American and European foreign policy "elites" (globalists) are perpetually outraged and shocked at President Donald Trump’s attitude towards NATO. By suggesting that NATO doesn't have to go on forever, our nation's 47th commander in chief is shaking the status quo foreign policy establishment to its core. Any analysis of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (founded on April 4, 1949) should rightfully commence from the perspective of "What have you done for me lately?" So NATO, "What have you done for the United States, now and in years and decades past?" For the most part, we've witnessed nations less friendly to...

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he would briefly pause an operation to help escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz, citing progress toward a comprehensive agreement with Iran."We have mutually agreed that, while the Blockade will remain in full force and effect, Project Freedom ... will be paused for a short period of time to see whether or not the Agreement can be finalized and signed," Trump wrote on social media.

In the more pearl-clutching over the SCOTUS Callais decision category, here's the latest lightning bolt to hit legacy media: Black voters, particularly younger Blacks, are leaning toward the GOP. Welcome to the party, pals. And break out the smelling salts for those who have fallen out, proclaiming it simply cannot be. Right-of-center media, and particularly our contributors here at RedState, have been documenting this shift for years. Its apex was realized in the election of Donald Trump in 2024, with Black support at record highs. As RedState reported in 2024: The wildcard in this election was the Black vote. Trump...

The Trump administration is cracking down hard on radical gender policies in public schools. The Department of Justice has launched full investigations into 36 Illinois school districts accused of helping children “change genders” without telling their parents and pushing sexual orientation and gender ideology without proper opt-out notifications. While blue-state bureaucrats treat families as obstacles, the DOJ is stepping in to enforce basic accountability and Supreme Court precedent. The review is also looking at whether the district’s violated parents right to opt their child out of lessons on gender and s*xuality.”🚨 BREAKING: The Trump administration launches investigations into DOZENS of Illinois...

The wife of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who is known for her alleged anti-Israeli views, randomly bumped into Miss Israel inside a cafe. Rama Duwaji, 28, and beauty queen Melanie Shiraz, 27, had a brief encounter on Sunday in the city that Shiraz claimed was a short but tense meeting. In a post to her Instagram page, Shiraz shared a selfie of the two alongside a clip of her talking, describing the chance meeting. She said: 'So guess who sat next to me at a cafe in New York, none other than Zohran Mamdani’s wife Rama Duwaji. 'The...

Former Bill Clinton pollster Mark Penn appeared on FOX News this week and suggested that the Democrat party has moved too far to the left for voters, citing polls that show them less favorable than Republicans despite the fact that we are headed into midterm season. Penn correctly points out that people like Graham Planer, AOC and Zohran Mamdani get all of the attention from the media, which drives Democrat interest in the radical base of their party. He seems to have real questions about how ell Democrats could do this fall. Transcript via Real Clear Politics: MACCALLUM: Quick response...

The Justice Department's top civil rights lawyer believes the Trump administration's lawsuit this week against the city of Denver's gun ban will one day soon lead to a Supreme Court decision legalizing the AR-15 semiautomatic rifle – revered by gun owners and reviled by liberals – in every jurisdiction in America. "We intend to make sure they do that," Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said in an interview set to be aired Wednesday night on the Just the News, No Noise television show. Dhillon spoke just hours after her office filed a lawsuit against the city of Denver over its...

Over the weekend, we saw Secretary of State Marco Rubio getting down in the DJ booth at a family wedding in Florida. At some point in the next 24 hours, he's going to hop on a plane to go have a nice little diplomatic chat with the pope and top Italian government officials. On Tuesday afternoon, he took a few moments out of his busy schedule to stop by the White House to fill in for Karolina Leavitt, who is currently on maternity leave. The result? A masterclass in foreign policy. As I write this, "Rubio 2028" is trending on...

Ever since the Never Trumpers left the Republican Party and rushed into the arms, politically and financially, of the Democrats, it's been pretty clear that all the "conserving conservatism" talk was a smokescreen. They wanted to run the Republican Party, and when they were rebuffed, they exited to grift off the Democrats. I wrote about Jeb!'s former communications director now embracing Hasan Piker and Nick Fuentes because he wants to preserve "democracy" against Donald Trump, and we all know that David French, who ran into the arms of The New York Times, argued that the best way to fight abortions...

The 2024 presidential hopeful with close Trump ties advances to the general election, NBC News projects, to face Democrat Amy Acton, who led the state’s Covid response. Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy has won Ohio’s Republican primary for governor, NBC News projects, advancing to what could be an expensive and competitive general election in a state that has been brutal for Democrats in recent elections. Amy Acton, a former state health director, won the Democratic nomination Tuesday without opposition. Ramaswamy, 40, defeated Casey Putsch, a political novice known for his “car guy” videos on YouTube. Putsch’s campaign played out largely through social...

Any attempt by Alberta to separate from the rest of Canada must follow the strict rules set out by the Clarity Act, Prime Minister Mark Carney said Tuesday, while making the case that he can stop the secessionist push by demonstrating that the federation works. On Monday, the leaders of Alberta’s separatist movement said they had gathered enough signatures to force a vote on whether the province should split with Canada in a referendum scheduled for Oct. 19. The campaign could still be derailed by a legal challenge and an Elections Alberta investigation, but its leaders insist it has the...

By the time doctors detect pancreatic cancer, it’s often too late to treat effectively. But a new study suggests that artificial intelligence might be able to find signs of the disease before tumors are visible on a scan. An AI model developed at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, detected abnormalities on patients’ CT scans up to three years before they were diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, according to research published this week in the journal Gut. The scientists behind the model, which is now being evaluated in a clinical trial, trained it by feeding it CT scans from patients who...

A new study by Texas A&M University scientists offers fresh clues to a long-standing puzzle: why people who drink coffee tend to live longer and develop fewer chronic diseases. Their results suggest brewed coffee contains compounds that interact with a little-understood protein in the body, potentially influencing inflammation, aging and cancer-related processes. Hailemariam et al. demonstrate that brewed coffee and its major polyphenolics and polyhydroxy constituents are NR4A1 ligands and that NR4A1 may play an important role in the health-protective effects of coffee. A team of astronomers in Japan has detected a thin atmosphere around (612533) 2002 XV93, a trans-Neptunian object about 500 km in diameter — an object far too small and cold to retain one. An artist’s conception of the trans-Neptunian object 2002 XV93. Image credit: NAOJ. “In the cold reaches of the outer Solar System lie thousands of small objects known as trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs) because they lie outside the orbit of Neptune,” said Dr. Ko Arimatsu from Ishigakijima Astronomical Observatory and colleagues. “A thin atmosphere has been observed around Pluto, the most famous TNO, but studies of other TNOs...

A generational and structural shift is decoupling Black identity from Democratic Party loyalty, transforming a once-reliable voting bloc into a cohort of "political free agents" that the GOP is uniquely positioned to exploit.

Usually, having an armed officer at school sort of helps deter the whole school shooting thing. I'm not sure if that's the case here. They still haven't found the gun! Here's what happened. This happened just before school let out on Monday, so at least there wasn't much left of the day (I guess?). The police are calling this "unfortunate and embarrassing," but that's not even the half of it. It's a lost gun on school property. More from that story above: Authorities say hallway surveillance images indicate that a limited number of people entered the restroom, but authorities have...
