Idaho student murders suspect Bryan Kohberger has accepted a plea deal to spare his life in the murders of four University of Idaho students, two sources close to the case told Fox News Digital Monday.
Kohberger, 30, is accused of killing Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, in a 4 a.m. home invasion attack on Nov. 13, 2022.
Goncalves' family, in a Facebook page her parents created after the murders, condemned the deal, which spares Kohberger's life.
"We are beyond furious at the State of Idaho," a new post reads. "They have failed us. Please give us some time. This was very unexpected."

A motive explanation included?
There better be.....and they need to make him provide the location of the murder weapon.
Americans wonder:
how many lawyers will now be forced
to take his place for execution?
I’m still trying to understand the people who found the dead bodies (stabbed to death) who thought they were sleeping or passed out.
He did this to buy more time. Now comes the endless, “he is innocent” do gooders who will file motion after motion saying that he was coerced to admit guilt. Jeeez
The plea deal specifically denies him any future appeals.
Passed out or sleeping? There was blood leaking out of the house.
Idaho law requires the victims families to be consulted before any kind of “Deal” takes place..so if they did not consult than this deal should be voided..this prick deserves to be hung for what he did
I read that the families are distraught over this.
Sorry prosecutor, either lazy or scared to try the case. This should cost him his job.
He may just get the death sentence a different way. A lot faster, too.
I hope this plea deal really turns out to be life in prison for rest of his life, instead of “let him out after 30 years”.
I posted an article. The people who found them didn't understand why they wouldn't wake up. Weird stuff.
Interesting.
And they had been dead and bleeding for at least 8 hours so how could they not see blood everywhere.
I thought the families were allowed some kind of say in the matter?
I’m sure it will. Look at it this way. Even when someone is sentenced to death and there no possible doubt about their guilt, it usually takes decades before the sentence can be carried out. With life in prison with no chance of parole, that’s where he is going to die.
I was on a jury panel for a trial once where the state was asking for the death penalty. It’s a sobering thing to hear the prosecutor say that the government wants to execute someone. It’s not bar room bravado at that point. It’s very serious business.
“has accepted a plea deal to spare his life”
That option should not be available to him.
The relatives should begin planning a way to get him, once he is behind bars...
If they don’t, this killer will be back on the street as soon as the communists get the WH back...
