Jeannine Pirro, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, on Monday threatened jail time for anyone who enters the capital with a gun. In remarks on Fox News that could deepen a growing rift between gun owners and the Trump administration, Ms. Pirro declared that if anyone brings “a gun into the District, you mark my words, you’re going to jail. I don’t care if you have a license in another district and I don’t care if you’re a law-abiding gun owner somewhere else.” Her remarks prompted swift pushback from the Republican Party’s pro-Second Amendment wing, which was thrown...

Last week's FBI raid on a Georgia warehouse yielded approximately 700 boxes of ballots and other related materials from the 2020 election and was focused on finding evidence of possible fraud under statutes governing the conduct of election workers in the state's largest metropolitan area. The search warrant for the Fulton County election hub near Atlanta was signed by a federal magistrate and specifically cited Title 52 of the U.S. Code, Sections 20511 and 20701, according to sources in Georgia who have seen the still-sealed warrant. Those statutes govern the conduct of election workers when it comes to preserving records...

Two new justices will join the Utah Supreme Court after the Legislature, bitter from repeated legal defeats, passed a bill to expand the state’s high court from five to seven members. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, who will nominate the two new justices, quickly signed the bill into law, his office announced Saturday. After filling the new seats, Cox will have appointed five of the seven justices. “I would err on the side that seven sets of eyes reviewing the most complex and difficult issues our state has ever faced is better than having only five sets of eyes,” said House...

We are solving more homicide cases than we ever have in the district!" "And the mayor now is seeing what this combined resource allocation is doing." "We've got all kinds of benefits with technology and new databases and plugging in all kinds of tracking that she didn't have before." "And, you know,...

The Grammy Awards took place last night, and — just like last year — it was less a show about music than it was an anti-ICE political demonstration. Several performers wore "ICE Out" pins, similar to those on display at the Golden Globes last month, including Billie Eilish. Eillish also called America "stolen land" and said no one is illegal. Eillish has not given up her stolen land, which was once occupied by members of the Tongva tribe. It would be hilarious if one of them sued Eillish for her property, just to see what she says. ... Bad Bunny,...

A former Atlanta Housing Authority executive pleaded guilty Monday in a federal court to collecting more than $300,000 in federal housing and pandemic funds. Channel 2 Investigative Reporter Ashli Lincoln was in the courtroom as former senior vice president Tracy Jones pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit theft of government funds, wire fraud and credit application fraud. She could face more than 20 years in prison. Jones spoke softly, answering mostly yes-or-no questions. In the end, she told the judge she agreed with the facts laid out in a 16-page plea agreement and told the court she was guilty of...

Why white liberal millennials like Renee Good and Alex Pretti are the most demoralized and dangerous demographic in AmericaMillennial baizuos (Chinese term for white left) are growing old without growing wise. Their suicidal empathy is devolving into homicidal spite. They are the most demoralized and dangerous demographic in America that is radicalizing further during their midlife crisis. Renee Good and Alex Pretti were both 37 years old when they died. They put their bodies on the line for the Minneapolis theater kid communist insurrection. Walz, Frey, Ellison, Omar, BlueSky, and Signal group chats whipped them up with virtue signaling bukkake....

Notes In Absentia I want again to thank everyone for the wonderful expressions of concern and reassurance that I have received from listeners and readers. In response to inquiries, and some quite detailed questions and advice, here is a brief update concerning my current temporary absence. As I wrote, the removal of a cancerous lung mucinous adenoma carcinoma along with the lower right lung lobe roughly a month ago was successful. But a post-op aneurism/bleed soon developed. That required a quick second reentry operation into the lung to stop the hemorrhaging—adding considerable time under anesthesia and requiring about five blood...

President Donald Trump has kicked off $12 billion project to stockpile critical minerals used by the defense and technology sectors as a hedge against Chinese dominance of the strategically important industry in what the White House will call “Project Vault.” The public-private effort — first reported by Bloomberg — would use $1.67 billion in private seed funds and combine that cash with another $10 billion from the U.S. government’s Export-Import Bank for the purchase and storage of critical minerals and rare earths such as gallium and cobalt, a key ingredient in rechargeable batteries as well as modern jet engines used...

Organizations including the Chinese-American Planning Council and the Chinese Progressive Association — both of which have ties to the Chinese Communist Party’s overseas influence network — are among the signatories urging Congress to defund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Border Patrol. Those groups joined more than 1,000 organizations in a coordinated letter demanding that lawmakers halt all funding for federal immigration enforcement agencies, a move that would effectively eliminate interior enforcement and deportation operations nationwide. The letter, organized by Amnesty International USA, does not call for reforms or oversight but for the removal of enforcement capacity itself.

n less than a month, two “ICE watchers” have been shot and killed by immigration enforcement agents in Minneapolis. On January 24, a federal agent shot and killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti, a Veterans Affairs ICU nurse. His death follows that of Renée Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, who was killed on January 7. Both Pretti and Good participated in “ICE watching,” an anti-immigration-enforcement tactic that can involve tracking ICE agents, filming arrests, and alerting other activists of enforcement actions. While participants frame ICE watching as a “community safety” measure, these tactics often place untrained civilians in direct, high-stakes confrontation...

Joe Scarborough went on one of his patented rants on Monday's Morning Joe. All that was missing were a few choice obscenities—an increasingly common part of Joe's shtick. The object of Scarborough's ire was video of an ICE action he described as taking place in Minneapolis [actually in St. Peter, about 70 miles to the south—close enough for liberal-media work]. An ICE vehicle is shown driving in front of another vehicle, forcing it to stop. Agents jump out, weapons drawn. Predictably, Scarborough slammed the agents as "thugs" and "idiots." He demanded that any agent drawing his weapon when getting out...

What they thought was their progressive hero has turned out to be another lying politician—and now they want answers at his doorstep. In this video, we expose the explosive home invasion and why Mamdani's own supporters have turned against him. 🚨 Topics covered:...

Florida stands at a consequential moment in the national debate over illegal immigration. The state has already moved decisively to protect taxpayers, reinforce the rule of law, and support federal agents. What comes next should be durable, voter-approved, and immune to the shifting moods of Washington. A Florida-tailored constitutional amendment modeled on the core framework of California’s Proposition 187 represents the logical next step, not as nostalgia, but as evolution. Properly adapted to Florida’s legal system and adopted through the state’s referendum process, such a measure would anchor immigration control in constitutional certainty. Simultaneously, public confidence would be bolstered, after...

Outgoing Sen. Tina Smith (D‑MN), who has been serving since her 2018 appointment, threw her support behind Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan (D‑MN) to succeed her in the Senate, an early endorsement that bypasses Rep. Angie Craig, who enters the race with deep fundraising resources and several key endorsements. “I have never been more proud to serve Minnesota than in this moment,” Smith said in a video posted on X. “Today, 3,000 federal agents are terrorizing our communities. Two Minnesotans, Alex and Renee, have been killed at the hands of federal agents. Families have been ripped apart, and people have been...
