Transgenderism, decadence, sexual deviancy, and moral decay were all present in Rome when the republic became an empire. What could this mean for America, which faces similar problems right now?

The Trump administration on Thursday imposed sanctions on four judges at the International Criminal Court over allegations against Israel. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced sanctions against Solomy Balungi Bossa of Uganda, Luz del Carmen Ibáñez Carranza of Peru, Reine Adelaide Sophie Alapini Gansou of Benin, and Beti Hohler of Slovenia. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) reinforced one thing voters have said about Democrats—they’re lousy leaders. No one sees the Democratic Party as having a sea of good leadership. They have no leaders, so they’re sinking faster than the Lusitania. They have no message other than ‘orange man…bad.’ That was also made explicitly clear. package, which Schumer said will kill everyone. It makes the Trump tax cuts permanent, reforms social programs, and provides funds to enforce existing immigration laws. That’s the core of the bill, but we’re all going to die. No one believes it. It has reached a bit of a...

None offered. (A journalist interviews a victim of an inter-racial attack on her family in South Africa. Disturbingly she describes the lethargy and almost obvious reluctance of S.A. authorities to protect them.)

"The girls are fighting, aren't they?" SNIP She went on to explain, "You know, I would say that this was something that was a long time coming. We were saying that these two huge egos were not long for being together in this world as friends. I think this breakup we've been seeing a long time coming, we'll see the impacts of it legislatively."

Imagine picking up every man in a medium-sized city, everything they’ll need to eat and drink and rest for a few days, any vehicles they might need, gasoline, of course, plus lots of guns and ammo, and then moving it all in a few short hours a distance of anywhere from 30 to 125 miles. But this is no road trip. You have to move all those people and all that stuff partly by air, but mostly across heavy seas in foul weather. Under enemy fire. I should also mention that if you messed up any of the big details...

There are many things in this world I will just never understand. For example, how is it that I can’t seem to grow a simple patch of grass in my back yard no matter what I do? I can prepare the soil, plant a variety of grass seed, fertilize it, water it, fence it off to avoid traffic, nurture it for months, and yet still end up with a barren patch of dirt. Meanwhile, the tiniest crack in the concrete of my driveway will yield a steady crop of healthy grass and weeds, no matter what I do to stop...

Following the horrific and incredibly destructive fires in southern California earlier this year, hundreds of residents of the Pacific Palisades neighborhood are opting to sell their homes rather than rebuild. For months now, various people have predicted that this would happen because the bureaucratic red tape in California is a nightmare to deal with, not to mention the exorbitant costs. It is absolutely awful that so many of these people find themselves in a position where they’re unable to rebuild homes they have lived in for years. This is all on the Democrat leaders of the city and the state....

Ilyse Hogue, former president of NARAL, has made a career of alienating male voters with woke nonsense. Now she's leading a campaign to win them back with 'super charged social listening.' The Democratic Party's widely ridiculed campaign to spend $20 million on a "strategic plan" to "study young men" was spearheaded by the former president of a left-wing activist group that supported efforts to "defund the police," denounced the Supreme Court nomination of "frat boy" Brett Kavanaugh, and attacked "white women" for upholding "the patriarchy." Politico reports that Ilyse Hogue, former president of NARAL Pro-Choice America (now known as Reproductive...

The U.S. economy added jobs in May at a slower pace than in the past two months as uncertainty over the direction of trade, tax and monetary policy caused employers to pull back on hiring. The Labor Department on Friday reported that employers added 139,000 jobs in May. That figure was slightly above the estimate of economists polled by LSEG, who projected 130,000 jobs added – though it was cooler than the initial report of 177,000 jobs added in April or the 185,000 jobs gained in March. The unemployment rate was 4.2%, unchanged from the past two months and in...

A disbarred attorney is now convicted of stealing deeds from minority homeowners. "He stole our lives," said Clotilde "Wendy" Sawadogo, deed theft victim. "We were no longer happy in our house. We were feeling like strangers in our own homes." Sawadogo spoke about the building she and her husband Patrice Sawadogo owned in East Flatbush. The building on East 21st Street and another in East New York were both taken from the couple 13 years ago, and Thursday the man responsible was held accountable. The scales of justice came for Pepe. Cops detained – and rescued – a monster 10-foot alligator they nicknamed Pepe the Gator sunbathing on a busy road in North Carolina and “charged” him on suspicion of being a “dinosaur.” “Witnesses say he was just chilling and snapping, clearly ignoring the ‘no loitering or lounging on roadways’ sign,” the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a playful press release last week. “Pepe has been cited for Suspicion of Being a Dinosaur Without Proper Papers, Public Loitering with Intent to Sunbathe, and Obstructing Traffic.” “He was 10 feet long, 400 pounds. He...

Elon Musk said Monday at the Wall Street Journal’s CEO summit that he doesn’t think the United States needs the Biden administration’s infrastructure bill — or any government subsidies, for that matter. “Just delete them all,” he said. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO said during the interview that he’s concerned about the federal deficit. “We’ve spent so much money.. the federal budget deficit is insane,” he said. “I would say... can the whole bill. Don’t pass it, that’s my recommendation,” Musk said. Musk pointed out that Tesla has been selling its electric cars for more than a year in the...

Thursday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” left-wing political commentator Van Jones said President Donald Trump should “fire, investigate and prosecute” all of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) employees. Jones said, “Look, a couple of things. One is, you know, the power that Elon Musk still has is significant. Somebody said Trump has three and a half more years, Elon has 40. He’s a billionaire. He’s got a long-term play.” Cooper said, “I believe it was Elon Musk who said that.” Jones said, “Elon’s correct. You good at math? But the other piece of it is those DOGE employees are...

New research shows 8,000-pound sloths once dug caves, adapted to oceans, and roamed widely—until climate and humans brought their downfall. (Artist’s concept.) Credit: SciTechDaily.com ================================================================= Long before they became tree-hugging symbols of chill, sloths were 8,000-pound giants that roamed deserts, dug caves into cliffs, and even swam like manatees. Scientists have now pieced together the epic story of their evolution, using ancient DNA and hundreds of fossils to explain how sloths once grew to mammoth proportions—bigger than most cars—and why they eventually shrank or vanished altogether. Sloths’ Strange Family Tree Most of us know sloths as the slow-moving, tree-loving creatures...

President Donald Trump is “not interested” in a call with Tesla CEO Elon Musk to resolve their feud, a senior White House official told NBC News on Friday morning. The two billionaires launched a war of words on Thursday over Musk’s continued criticism of Trump’s proposed tax bill. Trump said that Musk, who until a week ago was one of his top government advisors, had gone “crazy” and threatened to kill federal contracts with his companies, which include SpaceX. Musk, in turn, said Trump could not have been elected president without his massive financial support, and accused the Republican of...
