Eli Lilly on Tuesday announced a $5 billion investment in a manufacturing facility in Virginia as the pharmaceutical giant looks to expand its domestic production capacity amid the threat of tariffs. The manufacturing facility is expected to generate 650 high-wage jobs and 1,800 construction jobs at the West Creek Business Park in Goochland County, Virginia. The facility will produce active pharmaceutical ingredients for cancer, autoimmune and other advanced therapies. Eli Lilly's announcement represents an expansion beyond the original plan for a $2.1 billion facility that would've created 468 jobs. Earlier this year, Eli Lilly outlined plans to spend at least...

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell declined Wednesday to comment on the ongoing legal battle between Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook and the Trump administration over her role at the central bank. "I see it as a court case that it would be inappropriate for me to comment on," Powell said when asked at the conclusion of the two-day Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting. The Federal Reserve has previously acknowledged the potential legal feud and wrote in an Aug. 26 statement that the Fed will "abide by any court decision." On Tuesday, the Trump administration vowed to take its fight...

For years Democrats have been accusing conservatives of being cruel, heartless individuals. Our crime? Believing in God, the Church, the family, the country, the Constitution, and the rule of law. Their attempts to claim the moral high ground has led them to institute "restorative justice," where people credibly accused of criminal acts are released without bail. They've instituted policies allowing millions of unvetted, unvaccinated individuals from third-world countries to be welcomed into the country and hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children to go missing in four years. We've watched while Catholic churches were vandalized and burned because we oppose...

“This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him” (John 2:11). When Jesus turned water into wine, His purpose was not to amaze His audience with His power. His miracles met specific needs, such as opening blind eyes or deaf ears, delivering those oppressed by demons, feeding hungry people, or calming a threatening storm. This miracle met the genuine need of the family and their guests. But even more important, this first of Jesus’ signs manifested His glory (cf. 1:14)—He put His deity on display. Jesus’ signs were...

Republican allies of Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. attacked former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Susan Monarez during a Senate Health Committee hearing on Wednesday about the agency’s leadership. Several GOP senators questioned Monarez sharply about her willingness to reconsider vaccine guidance. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), an ophthalmologist, led the way, pressing Monarez on the Covid-19 shot’s efficacy in children under 18 and the need for newborns to receive the hepatitis B vaccine when their mothers aren’t infected. “The burden is upon you, and the people you wouldn’t fire to prove to us that we need to...

Dodge County Coroner Joe Smith — the star athlete’s great-uncle — said it remains unclear why the teen collapsed, and autopsy results to determine his cause of death are still pending.

Over the last few days, many children in Texas told their parents what they heard or saw in the classrooms about Charlie Kirk's assassination. Unfortunately, some teachers decided to engage in political activism. They expressed opinions, usually negative, of Charlie Kirk. It was too much for many parents who went over to see the principal. It was also too much for Governor Greg Abbott, as we see in this story: The Texas Education Agency is investigating teachers and staff who have "posted and/or shared reprehensible and inappropriate content on social media" about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.As expected, the American...

The largest shopping mall in San Francisco is now reportedly 93% vacant and has seen its value plunge by 25% over the past year, as high rents and retail crime continue to batter the Northern California city. A new appraisal has slashed the value of San Francisco Centre, located at 865 Market Street, to $195 million, which is a 25% decrease since August 2024 and more than $1 billion below its valuation in 2016, the San Francisco Chronicle reported, citing research from Morningstar. The 1.4 million-square-foot mall has become largely deserted, with 93% of its property now empty, according to...

The transgender roommate of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was previously kicked out of his parents’ house over issues surrounding substance abuse, gender identity and a persistent video game addiction, a relative told Fox News Digital. Lance Twiggs, who has not been charged with a crime, moved into a townhome in St. George, Utah, after living with his grandparents when his father kicked him out, the relative said. The 22-year-old is also in the process of transitioning from male to female, the relative confirmed. He was kicked out of his parents' home at the age of 18, according to...

Importing bookmarks from Brave on my Win 10 Pro desktop machine to my new Win 11 Pro desktop is not working. Brave SAYS the import has been made, but, nothing shows up where the Favorites bar resides. Or, at least Brave isn’t displaying it despite me making sure the “Show Bookmarks” button is on. If I go to a website and then hit the button near the top of the Brave window to add a single bookmark, that works fine. I used Notepad to take a peek at the file, and it looks ok to me - not that I’m...

Did anyone see what Kash Patel did? I was watching his interrogation and I noticed something. He was insulting the Dems and ridiculing them. It made me think, "what the F is Patel doing? He's trying to keep his job at the FBI so why is he insulting the Dems on the committee." Then it hit me. RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

This is an hour long video that is thought-provoking at the least. During the last half of the video Candace claims that in the weeks prior to his murder, Charlie had lost a $2M donation as well as other donations over him wanting to invite Tucker Carlson to a debate show and this was on his mind. She claims that some of the same people voicing tributes were the ones that had been pressuring Charlie. Tucker makes the claim that Charlie showed him the emails he had received from these (unnamed) people. The majority of the video deals with questions...

A District Attorney dubbed the 'wokest' in the country has launched a new 'soft-on-crime' policy that is set to make her city even more dangerous. The controversial change introduced by Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty takes effect October 15. Under the new policy, if police pull someone over for a minor issue like a broken taillight and then find illegal drugs or a gun, the county attorney’s office will no longer press charges.

Kamala Harris settled on picking Tim Walz to be her running mate last year because she felt Americans were too racist, antisemitic and homophobic to accept her preferred option – Pete Buttigieg. In an excerpt from the former vice president’s forthcoming book, “107 Days,” obtained by The Atlantic magazine, Harris describes Buttigieg as her “first choice” but later deemed the openly gay former transportation secretary to be “too big of a risk” on the ticket. Buttigieg “would have been an ideal partner —if I were a straight white man,” Harris wrote. “But we were already asking a lot of America:...

It’s a regular science fiction trope. Whether it’s The Invasion of the Body Snatchers’ alien pod people replicating humanity, Star Trek: The Next Generation’s parasites taking over people’s brains, Supernatural’s demons possessing human form, or just the standard vampire movie, the situation is familiar: The person you knew and loved looks the same, or at least looks familiar, but his essence is gone. He is simply a meat suit wrapped about an alien being. I kept thinking of that trope as I considered the amazingly difficult decision that Tyler Robinson’s parents made: They turned him over to law enforcement, even...
