Sen. John McCain, Arizona senator – and a Republican In Name Only to tea-party types – is going to face an election year challenge from Kelli Ward, a 46-year-old doctor and second-term Arizona state senator. Hundreds of supporters packed into a Lake Havasu City banquet room to hear her official announcement: “I, Dr. Kelli Ward, a proud mom, a physician, a military wife and yes, I am running for the United States Senate,” Breitbart reported. McCain has been serving in Washington, D.C., since 1983. He faces a re-election battle in 2016.

Here’s what I’ve got.(see graphic) Each blue state you see there has been blue in every presidential election since 1992, with the sole exception of New Mexico — which has been blue in every election since 1992 except for 2004.
