were killed Wednesday when terrorists armed with guns and a rocket launcher stormed the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine famous for making fun of the Muslim Prophet Mohammed and Islamic leaders. The three shooters are still on the loose after they fled from the newsroom in Paris' 11th administrative district, about five miles from the Eiffel Tower.

Oliver Friedfeld, a senior at Georgetown University (GU) and his roommate were recently mugged at gun point -- but Frieldfeld says he deserved it because of his "privilege." In an oped for the GU newspaper, The Hoya, Friedfeld wrote that he "can hardly blame" the assailants for robbing him. He argued that income inequality is to blame for the incident. "Who am I to stand from my perch of privilege, surrounded by million-dollar homes and paying for a $60,000 education, to condemn these young men as ‘thugs?’ It’s precisely this kind of ‘otherization’ that fuels the problem," Friedfeld wrote.

A grand jury has reached a decision about whether to indict a Ferguson police officer in the shooting death of Michael Brown, a lawyer for Brown’s family said today. The panel has been considering charges against Darren Wilson, the white suburban St. Louis officer who fatally shot the black 18-year-old after a confrontation in August. The St. Louis County prosecutor’s office has told the family the decision will be announced after 5 p.m., attorney Benjamin Crump told The Associated Press. Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon was traveling to St. Louis from the Capitol this afternoon, spokesman Scott Holste told the AP,...

I read this account of Kaci Hickox, a nurse for Doctors without Borders who returned from West Africa and was placed in quarantine as a result of the new policy adopted by New Jersey, with a growing sense of outrage and disgust. She says there’s “disorganization†and “fear.†She says people treated her “like a criminal.†She says she worries that other health workers returning from Africa will also be put upon. The fact that all four cases of Ebola in America are directly connected to returning health care workers from Africa doesn’t seem to penetrate; that the routine screening done...

The criminal who shot multiple California sheriff’s deputies on Friday, killing two, originally told authorities that he was Marcelo Marquez of Salt Lake City. Fingerprint analysis has since revealed that his actual name is Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte, and he already has a lengthy history with ICE. A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman said that the fingerprints of the suspected shooter match those of a man named Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte. Monroy-Bracamonte was initially deported to Mexico in 1997 after being convicted of dug possession in Arizona. Four years later, he was arrested and deported again for an unspecified offense....

Isis fighters are reportedly just one mile away from Baghdad as reports emerge of al-Qaeda militants bolstering their ranks in Syria. According to the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East, Isis was approaching the Iraqi capital on Monday morning, report The Independent. "The Islamic State are now less than 2km away from entering Baghdad," a spokesperson said. "They said it could never happen and now it almost has. Obama says he overestimated what the Iraqi Army could do. Well you only need to be here a very short while to know they can do very very little."...

Breaking– The Chris McDaniel campaign identified multiple Mississippi counties in which enough improper ballots were cast that a legal challenge to the outcome of the election is warranted. This comes after 25,000-35,000 Democrat votes helped push Thad Cochran to victory over Chris McDaniel (by 6,880 votes) in the June 24 runoff. The McDaniel campaign has already found 1,000 examples in one county of Democrats who voted in the June 3rd primary as Democrats and then crossed over into the Republican primary this week. This is illegal and their votes should not be counted.Update—–Lindsay Krout, a volunteer working in Mississippi, was barred from reviewing...

Former first child (now with child) Chelsea Clinton had a $600,000 annual contract at NBC News, Politico reports, where she served as a "special correspondent" and was deemed to be mostly useless, if not "one of the most boring people of her era." That deal is over now, but Clinton is still being paid by the network (which has also hired Luke Russert, Meghan McCain, and Jenna Bush ... ) on a month-to-month basis, with complicating factors including her pregnancy and the good odds her mother is running for president. -snip- That work included little of note, either journalistically or...

The Hempstead school board won't renew the contract of a principal who instructed her students not to speak Spanish, in a rapidly-evolving district where more than half of the students, like many Texas schools, are now Hispanic. Hempstead Middle School Principal Amy Lacey was placed on paid administrative leave in December after reportedly announcing, via intercom, that students were not to speak Spanish on the school's campus. The Hispanic population of the rural area, roughly 50 miles northwest of Houston, is growing quickly, and Latino advocates say that it's important to allow Spanish in public schools.

Comedian David Brenner passed away Saturday, a spokesman for his family said. He was 78. Jeff Abraham, who was Brenner’s publicist, said the “Tonight Show” favorite died Saturday afternoon at his home in New York City. The gangly, toothy Brenner made more than 150 appearances as a guest and substitute host on Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show,” starting in the 1970s. The exposure turned the former documentary filmmaker into a hot comedian. Brenner was a regular on other TV talk shows and game shows and starred in four HBO comedy specials. He also briefly hosted his own syndicated talk show in...

The U.S. Commerce Department is relinquishing its hold over the group that manages the Internet’s architecture amid pressure to globalize its functions in the wake of reports about NSA surveillance. The National Telecommunications & Information Administration, a Commerce Department agency, said Friday it is transitioning the function to the “global Internet community.” The decision marks a dramatic change. Since the Internet’s inception, the United States has played a leading role in the management of critical back-end Web work, including management of .com and other domain names. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has performed those functions under...
