(DCNF)—A Hennepin County, Minnesota, judge set aside a jury’s guilty verdict in a $7.2 million Medicaid fraud case Monday, leaving jurors shocked. Hennepin County Judge Sarah West ruled that the jury erred when it found Abdifatah Yusuf guilty on fraud and racketeering charges, KARE 11 reported. Stunned jurors told the Minneapolis-area TV station they didn’t have much difficulty during deliberations. ADVERTISEMENT “It was not a difficult decision whatsoever. The deliberation took probably four hours at most. Based off of the state’s evidence that was presented, it was beyond a reasonable doubt,” Ben Walfoort, the jury’s foreman, said.

At least three times a week — and sometimes more — a big story will come out of New York about an awful crime that was committed against an innocent by a criminal who, too often, shouldn't have been walking the streets anyway due to a rap sheet as long as a CVS receipt. Even just scrolling down the front page of RedState, you can see this story published on Monday that reported that someone stabbed someone else on the New York subway because a person asked them not to talk on their cell phone so loudly. Charming city. And...

Some of the demonstrators waved signs with the orange and white Home Dept logo reading “ICE out of The Home Depot,” “No Secret Police,” and “No to ICE,” according to video posted on Reddit....

Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is under serious pressure. A wave of protests over corruption in flood control projects has piled pressure on his government. Cabinet ministers have resigned. And further rallies, which the Catholic Church is throwing its weight behind, are planned for Nov. 30. The turmoil has sparked speculation about Marcos being unseated via impeachment or coup. For now, this possibility probably shouldn’t be taken too seriously. The military and leading politicians have denied considering such options. And there is barely a modern Filipino president who hasn’t at some time or other been subject to such rumors...
