BREAKING: Murder Rates Plummet Under Trump
AMAC ^ | 06 05 2025 | Alan Jamison

The United States is on track to record its lowest murder rate in more than six decades – a major public safety milestone under President Donald Trump’s leadership.

New data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) shows that the murder rate is plummeting nationwide. According to the Real-Time Crime Index, the number of murders in the country has dropped by 21.6 percent compared to the same period in 2024. In early May alone, murder rates fell 31.6 percent in Baltimore, 34.5 percent in St. Louis, 36.8 percent in Cleveland, 63 percent in Denver, 30.6 percent in New Orleans, 26.8 percent in New York, and 23.7 percent in Chicago.

If that trend continues, 2025 could break records – and even the corporate media is begrudgingly taking note. Politico recently noted that “murder rates are tumbling across the U.S. in 2025” and suggested the country “could be on course for the lowest number on record.” At current levels, 2025 would end up with fewer murders than 2014, when the U.S. recorded its lowest murder rate since 1960 – 4.46 murders per 100,000 Americans.

By comparison, the murder rate was 6.83 per 100,000 in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and widespread violent BLM riots in major cities. Murder rates climbed further in 2021 and remained elevated through 2022.

Strange how the murder rate drops as illegals are deported. Could there be some sort of connection?

And certain groups are not being reported otherwise.

Just imagine is every state would lock up all repeat offenders, time to use the word ‘kill’ in the sentence, kill the release of them all.

Or:
“Decline in murders shows Trump doesn’t care about the livelihood of killers.”

I guess deporting the illegal alien murdering gang-banger thugs could have something to do with it.

WashPost wrote an article “wondering” about how this might be. Insisted that it is nuanced. Went over loads of speculations on this and also why fentanyl imports are down — while covering up the obvious — close th border to criminals and crimes go down.

Typical commie trash crappola.

A small % of people commit most of the crime. Focus on the worst of the worst, black brown white or whatever.

Incarcerate them for ages or simply put them to death. El Salvador style.

We are almost half way through the year.

Consider we are at record highs for per capital number of firearms in the USA. 533 million at present, for 344 million people. 1.55 per capita.

https://www.ammoland.com/2025/05/update-533-million-privately-owned-firearms-in-the-united-states/#

Rather destroys the whole "guns cause murder" assumption.

**lowest murder rate in more than six decades***

I thought all that “Lawlessness and Chaos” was done away with by the Democrats back in 1968!

“Today we begin to disarm the criminal and the careless and the insane. All of our people who are deeply concerned in this country about law and order should hail this day.”-— Lyndon Johnson signing the 1968 gun control act into law.

And Thomas J. Dodd, who wrote the 1968 gun control act using the 1938 Nazi Weapons Law as a pattern...

“No one can predict how many lives will be spared because of this bill, but, if the bloody record of our yesterdays is any measure, millions of future Americans will live to enjoy the promise of many peaceful tomorrows.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play a part in this great moment in our time.”— Thomas J. Dodd on passage of the 1968 Gun control act.
***
Democrats like a high murder rate so they can scream for MORE GUN CONTROL! In the past, after a series of murders they were screaming for MORE GUN CONTROL! Problem with that was none of the murders they were screaming about were done with firearms.
