Explanation: On January 13 a Full Moon and a Full Mars were close, both bright and opposite the Sun in planet Earth's sky. In fact Mars was occulted, passing behind the Moon, when viewed from some locations in North America and northwest Africa. As seen from Richmond, Virginia, USA, this composite image sequence follows the evening lunar occultation before, during, and after the much anticipated celestial spectacle. The telescopic time series is constructed from an exposure made every two minutes while tracking the Moon over the hours encompassing the event. As a result, the Red Planet's trajectory seems to follow...

The deal will take effect on Sunday, Arutz Sheva reported. Josh Waller of The Israel Guys called the Hostage Deal “disastrous” and a “sinister scheme going on...

It’s quite disconcerting,'” Ferrell revealed.

As the smoke begins to clear, the cruel environy is dawning. Even now, the homeless LA gliteratti, who soon may be allowed to sift through the ashes of their homes in hopes of finding the gold coins that looters haven't dug up yet, wonder how they could have been so...

...Now, in closing today, we've seen that the Earth has gradually changed over millions of years and that the continents have drifted. Radiometric dating has solidly established that the Earth is billions of years old, leaving plenty of time for the engine of evolution, natural selection, and mutation to drive evolutionary progress. Now, Charles Darwin may have discovered the key principles of human evolution that we base these principles on, but it is my hope that you, the next generation, would take these theories and continue to help us prove just how evolution happens. Now, with that, I'll open up...

H-1B visas are a special type of visa that allow American companies to easily bring in skilled workers from other countries. They were introduced in 1990, but since 2004, they’ve been capped. President Trump, who has historically been in favor of tighter immigration restrictions, has recently implied support for the program. Since then, there has been a fierce and unavoidable public debate about the issue. But why is this seemingly small program so controversial, and what’s really at the heart of this issue? The Basics>/H3> H-1B visas were designed to help American companies hire employees of exceptional skill in certain...

Former Canadian finance minister – and deputy Prime Minister – Chrystia Freeland announced yesterday (17) that she will join the contest to replace Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as leader of the Canadian ruling Liberal Party. Before we share some of the Reuters’ reports about their former senior editor Freeland, let’s bring back a dimension of her that MSM will do their utmost to cover up: the Nazi connection. Chrystia Freeland’s family connections to Ukrainian Nazis revolve around her maternal grandfather, ‘Michael’ Mykhailo Chomiak. Chomiak was an editor of a Ukrainian-language Nazi propaganda newspaper called Krakivski Visti, published in Nazi-occupied Poland...

Renters who have taken in people displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires now have some eviction protections due to a new executive order. The new order, from Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday, Jan. 17, prohibits landlords from evicting tenants who violate an occupancy provision of their lease because they are sheltering at least one person due to the ongoing emergency. “At a time when so many have been suddenly displaced, we need more housing and shelter than ever,” Newsom said in a statement. “Opening your place of residence to help shelter those in need is not only encouraged and generous,...

When I found out that the New York Times was ending Charles Blow’s regular column, it was like the boot of truth had slammed onto my shoulders with a thunderous clap. An editor at the paper reportedly sent out an internal memo informing staff Friday morning that Blow’s departure was among the ways the Times opinion section would be reoriented, which means the publication will see a severe decline in mutilated metaphors, juvenile arguments, and the most unoriginal writing to ever hold such a prestigious place in news journalism. I’ll miss it dearly.

In a new interview with Fox News Digital, Altman explained how the Los Angeles fires have affected residents of the Southern California town and what the future looks like. He says his insurance agent told him that "90-plus percent of these people are heavily underinsured." Altman added, "I think 65-70% of the people do not go back to the Palisades or Malibu. I can just tell you from gauging all these calls that I'm getting where...

A record number of millionaires have left Britain since Sir Keir Starmer came to power and there is growing concern that Labour’s tax plans are exiling international investors and damaging the economy. The Treasury is facing calls to reverse its crackdown on non-domiciled residents as the scale of the exodus becomes clear. Tax advisers also report that growing numbers of British entrepreneurs are prepared to leave the country after the tax rises announced in the autumn budget. In total Britain lost a net 10,800 millionaires to migration last year, a 157 per cent increase on 2023, meaning it lost more...

Jeffrey Epstein was offered a sweetheart plea deal by federal prosecutors in return for incriminating information that would lead to President Trump’s impeachment, according to the late pedophile’s cellmate. Ex-Westchester cop and convicted killer Nicholas Tartaglione, Epstein’s bunkmate at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan weeks before his death in August 2019, said the disgraced financier dished on the dirt-digging expedition after a confab with the feds. “He said, ‘When you were a cop, what do you know about proffers and cooperating?’ I said, ‘Jeff, it’s pretty simple, the prosecutors, you know, they caught a fish — you. They’re not...
