Sectarian violence was rekindled in Northern Ireland on Saturday night as police were attacked with petrol bombs following a pro-unionist demonstration that took place in the city.
At least 10 police officers were injured in Londonderry on Saturday evening after they came under assault by a reported group of Irish nationalist youths during “several hours of disorder” on Nailors Row.

Just a matter of time before the lads start breaking into the walls to grab those “tools” that have been stashed all these years.
Diversity is discord!
“The fire-bombings came after the Apprentice Boys Relief of Derry parade took place in the city, an annual celebration that marks the anniversary of the end of the Siege of Derry in 1689, in which the local Protestants successfully fended off the Catholic Jacobite forces of James II.”
1689?.......really? Let it go people.......damn.....SMH
Give Ireland back to the Irish. Heard it somewhere.
DUBLIN — Sinn Féin, the nationalist party on course to top the polls in Ireland's next election, is embracing Palestinians and condemning Israel as it builds populist appeal in a land where Jews are a tiny minority.Nov 15, 2023
Sinn Féin is an undemocratic movement masquerading as a conventional political party (https://www.michaelmcdowell.ie/sinn-f%C3%A9in-is-an-undemocratic-movement.html)
Endorsing the Republican take over of Northern Ireland is another open border policy fiasco.
Northern Ireland should expand its borders with of course the consent of the neighbors. They are doing a better job of repelling invaders than the cucked Republic of Ireland.
Bangladesh is having fun with their diversity too. And the violence between the Hindus and Muslims is spilling in to India. What more did people need to see from 1500 years of constant violence and conquest from Islam?
Another “progressive party” that thinks partnering with Islam will bring some sort of political power they can control. Sure the IRA was tough back in the day. But there are a hell of a lot more violent Muslims than there are fighting Irish.
Christians fighting Christians. Mighty dumb.
Catholic versus Protestant, or something about immigrants?
Back in the 80s I followed what was happening in Northern Ireland as closely as I could. I was actually kind of obsessed with it. Gerry Adams, Sinn Féin, bombings, shootings.....all of it.
Obviously before the internet I was limited to what I could get from the TV news and newspapers, after a couple of years it literally wore me out......it just never stopped. Back and forth. Apparently it’s been so ingrained for so many generations not much has changed.
There is an Irish Republic. These pro Marxist “Nationalist” scumbags can take their asses down the motorway to their beloved Republic.
Good question. Just last week, protestors carrying the Union Jack and the Republic of Ireland flag were marching side by side.
I was in Belfast while on a bus tour in 2006. Back then I believed that all the tensions were just lying dormant in that city, only waiting for something to bring them all back to the fore. All it took was the Irish Government welcoming a bunch of muzzies into the country, and catering to their every need. At this point, disgruntled people will use any event, any means to present their opposition to what has been going on in Ireland. This likely won’t be the last of its kind.
The Troubles are back?
I am surprised that the Irish would do this. Next they will be accused of drinking too much....
