Janet Yellen throws another can of garbage into the Biden dumpster fire economy

After four years of allowing Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats to spend up a storm and calling inflation "transitory." Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is suddenly concerned about the debt ceiling.

In Her Last Official Act, Yellen Warns US Will Hit Debt Ceiling One Day After Trump Inauguration

This is a like a goofus who's maxxed out her credit cards and is now complaining about her credit limit.

Yellen didn't complain at all the last two months as Biden has been sending money to green pushers as fast as he could.

Biden has been paying off student loans illegally ... and Yellen didn't say a word.

No complaints as Biden sent unlimited funds to Ukraine.

Didn't say a word as Biden ran up a $2 trillion deficit in a supposedly great economy.

Nor did she say a word when Democrats threatened to close the government instead of agreeing to lift the debt ceiling.

But as soon as Trump takes office she says the U.S is in a world of trouble.

Of course, Yellen also didn't understand inflation as it hit her in the face. As Americans have continued to sound off over sticker shock on retail and grocery shelves, the U.S. Treasury secretary admitted Wednesday that her public predictions were wrong.

In early June 2021, Yellen had tamped down inflationary concerns, claiming rising costs and the contributing factors were "transitory," a term used to describe temporary market conditions.

She blamed consumers for defining 'transitory' as transitory, and not the creative way she did, which was not transitory.

As incoming Vice President J.D. Vance says, they are being handed a dumpster fire as Biden and most of the media continue to claim how great everything is.

Pedo Joe’s parting gift to Trump. And they will blame it on President Trump because the debt ceiling was reached on his first day.

Yellen’s hair style has often reminded me of Captain Kangaroo.

Pres. Trump ought to send her back to the job she had before Biden put her there ... dog groomer I believe.

You misunderstood. Her job wasn’t as a ‘dog groomer’, but she went to a ‘dog groomer’ to get her hair styled.

With President Trump and the GOP in full control of Washington, D.C., the clouds of our long national nightmare are beginning to lift. We are nearing the end of runaway deficit spending, and we stand on the threshold of returning to the economic prosperity and sound judgment that defined the great Republican administrations of the past.

Yellen also didn't understand inflation as it hit her in the face.

I had Econ 101 wayyyy back in the 60s, thus I know more about economics than does Ms. Yellen.

And again.

Debt ceilings began about 1940. It has been largely advocated by conservatives as the ONLY obstacle to growing the debt to infinite. The current arrangement was reached in 2023 with the specific intention of extending past the election.

The special measures Treasury will take have been used many times before when debt ceiling arguments were underway. There is nothing new here. Those measures will likely avoid default out to about June.

The pros and cons — eliminating the debt ceiling eliminates the periodic contentious fight that attach various agendas to that legislation, which MUST pass.

The con . . . the need to keep it, is the original rationale. It is the ONLY obstacle to unlimited spending. The obstacle gets overcome after the big fight. The question then becomes . . . is there value in fighting against growing debt.

I would suggest there is zero benefit to easing the work of Congress. Why not humiliate them with periodically having to fight over the debt ceiling and endure the embarrassment — and elevate awareness of the crushing numbers.

Who is Yellen’s boss?

Glad she will be tossed onto the garbage heap of history. She did absolutely NOTHING in all her time in government. The sick part is that she will land some high paying job at some private university teaching your kids!!!!!
