Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. may be considering a run for the Libertarian Party presidential nomination following a recent CNN interview conducted over the weekend. Speaking with CNN anchor Michael Smerconish on Saturday afternoon, Kennedy was asked if he would consider seeking the Libertarian Party nomination. “Is it possible that you will seek still to be the Libertarian candidate, which would assure you getting on all 50 state ballots?” Smerconish said. “That is something that we’re looking at,” Kennedy responded. “We have a really good, relationship with the Libertarian Party. I’m going to be speaking at the California...

Iranian sources to @AJArabic: “The US sent more than one message to Tehran over the past two days via third parties. Washington's messages said that it did not want an open war and warned that expanding the war would be met with the US action. Tehran rejected Washington's threats and said targeting its territory is a red line, and crossing the line would be met with an appropriate response. Tehran's message said that it does not want a war with Washington either, but it will forcefully confront any American adventure.”

Empower Oversight says power grab would be unconstitutional, usurping powers on Congress and infringing 2nd Amendment. The whistleblower group that represented the IRS agents in the Hunter Biden case is warning that the Biden administration is preparing an “unconstitutional“ power grab to regulate private gun sales by requiring a background check. In a letter Wednesday to Attorney General Merrick Garland, Empower Oversight said it had learned from two sources that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was directed by the White House to make the change and “has drafted a 1,300-page document in support of a rule that...

The NFL has announced that for the fourth year in a row, the so-called black national anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” will be performed at the Super Bowl. It appears we’ve come full circle since the 2004 Democratic National Convention when then-Illinois State Sen. Barack Obama said: “Yet even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us … there’s not a liberal America and a conservative America — there’s the United States of America. There’s not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America; there’s the United States of America. …...

Twenty-seven states and Washington, D.C., have banned efforts to change sexual orientation, commonly but mistakenly referred to as “conversion therapy,” for minors on the premise that therapies seeking to mitigate or resolve unwanted same-sex attraction are inherently harmful and increase the risk of suicide. Father Paul Sullins, a Roman Catholic priest, senior research associate at The Ruth Institute, and former sociology professor at Catholic University, found that the opposite is true, however. Not only is there no evidence that efforts to change sexual orientation, which Sullins refers to by the acronym SOCE, increase the risk of suicide among those who...

Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams’ nonprofit, Fair Fight, is laying off the majority of its staff, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Fair Fight, a group Abrams founded to combat alleged voter suppression in Georgia, will be laying off 75% of its staff and significantly narrowing its scope of operations, the AJC reported. The organization holds $2.5 million in debt but only has $1.9 million in cash, according to the AJC. Salena Jegede, chair of the organization’s board, said that it faces a “serious funding deficit that makes our current trajectory unsustainable.” Finances haven’t always been an issue for Abrams’...

Residents of Lilliput, one of the islands of “Gulliver’s Travels,” dubbed Gulliver “man-mountain.” In the plight for his freedom, “said man-mountain” promised to, “be aiding and assisting to our workmen, in helping to raise certain great stones.” Perhaps a figurative stone is the weight of the political moderates. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) the senator, as opposed to John Fetterman the candidate, seems to be doing this in a Sen. Joe Manchin-esque (D-W.Va.) manner. We might want to start calling the 6-foot-8 Fetterman man-Manchin. Capturing the politically murky middle is a difficult task, particularly in a journalistic environment where extremes get clicks....

t takes a kind of malignant genius to destroy California, but the state’s ruling elites are well on their way to assure its decline. If the downward spiral continues, it will stand as a testament to the insane variety of progressive policies that have driven middle and working class people, as well as numerous companies, out of the state. No place on earth came into this century with more going for it than California. It is a naturally beautiful state, home to some of the world’s mildest climates, enormously fertile both in its land and its people. It has long...

Early Wednesday, the suspect was charged with murder in the first degree, abuse of a corpse and possession of an instrument of crime with intent. Vigilance is necessary this time around to insure a free and fair election and to keep the cement of fundamental transformation from hardening into unbreakable rock. It should be painfully obvious to everyone by now that we are living in the fast-hardening cement of what Barack Obama promised to wildly cheering crowds on the campaign trail in 2008—”a fundamental transformation of America.” Anyone who can remember back to the decades before the Obama presidency will recall a country committed to fairness and common sense: judging a person based on the content of their character rather than the color of their...
