Gas prices are sitting at a four-year low

...

The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $3.20 on Friday

....

Phil Flynn, energy market analyst and FOX Business contributor, credited the neutralization of Iran’s nuclear program for removing a significant amount of geopolitical risk from oil prices, noting that this "has shown up in the gas prices."

Flynn also stated that the administration has created a more production-friendly environment, with Trump signaling to the market a shift toward more favorable regulations. He pointed to more realistic plans for oil production and the potential acceleration of refinery permitting, which he said could result in significant long-term savings on gasoline prices.

"This is going to be a big win for consumers as inflation continues to come down," he added.

Just drove past a station in Illinois (DeKalb). They are closed for the day, so they have tomorrow's (7/1) price posted.

$3.65.9 per gallon. That's getting ready for the tax increases scheduled for Illinois effective 7/1. We are an island of tax and spend in a sea of moderation around us.

It’s been holding steady here in Maricopa County, Arizona at about $3.39 (from a high earlier this year of around $3.69). Maricopa County (the greater Phoenix area) is high compared to the rest of Arizona because of the special summer blend of the gas, much like California. I’ve seen it outside the county for about $2.99.

$2.64/9 per gallon around here. We’ve been down so long, that this seems like up, like the song says. It’s better than the alternative, anyway.

Take out of the average the $4+ per gallon States of Kalifornia, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii. What would then be the average?

You beat me to it! Gas prices are set to rise on July 1 when the gas tax increase takes effect.

Paid $5.15 per gallon today for regular gas. Premium runs $5.79 per gallon.

CA seems determined to consign the lower income folks to mediocre public transit and used EVs.

Except for California. Our State taxes go up another $.65 per gallon tomorrow so we will be over $5.00 pretty much all over the state. Newsome and Democrats control both houses and they continue to pass more outrageous taxes.
