An alleged stalker from Seattle was arrested outside Taylor Swift’s home on Monday – just two days after he was detained while loitering near the mega-pop star’s Big Apple residence, police and law enforcement sources said. The suspect, identified as David Crowe, was sporting an unkempt beard and long brown hair while wandering around the “Shake It Off” singer’s home and inquiring with people whether Swift lives there, sources told The Post. A member of Swift’s security team notified police officers who were patrolling the area, according to sources and the NYPD.

A town in Arizona formed a department to allegedly monitor and control the online speech of its employees, AZ Free News reported Thursday. The town of Gilbert, located within Phoenix's metropolitan area, created the Office of Digital Government, which some claim is being used to restrict the speech of the town's employees. According to KTVK, the ODG was formed five years ago. The department, which may be the first of its kind, is committed to "developing forward-thinking policies." It is responsible for "all internal, external and digital communications, public relations, marketing and open data initiatives" for the town, according to...

One of the best things about National School Choice Week (celebrated this year from January 21–27) is watching people take advantage of the growing range of options that allow them to opt out of public schools, often while taking per-student funding with them to pay for preferred alternatives. From panicked supporters of government schools to relieved parents and joyful choice advocates, the shift in education is showing up across American society. Where Are the Public-School Students? "Fresh from the academic struggles that followed the pandemic, and with federal relief funds soon to run out, [public school district leaders] now confront...

"Vatican II and the new liturgy have invented a new magisterial mode: dogmatic regression": Interview with Claude BartheOn the occasion of the revised and expanded reissue of his book "Trouver-t-il encore la foi sur terre [Will He still find faith on earth?]," we interviewed Abbé Claude Barthe.Michel Janva: The title of your book is a quotation from the Gospel. In view of the current evolution of the Catholic religion (growth in Africa and Asia, decline in Europe...), is it possible that it could disappear in Western Europe, and therefore in Rome, just as it was practically eliminated from North Africa...

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s campaign is urging supporters in a new memo to “take a deep breath” amid New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary, assuring “we aren’t going anywhere” as Haley goes head-to-head with former President Trump in the Granite State. “The political class and the media want to give Donald Trump a coronation. They say the race is over,” Haley’s campaign manager, Betsy Ankney, wrote in the memo. She noted Trump’s win in last week’s Iowa caucuses, where Haley came in a distant third place — but highlighted that only 110,000 Iowans had weighed in on the contest. “That isn’t...

Donald Trump paraded a string of defeated opponents-turned-endorsers in a final raucous show of strength Monday night ahead of the New Hampshire primary. The presence of former rivals on stage has been a key part of Trump's closing strategy as he looks to crush his last remaining opponent in record time. 'Now is the time for the Republican Party to come together,' said Trump as he introduced his new allies on stage. 'We have to unify. That's why I'm delighted to be joined today by a number of outstanding leaders, big leaders, powerful leaders, greatly respected leaders.'

Police are investigating a "massive illegal fireworks show" that lit up the night sky over downtown Los Angeles late Sunday. Reports of the nonstop fireworks first started coming in at around 10:45 p.m., with dozens of social media users posting videos questioning the incident. The display woke up hundreds of people living around the area, many of whom said that their doors and windows were shaking as the powerful explosives continued. DTLA Little Tokyo, 20 minutes ago, I don’t think these fireworks were planned. Also saw a drone. Then a helicopter flying over with a spotlight minutes later. pic.twitter.com/4x9tmILZjW —...

Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan says, "We now know the federal government flagged terms like “MAGA” and “TRUMP,” to financial institutions if Americans completed transactions using those terms. "What was also flagged? If you bought a religious text, like a BIBLE, or shopped at Bass Pro Shop." https://x.com/Jim_Jordan/status/1747718053365010737?s=20 https://x.com/Jim_Jordan/status/1747718064374730900?s=20

Madonna donned a dodgy wig and flexed her muscles while wearing a skimpy red négligée during her sold-out Madison Square Garden concert in Manhattan on Monday - five days after two fans sued her for 'false advertising.' The 65-year-old Queen of Pop wore the scantily-clad costume to sing happy birthday to her daughter Chifundo 'Mercy' James Kambewa Ciccone, who turned 18 on Monday. While on tour, Michigan-born Madge has Mercy accompany her on piano for her 1992 track Bad Girl and her 18-year-old son David Banda Mwale Ciccone accompanies her on guitar for her 2003 track Mother and Father. Two years ago, YouTube star Luan Palomera paid $1.5 million for a chic vacation home in Palm Springs. Today, he’d be lucky to get $1 million for it. As L.A. continues its crackdown on Airbnb, city officials can turn toward the desert for an example — perhaps a cautionary tale — of the potential side effects of curbing the short-term rental market. In Palm Springs, a cap on short-term rentals in specific high-demand neighborhoods has all but frozen the market in those communities. Activists argue Airbnbs remove affordable housing from the market. Residents complain that the influx of tourists leads...

Sen Joni Ernst, a Republican from Iowa, told DailyMail.com: 'We cannot allow any batty experiments of pandemic potential to be unleashed on our own shores. 'Americans have suffered enough from Fauci-funded risky research, which is why I am working to defund EcoHealth that funneled taxpayer dollars to the Chinese state-run Wuhan Lab. 'The world cannot afford another lab leak, especially one on U.S. soil or near our military bases.' The facility will be built on the CSU's Foothill Campus campus in Fort Collins, which is around 60miles north of Denver and has a population of around 168,000.

The Great BetrayalIn the past few weeks we have received a great blessing: the demonstration that for a large section of the Catholic Church around the world Pope Francis has gone too far. All the indications until now were that there was no limit to the capacity of the faithful to accept this Pope’s paltering with Catholic truth; but we now see that the limit was there, and that with Fiducia Supplicans it has been overstepped. All the same, against this benefit there is a much greater evil: the state of the Church that made Francis think that he could...

Daily Readings from the USCCB“Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.” Mark 3:34–35Jesus said many things that caused people to pause and think. Today’s Gospel passage is one of those times. Just prior to the passage quoted above, Jesus was told that His mother and brothers were outside looking for Him. After hearing this, instead of going to greet them, He asked those around Him, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” Then He looked around and answered His own question with the above quoted Scripture....

ROME — U.S. President Joe Biden has doubled down on positions antithetical to his Catholic faith as he prepares to run for reelection. On January 22, as Catholics and other pro-lifers prayed for an end to abortion in America, President Biden called on Congress to pass a law imposing abortion-on-demand in all 50 states. “Congress must codify Roe v. Wade for all the states in America,” Biden said in a video message released on X (former Twitter).

After leaving the White House in January 2017, Barack Obama and his family set out to do what all newly retired presidents have done—go back home, or find a new one. In Obama’s case, though, the new residence is in Washington, D.C. At first, the Obamas presented their choice as temporary—they wanted to let their younger daughter, Sasha, finish high school in Washington, they said—but their purchase of an 8,200-square-foot, $8 million mansion suggests a permanent stay. Obama’s postpresidency is thus shaping up to be virtually unique in American history: rather than departing Washington, he is planting his flag there,...

In short, because they’re everywhere. The Fed knows that they’ve created the mother of all ticking time bombs and there’s only two options: let it explode in the most violent deflationary event since the Panic of 1907 or diffuse this monstrously large bomb by throwing it in an equally large liquidity bath.”

In what can only be described as an urgent alert to parents, families, and those who care about the importance of parental rights, Maine is in the process of trying to pass an extremist bill making the state a “sanctuary state” for so-called “transgender” minors whose parents are not handling their child’s mental health issues in a way the left approves. No one wants this catastrophe but that doesn’t stop those obsessed with control over our children. Maine’s LD 1735 bill, euphemistically-titled, “Act to Safeguard Gender Affirming Health Care,” is in reality a bill that is using children as an...
