We Failed the Freedom TestThe remedy is worse than the disease.-Francis BaconThe government never cedes power willingly.Neither should we.If the Covid-19 debacle taught us one thing it is that, as Justice Neil Gorsuch acknowledged, “Rule by indefinite emergency edict risks leaving all of us with a shell of a democracy and civil liberties just as hollow.”Unfortunately, we still haven’t learned. We’re still allowing ourselves to be fully distracted by circus politics and a constant barrage of bad news screaming for attention.Four years after the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, which gave world governments (including our own) a convenient excuse for expanding...

Subtitle: A Canadian judge has ordered an injunction from a father to be lifted so that his 27-year-old autistic daughter can be permitted to undergo a doctor-assisted suicide. On March 14, I reported on the story of a 27-year-old Albertan woman with autism who had been approved for euthanasia in December; she was planning to receive a lethal injection on February 1 when her father, whom she lives with, successfully obtained a temporary court injunction the day prior. Her father argued that her autism and “possibly other undiagnosed maladies do not satisfy the eligibility criteria for MAiD [Medical Assistance in...

Independent journalist Lara Logan’s report on the “accident” is very different from the reports in the mainstream media. Here’s what Logan had to say about the cargo ship’s “accident” with the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore:Multiple intel sources: The Baltimore bridge collapse was an “absolutely brilliant strategic attack” on US critical infrastructure – most likely cyber – & our intel agencies know it. In information warfare terms, they just divided the US along the Mason-Dixon line, exactly like the Civil War.The second busiest strategic roadway in the nation for hazardous material is now down for 4-5 years – which is...

NOTICE: Video might be NSFW. Synopsis: Russia 1 (Russian state television) panel discusses the Crocus City Hall attack and shows video of the attack on Russian television. Much of this video has not been shown on any Western media that I've seen. Also, indications that the fire escape doors in the theatre were locked to prevent anyone from escaping the massacre. The anti-Ukraine narrative is a given here.

Tuesday on FNC’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity’s monologue focused on President Joe Biden’s reaction to the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore. Hannity criticized Biden for making the tragedy about him in his remarks regarding the incident. Partial transcript as follows: But we start with Joe Biden himself. Now, before the president and vice president departed on separate planes for an event in North Carolina — well, Joe did try to offer some brief remarks on the tragic bridge collapse that took place in Baltimore. Here is the sad and pathetic part, as per usual, Biden made it all...

Forensic Analysis of the JFK Autopsy X-Rays in the National Archives Prove Scientifically JFK Took Three Shots to the Head: Two from the Front and One at a Low Angle From the Rear In 2015, when Michael Chesser, M.D. visited the National Archives, he paid particular attention to the fragment trail near the forehead on the two lateral JFK autopsy skull X-ray films. I [David Mantik] had previously noted the presence of metallic debris at that site in my survey of all metal on the extant films at the Archives. (See Figure 3.9.) As seen in Figure 3.4, Chesser identified...

NEW YORK (AP) — Former President Donald Trump is now selling Bibles as he runs to return to the White House. Trump, who became the presumptive Republican nominee earlier this month, released a video on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday urging his supporters to buy the “God Bless the USA Bible,” which is inspired by country singer Lee Greenwood’s patriotic ballad. Trump takes the stage to the song at each of his rallies and has appeared with Greenwood at events. “Happy Holy Week! Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you...

“We don’t want no two states! We want all of ’48!” Stanford students chanted last week, a call for genocide against Israeli Jews and the establishment of a single Muslim state from the river to the sea, as they say. That's according to Theo Baker, a Stanford sophomore whose exposé on antisemitism for The Atlantic is one of this week's must-read pieces. A subscription to either The Atlantic or Apple News+ is required, but if you were thinking of burning an email address for a free trial to read just one paywalled article this week, this might be the one.Calling for...

Synopsis of the key point: Russian FSB (KGB) agents were present at the Crocus City Hall during the terrorist attack. Possibly multiple FSB agents were present during the attack with some giving directions to civilians that possibly increased the death toll.

Secretary General Antonio Guterres has declared reparations are due now to compensate for the trans-Atlantic slave trade as a way to tackle “its legacy” in today’s society, including “systemic racism and white supremacy.” In a statement to mark the U.N. International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery, Guterres said the past “laid the foundations for a violent discrimination system based on white supremacy.” “We call for reparatory justice frameworks to help overcome generations of exclusion and discrimination,” Guterres said.

Daily Readings from the USCCBOne of the Twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” They paid him thirty pieces of silver, and from that time on he looked for an opportunity to hand him over. Matthew 26:14–16The desire for money can become a powerful incentive to betray our Lord. In this Gospel passage, it seems clear that Judas’ betrayal was based on his desire for money. He most likely had some level of faith in our Lord, or he wouldn’t...

Tesla and China built a symbiotic relationship, with credits, workers and parts that made Mr. Musk ultrarich. Now, his reliance on the country may give Beijing leverage. When Elon Musk unveiled the first Chinese-made Teslas in Shanghai in 2020, he went off script and started dancing. Peeling off his jacket, he flung it across the stage in a partial striptease. Mr. Musk had reason to celebrate. A few years earlier, with Tesla on the brink of failure, he had bet on China, which offered cheap parts and capable workers — and which needed Tesla as an anchor to jump-start its...

In its Tuesday meeting, Santa Monica City Council unanimously approved a motion to explore possible ways of compensating the descendants of a Black entrepreneur whose hopes were crushed almost 70 years ago when eminent domain seized his property. Silas White had big ideas in 1957. This was to open a Black beach club at 1811 Ocean Avenue where members could lounge in the main entrance’s bar, enjoy jazz music or take a swim in a crystal-clear pool. Further plans included an arts and entertainment venue where “Black residents could indulge in the ‘social enjoyment, recreation, and entertainment’ that they were...

The New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association has warned city council members to skip slain Officer Jonathan Diller’s funeral this weekend – and accused them of being complicit in his death through their “twisted ideology” on policing. SBA President Vincent J. Vallelong wrote Wednesday that city council members who show up to the Saturday morning service would “shed a few crocodile tears” and use the event as a “good photo opportunity.” “The Council members who are vehemently and inexplicably against public safety are responsible for the carnage in the streets and the heartbreak brought about by PO Diller’s completely avoidable...
