Bright pink seesaws were placed between the U.S.-Mexico border wall in New Mexico Monday so that children from Mexico and the U.S. could play with each other. Two California professors, Ronald Rael and Virginia San Fratello, came up with the idea to develop a “Teetertotter Wall” between the border in 2009, according to Rael’s Instagram. The idea was meant to allow people to interact despite being separated by a wall. Rael shared the installation on Instagram Monday, stating that “the wall became a literal fulcrum for U.S. – Mexico relations.” The “Teetertotter Wall” is located between Sunland Park, New Mexico...

All three were aligned with Steve Bannon. Michael Warren of the Weekly Standard discusses the purge here. Glenn Thrush and Peter Baker of the New York Times discuss it here. Neither the Standard nor the Times reports on any ideological content to purge. Both treat it as a power struggle between McMaster and Steve Bannon, with the Times throwing in a Michael Flynn...

  • 'Welcome home' parade in honor of Bowe Bergdahl is CANCELED... it a 'monstrous profanity'

    06/04/2014 7:48:01 PM PDT · by dead · 37 replies
A public welcome home celebration featuring Grammy-winning singer Carole King in honor of freed POW Bowe Bergdahl in the tiny town of Hailey, Idaho was abruptly cancelled today. The official reason given was a concern for public safety, but MailOnline has learned that it was not the only reason the party was scrubbed. Today's decision follows a row that erupted in Hailey between Mayor Fritz Haemmerle and US Army Platoon Commander Jonathan Kennedy, who lives in Hailey. And Kennedy wasn't the only towns person who voiced disapproval of a celebration for the soldier under fire. Mayor Haemmerle wanted to throw...
