HELSINKI (AP) – Ex-Prime Minister Alexander Stubb is projected to win Finland’s presidential election runoff on Sunday against former Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto. Finnish public broadcaster YLE projected that center-right candidate Stubb of the conservative National Coalition Party wins the Finnish presidency with 51.4% of the votes, while independent candidate Haavisto from the green left will get 48.6% of the votes.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón faced tough questioning during a district attorney debate over his policies on gang-related crime enhancements, including from a mother whose child was killed by a gang member. An animated reboot of Barney is in the works, according to Mattel, and is set to arrive sometime in 2024. The reboot of Barney & Friends, the famous 1990s children’s television franchise featuring the titular purple dinosaur, will be produced by Mattel Television and Corus Entertainment.
