The New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association has warned city council members to skip slain Officer Jonathan Diller’s funeral this weekend – and accused them of being complicit in his death through their “twisted ideology” on policing.
SBA President Vincent J. Vallelong wrote Wednesday that city council members who show up to the Saturday morning service would “shed a few crocodile tears” and use the event as a “good photo opportunity.”
“The Council members who are vehemently and inexplicably against public safety are responsible for the carnage in the streets and the heartbreak brought about by PO Diller’s completely avoidable death,” Vallelong insisted.
Diller, 31, was allegedly shot in the stomach by career criminal Guy Rivera, 34, during a traffic stop in Queens on Monday evening.

NYC cops should strike. So should the firemen.
Can you imagine? I picture corpses piled up like garbage bags during a garbage strike.
Officer Diller had a wife and 1 year old child.
Does his family want the pols there?
If not, they should say so.
That would have more weight.
How long till the SHTF? But cops and fire crew dutifully show up and still do the bidding of these low-life politicians.
Any public safety officer at this point needs to look in the mirror and acknowledge their complicity in the machine.
The libertarians on this site have been telling you for years that the cops are not your friends. A few more of you are starting to wake up to that.
With that said, the PoS that shot the cop would not have been out free in a sane society.
Almost every day now I hear a story about a crime being committed in NYC by somebody that was in jail but got let go for no good reason.
This is all a result of what’s referred to as “bail reform”.
The left are masters at changing the name of what some nefarious program really is......that doesn’t change the fact that
its killing people......and the dispicable part is, they’re never held accountable.

The City Council puts police officers in life -threatening situations over and over, yet also want to attend the funeral to remember and honor a slain police officer? They can all rot in hell. Maybe someone will shove them in front of a bus or under a subway train. Not wishing that mind you..... but the poetic justice would be overwhelming.
