A Kenyan national convicted of sexually assaulting a sleeping woman in Minnesota wasn’t deported after his prison sentence — he was promoted. Wilson Tindi holds a director position at the Minnesota Department of Education, where he audits taxpayer spending and oversees internal accountability. Court records show Tindi was convicted in 2016 of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct after breaking into a woman’s home and assaulting her in bed where she slept. He pleaded guilty to the sex assault charge in exchange for prosecutors dropping a first-degree burglary charge. Tindi was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to register as...

The fight over the future of the Democratic Party remains center stage in Pennsylvania, where Sen. John Fetterman continues to frustrate progressives while his Democratic colleagues and even potential rivals rally around efforts to blunt the Trump administration’s moves. Political operatives in both major parties told the Post-Gazette it’s too early to know how a 2028 Senate primary or general election might play out. But a poll from Susquehanna Polling and Research this past week suggests some Democrats are increasingly disappointed in the senator from Braddock, who remains one of Capitol Hill’s staunchest supporters of Israel, continues to needle his...

Flynn also stated that the administration has created a more production-friendly environment, with Trump signaling to the market a shift toward more favorable regulations. He pointed...

There’s something new under the sun. Linda Sun, the embattled ex-aide to Govs. Kathy Hochul and Andrew Cuomo accused of being a Chinese spy, will stay free on bail after facing a federal judge Monday on fresh bribery charges. Sun and her husband Chris Hu both pleaded not guilty during a four-minute proceeding in Brooklyn that set the stage for a potentially sprawling trial focused on accusations she served as a foreign agent for the People’s Republic of China and Chinese Community Party while working at the highest level of New York’s government. A federal grand jury last week returned...

Democrats are in “absolute panic” over Zohran Mamdani’s stunning New York City Democratic mayoral primary win — fearing he could be “toxic” for the party but worried about possible primary challenges if they don’t endorse him, sources told The Post. Congressional Dems are “afraid” of Mamdani supporters setting up opponents to incumbents, including Reps. Dan Goldman, Jerry Nadler and even Grace Meng and Adriano Espaillat “could be a target,” a New York Democratic source said Monday. “It’s not hesitancy, it’s absolute panic and fear – and fear that not only are they saddled with (Gov.) Kathy Hochul’s very bad polling...

Does anyone know how old the Free Republic software is? Doesn't appear to have been updated in at least the 20 years that I've been here. It would be nice to have hyperlinks and better interfaces and a better search function. Not just text and photo files in line. It looks like Craigslist looked about 25 years ago. Anybody with software experience have any thoughts on this?

After Tuesday's primary, Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani is that much closer to serving as New York City's next Democratic mayor, especially after former Gov. Andrew Cuomo conceded. That Mamdani is a far-left socialist who has concerning views on a whole host of issues puts his fellow Democrats in a tricky place. Many still offered words of praise, though, including fellow New York Democrats like Gov. Kathy Hochul and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. As it turns out, though, Hochul doesn't look to be ready to back Mamdani after all, though. "Today, voters made their voices heard, demanding a more affordable, more...

A police officer who confronted sword killer Marcus Monzo after he murdered 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin in east London has praised his ‘undoubtedly heroic’ colleagues for stopping Monzo’s rampage. Inspector Moloy Campbell’s hand was sliced open by Monzo’s blade while attempting to bring him down with pepper spray and a baton on April 30 last year. Monzo, 37, who was convicted of murder this week, had nearly decapitated Daniel, attacked a couple in their home and repeatedly slashed first-responder PC Yasmin Mechem-Whitfield. Inspector Campbell and his sergeant drove to the scene after the injured officer’s colleague radioed for help. He said:...

New York City’s favored son, a Muslim communist by the name of Zohran Mamdani, who is the city’s Democratic mayoral candidate, refused to condemn a term for killing Jews – “Globalize the Intifada” – three times during an interview on Meet the Press Sunday. Welker presses for an answer from Mamdani Host Kristen Welker should be given credit for asking the question numerous times during the sit-down, but Mamdani expertly deflected as politicians always do when they don’t want to honestly answer something. She noted to Mamdani that the phrase called for violence against the Jewish people, but he just...

The famous DataRepublican data analyst dropped damaging information she had gathered about Code Pink's connections to the communist Chinese government after the group threatened legal action against her. The database kernel engineer, whose real name is Jennica Pounds, said Wednesday on social media that the group sent her a message accusing her of libel. "We are writing to formally address and correct the false and defamatory statements made in your recent social media posts regarding CODEPINK," the group reportedly wrote. "These claims — which falsely allege that our organization is funded by China, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), or any...

The Department of Justice released a memo, published on June 11, that could strip some Americans of their citizenship, reports The Guardian. The memo instructs attorneys in the department to conduct proceedings to revoke a person’s citizenship in the event they have committed certain crimes. The memo says if someone’s citizenship was “illegally procured” or procured “by concealment of a material fact or by willful misrepresentation,” attorneys in the department should work to revoke their citizenship. The memo references 25 million U.S. citizens who were born abroad and subsequently immigrated to the country. It also lists 10 categories for denaturalization....

Progressives have long wished that the federal government would more aggressively enforce civil-rights law in higher education. Did they wish upon a monkey’s paw? Since Donald Trump retook the White House, his administration has used the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to trap dozens of colleges in the federal equivalent of a headlock, forcing them to submit to sweeping demands or else have their federal funds frozen or foreign students banned. According to Team Trump, it is targeting academics who violate civil-rights laws—by discriminating against Asian Americans in admissions, allowing biological males to compete with females in athletics, tolerating a...

A Missouri pharmacist suspects the Biden autopen signature is bigger than already reported. On February 20, 2021 a Missouri pharmacist reached out to The Gateway Pundit and shared his observations on Biden’s signature to date. (This was only a few weeks after Biden stepped into the White House and no doubt one of the first observations on Joe Biden’s signature on official documents.) This pharmacist noted: I am a pharmacist in Missouri. I read a few days ago that none of Biden’s Executive Orders have been posted to the Federal Register, so I looked, then, a few days ago. Those...

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has disclosed that Hamas had placed bounties on American security workers in the enclave and that 12 of the organization’s local staff members had been murdered in its latest update on the situation in Gaza. The GHF, an Israeli and US-backed NGO, began operating in Gaza in May to distribute humanitarian aid. “Hamas has placed bounties on both our American security personnel and Palestinian aid workers, offering cash rewards to anyone who injures or kills them,” the Sunday GHF statement said. The aid organization acknowledged the reports that the Hamas terror group has been targeting its...

Democrats are worried that their party won’t be able to afford to even pay its employees through the end of the year, their donations have dried up so much. It couldn’t happen to a nicer group of people. They absolutely deserve every bit of it, and I will cheer so loudly if it happens that you’ll hear me do it, no matter where on the planet you are. How did the party go from woke to broke? Easy, it’s right there in the question. At no point in the last 10 years have Democrats found themselves on the positive side...
