GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police have identified the officers who were shot at a hotel near Stone Mountain.
The shooting happened around 7:30 a.m. Sunday inside a room at Holiday Inn Express on Parke Plaza Circle and East Park Place.
Police Officer Senior Pradeep Tamang, 25, died at the hospital. A second officer, Master Police Officer David Reed, is in serious condition, but stable.

I remember back in the early 80s visiting relatives in Gwinnett County and it seemed like a pretty nice area. Seems like it has gone way downhill.

Naw, that sort of thing doesn’t happen often. The demographics of Gwinnett County still favor civilization.
That’s because the Diversity Crowd moved out from the core of Atlanta. When Gwinnett County residents voted down the proposal to let the MARTA train and buses into their county, it was to keep crime from spreading there.
Many of the DC were not in Cobb County back in the 1980s, but slowly worked their way into the southern part. As a result things have gone downhill there, too.

I’ve lived in Gwinnett for 38 years and it used to be a great place. Now its turning into a chit hole. Crime is rampant and its illegal alien central. At the grocery store you feel like a stranger in a strange land.
As soon as Mr. GG2 recovers from his recent shoulder surgery we are moving to our rural property 67 miles North.
The alleged murderer was in a wheelchair.
