When is the Trump Harris debate?
-
President Harris will make a big change to her transportation when she is elected. The presidential limousine will be replaced by a big yellow school bus. Harris loved riding the bus (the short one) to her school as a child. The presidential school bus will be equipped with a word salad shooter, a ven diagram generator for briefings and a weed den in the back for kicking back and cooling it. A large sturdy couch will be provided for entertaining visiting high profile political personnel.

If everybody always lies to you, the consequence is not that you believe the lies, but rather that nobody believes anything any longer. This is because lies, by their very nature, have to be changed, and a lying government has constantly to rewrite its own history. On the receiving end you get not only one lie — a lie which you could go on for the rest of your days — but you get a great number of lies, depending on how the political wind blows. And a people that no longer can believe anything cannot make up its mind....

Some Democrats are hoping Vice President Harris will "pivot" on some of the administration's Israel policies as she is likely to take President Biden's position at the top of the Democratic ticket. "It’s very important for her to try to pivot here," a Palestinian American analyst who is connected to the president's team told Politico. "Obviously, she’s not going to make a 180-degree turn on Israel policy, but politically, it would be useful for the Democrats for them to signal to their base in a genuine way that there’s change coming."

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “OutFront,” Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) responded to a question on why President Joe Biden waited months to take action on the border even after Pritzker himself called the situation unsustainable, by arguing that 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump “did nothing for U.S. relations with Central and South America, and that really was the beginning of the cause of the problem at the border.” Host Erin Burnett asked, “[B]ack in October, you called the border situation untenable, undocumented immigrants are being sent to your state. It took eight months more, eight months...

When Joe Biden endorsed Kamala Harris to become the Democratic nominee, Donald Trump confidently claimed she’d be even easier to defeat in November than Biden would have been. In reality, the vice president’s arrival in the race on a tidal wave of support from her colleagues and party donors creates a major headache for the Republican’s campaign, which, until Sunday, had been enjoying mutinous disarray among its Democratic opponents. Beyoncé Gives Her Approval for Kamala to Use ‘Freedom’ as Campaign Anthem Now, with Harris already claiming to have enough support to become her party’s nominee, reports suggest the Trump campaign...

History has its eye on us. President Biden’s decision to end his campaign was as pure an act of patriotism as I have seen in my lifetime. It should also be a call to action to the rest of us to continue his fight for the soul of our nation. The next 15 weeks will be like nothing this country has ever experienced politically, but have no doubt: This is a race Democrats can and must win.Mr. Biden has done a hard and rare thing. Serving as president was a lifelong dream. And when he finally got there, he was...

Presumptive Democratic nominee and US vice-president Kamala Harris has Irish roots but not in a way that she is likely to embrace. Ms Harris is the daughter of Donald J Harris, who was born in Jamaica, and Shyamala Gopalan Harris from India. Genealogical research carried out by Northern Irish historian Stephen McCracken reveals Ms Harris’s four-times-paternal-great-grandfather Hamilton Brown was born in Co Antrim in 1776, the year of the US Declaration of Independence. Brown emigrated to Jamaica, then a British colony, and became an enthusiastic slave owner on the sugar plantations that were the mainstay of the island’s economy. He...

The most striking thing about the Democratic move to anoint Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s presidential nominee is how incredibly fast it was. President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the race early Sunday afternoon. Thirty-two hours later, less than a day and a half, the party’s top leadership, plus a majority of the nearly 4,000 Democratic convention delegates, had committed to support Harris. By late Monday night, the Harris campaign posted a message headlined, “Statement from Vice President Kamala Harris on Becoming the Presumptive Democratic Nominee for President.” People from all over the political world were amazed...

Democrats’ abrupt and desperate move to ditch incumbent President Joe Biden as their 2024 presidential candidate and instead coronate Vice President Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket is already showing signs of backfiring on their party and playing right into GOP presidential nominee former President Donald Trump’s hands.First and foremost, the mad dash by Democrats over the past several weeks since the late June debate between Trump and Biden to force the reluctant-to-drop-out Biden out of the race severely weakened Biden’s standing to the point where he basically had no choice politically but to drop. Then, when Biden...

You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?!” Vice President Kamala Harris famously asked with her signature zany laugh in a May 2023 speech. “You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you!” The coconut tree aphorism—which can actually be attributed to Harris’s mother, Shyamala—is why your social media feed has probably been full of coconut emojis and memes since Sunday afternoon, when President Joe Biden announced he would not be seeking reelection in November, and endorsed Harris to replace him on the Democratic ticket. Since Biden’s disastrous June 27 debate...

Physicists at the University of Stuttgart, led by Professor Sebastian Loth, have developed a groundbreaking quantum microscope that can record the movement of electrons at the atomic level with incredibly high spatial and temporal resolution. This new method could significantly advance the way scientists develop materials. Their findings have been published in the journal Nature Physics. “With our new method, we can see things that no one has ever seen before,” says Prof. Loth, the Managing Director of the Institute for Functional Matter and Quantum Technologies at the University of Stuttgart. “This allows us to answer questions about electron movements...

Those of us who have studied modern assassinations, including those of President John F. Kennedy and the civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., hoped the government had learned a lesson from its dismal public responses. The government’s repeated failure to address what it knew quickly fed suspicions that the silence itself was evidence of a conspiracy. The federal government sealed files for decades and refused to disclose information — often to protect the reputation of agencies and their officials — which only added fuel to conspiracy theories. In the wake of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, we are seeing that...

A study involving the University of Otago, Christchurch, has uncovered a significant connection between low vitamin C levels and increased body weight, raising concerns amid the global rise in obesity. Published in the journal Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, the research indicates that heavier individuals need a higher intake of vitamin C to stay healthy, a need not currently met by existing guidelines. Lead researcher Professor Anitra Carr, who directs the Nutrition in Medicine Research Group at Otago’s Christchurch campus, highlights the insufficiency of current vitamin C recommendations. “Our data suggests current vitamin C recommended daily allowances internationally...
