Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump has set records for lying. Anchor Dana Bash said, “Does Senator Vance have a point when he said that we should hear more from Governor Walz himself or even Vice President Harris to correct the record?” Buttigieg said, “No, he doesn’t. And the fact that a veteran wants to go out and disparage another veteran just goes against certainly everything I learned during my time in service. Look, I think in many ways it’s the exception that proves the rule. If the only...

If you can't beat him, become him. Kamala Harris cannot and will not face a serious interview without a heaping bowl of word salad and she knows it. Thus, she only speaks at campaign rallies and it's exactly the same canned speech each time. The left-wing state media, already unabashedly in lockstep with Harris, has that covered. As Harris is interview-impaired, there's no need to have interviews! The Associated Press is raising eyebrows by downplaying the need for Vice President Kamala Harris to speak to the press."Meet the press? Hold that thought. The candidate sit-down interview ain’t what it used...

53 Two illegal boat migrants died in the English Channel on Sunday morning after setting sail from the beaches of France in an unstable dinghy. A total of 25 migrants have now lost their lives in the Channel while trying to reach British shores since the start of the year after two people drowned on Sunday off the coast of Calais, the Daily Mail reports. According to French maritime officials, around 50 other migrants were brought back to France despite the official policy of Paris to assist migrants in reaching British territorial waters rather than returning them over supposed safety...

Vice President Kamala Harris copied a campaign promise first announced by former President Donald Trump to eliminate taxes on tips. During a campaign rally in Nevada on Saturday, Harris acknowledged that Culinary Union Local 226 was at the rally, and she continued on to vow that if elected president in November, she would work to “raise the minimum wage” and “eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.” Harris’s promise comes after Trump announced in June during a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, that if elected president, his administration would “not charge taxes on tips.”

I believe it is fair to say that we have a mainstream media that has unprofessionally and unethically moved on as fast as possible from the Trump assassination attempt. As much of the media from 1963 admired JFK, much of the mainstream media of today openly loathes former President Trump. I can think of no person in the nation who personally or more deeply understands political assassinations and potential coverups of such assassinations than Kennedy.

Aleksander Lukashenko surprised the residents of Vitebsk on Saturday by paying a visit. The Belarusian leader suggested that another president might soon lead the country. "You should get used to the fact that the president will be different," he said. Aleksander Lukashenko has been ruling Belarus since 1994. The leader, however, is entirely dependent on the Kremlin in his actions. He does everything Vladimir Putin orders him to maintain his power. It's no wonder, since Russian troops are stationed in Belarus, and nuclear weapons have been deployed there. (snip) Aleksander Lukashenko used a mysterious statement during his Saturday visit to...

Legal battles over President Biden’s various schemes to forgive student debt continue. In July, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals indefinitely blocked the administration’s ultra-generous new student-loan repayment plan, which could have cost taxpayers $475 billion. Additional loan-cancelation initiatives—also certain to face legal challenges—are in the works. But the high drama of loan cancelation has drawn attention away from a more pressing issue in the student-loan system. After the pandemic-induced student-loan payment pause ended last year, the Education Department implemented a one-year transition period to allow borrowers time to ease back into the habit of paying their loans. That so-called...

For Cristina Hineman, the situation felt urgent: the 17-year-old needed treatment at Planned Parenthood, where she knew she wouldn’t be subjected to humiliating questions, or an unnecessary waiting period, or lectures, or prying about her certainty. But it wasn’t an abortion she sought. It was testosterone. Planned Parenthood was founded a century ago to promote birth control. Today, its nearly 600 clinics nationwide make it the largest single provider of abortion, contraception, reproductive care, and sex education in the U.S. It has also, in less than a decade, become the country’s leading provider of gender transition hormones for young adults,...

How do you solve a problem like Kamala Harris? If you criticize or attack her, you’ll be seen as a “racist” by the powerful people on the Left, which fuels their momentum and reminds them of their collective sense of purpose. Why is she ahead in the polls now? Because it feels good to vote for her, it’s as simple as that. It’s time for a woman, they proclaim, especially a woman of color. Kamala Harris has now made history four times as the first woman and first woman of color District Attorney, Attorney General, Senator, and Vice President. She...
