The Harvard Law Review retaliated against a student editor for allegedly leaking documents to the Washington Free Beacon and demanded, as part of the journal’s disciplinary process, that he request their destruction, according to emails obtained by the Free Beacon. The demand came as the law review was under a document retention order stemming from multiple federal probes, raising questions about whether the journal was also trying to interfere with a government investigation. The Justice Department told Harvard on May 13 that it was investigating reports of racial discrimination at the journal, according to the New York Times. A week...

Today my latest book, How Countries Go Broke: The Big Cycle , is being released. This note is to share what it says in a nutshell. To me, what matters most is conveying understanding at this critically important moment, so I want to pass the key ideas in extreme brevity in this note, as well as comprehensively in the book, and leave it to you decide how deep you want to go. Where I'm Coming FromI have been a global macro investor for over 50 years, have bet on government debt markets for nearly as long, and have done very...

Fox News has uncovered that almost every pardon and act of clemency Biden signed for over 1,500 criminals during his final weeks in office was via autopen. These included preemptive pardons for several members of his family, Anthony Fauci, and General Mark Milley. But Biden made an exception for the man he once called “the smartest guy I know”: his only surviving son, Hunter. In the document below, you can see Joe Biden’s crooked-looking signature. As TGP’s Kristinn Taylor previously reported, Joe Biden granted his son Hunter Biden a blanket pardon in the federal gun and tax cases against him...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“Amen, amen, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and go where you wanted; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” He said this signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had said this, he said to him, “Follow me.” John 21:18–19On this, the third time that Jesus appeared to His disciples, Jesus enters into a threefold discourse with Peter. Each time that Jesus...

Be a clever cinephile, if you want. Walk out of a screening of Jaws and say, “That’s the movie that ruined movies.” You’ll be right, if that’s important to you. On June 20, 1975, Jaws opened on 464 screens at once—a record at the time—breaking the tradition of a slow rollout built on strong word of mouth. It worked. Jaws was the No. 1 film in America for 14 weeks and became the first film ever to gross more than $100 million. Ever a copycat industry, Hollywood imitated the success of this strategy, launching a shift in emphasis from...

Since the missile attack, all 8 Tu-95s which were airborne and 1 of the Tu-160s landed at Engels-2 Airbase. The whereabouts of the other 3 Tu-160s is currently unknown. A few hours ago, 7 Tu-95s departed from Engels-2, and are redeploying to Ukrainka Airbase in Amur Oblast. The other Tu-95 and the Tu-160 have likely been equipped or are in the process of being equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles, from the first IL-76MD which landed there 12 hours ago. This also means that this is one of the rare instances where there are no strategic bombers stationed at Olenya Airbase...

The Daily Beast, another LEFT-WING propaganda outlet, pretends that this strike means Ukraine is winning. I think every one of these journalists should be drafted, handed a gun, and sent to Ukraine to defend what they boast about. Sorry, Putin is the smartest leader in the room. He has drawn so many red lines, and the EU has crossed each one, trying to compel him to attack NATO. Despite the NEOCON propaganda that Western media keeps spouting, this attack does not mean Ukraine is winning on the battlefield, which takes soldiers. Anyone with real sources knows that this is a...

It’s been a while since Americans could actually sit back and enjoy June. Now, instead of bumping into rainbows in every aisle and choking on the colored logos of every conceivable brand, there’s some freedom from the suffocating fumes of Pride Month. In these last two years, the march to pull companies back to neutral has outperformed everyone’s expectations. But in this process of rolling back decades of corporate wokeism, one thing is clear: this isn’t over. No matter how much success conservatives have, not everyone will go quietly. When it comes to LGBT activism, some businesses are playing for...

Have you heard? South Korea pulled a “North Korea” and just crushed their enemy into dust. ... It all started when the liberals impeached the right-wing president. Then, they triggered a new election, which, of course, they won. And now, they’re feverishly working to expand their high court to lock in a permanent liberal majority. Steve Bannon saw it coming back in May; he knew our South Korean allies were headed for serious trouble. ... Would Republicans ever pull something like this? Oh, heavens no. We’re still stuck operating under the Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney battle plan: “That’s not...

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) met privately Thursday afternoon with President Donald Trump’s “ambassador” to Hollywood, Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, to discuss ideas for saving the film industry. Hollywood has been losing jobs due to high costs, damaging union strikes, artificial intelligence, and the tax incentives offered by competing film locations elsewhere, such as Vancouver, Atlanta, and overseas sites. Newsom is an implacable opponent of President Trump, but evidently is willing to work with him to save one of California’s most important industries — and the source of many of his own political donations. Politico reports: The pair met privately...

June 6, 1944—a date etched into the annals of history. Known simply as D-Day, it was the start of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy, France, and the largest amphibious assault ever conducted. But beneath the surface of this widely remembered military operation lie lesser-known stories, unsung innovations, and strategic gambits that made this turning point of World War II both extraordinary and brutal. The Massive Deception that Made D-Day Possible One of the most overlooked elements of D-Day is the sophisticated web of deception known as Operation Bodyguard, a set of diversionary operations meant to mislead the German...

The United States is on track to record its lowest murder rate in more than six decades – a major public safety milestone under President Donald Trump’s leadership. New data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) shows that the murder rate is plummeting nationwide. According to the Real-Time Crime Index, the number of murders in the country has dropped by 21.6 percent compared to the same period in 2024. In early May alone, murder rates fell 31.6 percent in Baltimore, 34.5 percent in St. Louis, 36.8 percent in Cleveland, 63 percent in Denver, 30.6 percent in New Orleans, 26.8...

President Trump is planning on parting ways with all traces of Elon Musk — including the Tesla he bought at full price on March 11. The president is looking to now sell or give away his red Tesla, a White House official confirmed to The Post. The vehicle is currently parked in the White House parking lot and was intended for staff use. Trump made a big show of buying the Tesla weeks ago to support Musk, who was suffering from nation-wide attacks on Tesla vehicles and buildings. But Trump is still hot over his massive fight with Musk that...

White House insiders told the Daily Caller Thursday that the snubbing of Elon Musk’s NASA pick was the final straw after months of friction between he and the Trump White House. After Musk publicly criticized Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” for days, Trump finally alleged the former head of DOGE has Trump Derangement Syndrome. Then the floodgates opened: Musk called for the president’s impeachment and alleged his former boss is in the Epstein Files. White House insiders told the Caller Musk had been over-asking and trying to act like a second president. He was being told no a lot, something that...

The Trump administration on Thursday imposed sanctions on four judges at the International Criminal Court over allegations against Israel. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced sanctions against Solomy Balungi Bossa of Uganda, Luz del Carmen Ibáñez Carranza of Peru, Reine Adelaide Sophie Alapini Gansou of Benin, and Beti Hohler of Slovenia. "These individuals directly engaged in efforts by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute nationals of the United States or Israel, without consent from the United States or Israel," Rubio said. The sanctions against the Hague-based court are related to Trump Feb. 6 executive order....

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) reinforced one thing voters have said about Democrats—they’re lousy leaders. No one sees the Democratic Party as having a sea of good leadership. They have no leaders, so they’re sinking faster than the Lusitania. They have no message other than ‘orange man…bad.’ That was also made explicitly clear. package, which Schumer said will kill everyone. It makes the Trump tax cuts permanent, reforms social programs, and provides funds to enforce existing immigration laws. That’s the core of the bill, but we’re all going to die. No one believes it. It has reached a bit of a...

None offered. (A journalist interviews a victim of an inter-racial attack on her family in South Africa. Disturbingly she describes the lethargy and almost obvious reluctance of S.A. authorities to protect them.)
