At any given moment in the course of human events, not everyone can be the leader. And thus can the world only have a small number of “climate leaders” to light us the way to the Great Green Energy Nirvana of the future. Among that select group of “climate leaders,” New York is definitely one. We know that because New York enacted its Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act in 2018, announcing its “climate leadership” to the world for all to envy. But there are a handful of jurisdictions out there that are not to be outdone in the competition...

DES MOINES, Iowa — Most likely Republican Iowa caucusgoers say they’ll vote for former President Donald Trump in the general election if he’s the GOP nominee, regardless of the candidate they’re supporting on caucus night. That is, except supporters of former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, with nearly half of them — 43% — saying they’d vote for Democratic President Joe Biden over Trump.

In the frigid Midwest, Tesla owners are facing a harsh reality: their electric vehicles (EVs) are failing to charge in the extreme cold. This alarming situation raises serious concerns about the practicality of EVs and the government’s role in their promotion. As temperatures plummet, charging stations have turned into graveyards for abandoned EVs. One Tesla owner, Tyler Beard, spent six hours over two days attempting to charge his car, only to find it still at zero percent. This is not an isolated...

Two horrific crimes against pregnant women in Greece have led to calls for femicide to be recognized as a specific criminal act. In the first case, a 41-year-old woman who was three months pregnant was murdered by her partner and his friend. The woman, who local media reports have identified as Georgia, had gone missing from Thessaloniki on New Year’s Day, and her body was found days later in a remote area of Halkidiki in northern Greece. According to one of the perpetrators, the two men waited for the woman to arrive at her partner’s apartment, where they ambushed her....

America’s decline is not irreversible. Media coverage of world events focuses on one crisis at a time, as if each was a separate phenomenon. But Ukraine, the Israel-Hamas war, the assaults on shipping in the Red Sea, China’s threats on Tawain, the closing of the Red Sea by Yemen’s Houthis, and even Venezuelan plans to conquer much of oil-rich Guyana are not separate events, but highly related. All follow patterns laid out in Samuel Huntington’s 2011 book, The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order which predicted the rise of “revanchist” powers seeking to recover perceived past glory....

The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) appears to have completely lost its way with its recent release of a pharmacists’ toolkit aimed at killing developing children. Earlier this week, the association, which bills itself as the national voice for the practice of pharmacy in Canada, enthusiastically posted on social media links to learning videos and pamphlets aimed at killing the youngest members of the human family. “Micro-learning videos on medication abortion to support pharmacists are available,” the January 8 post stated. “These 5 videos provide all the information you need to know as you dispense the medications to end a pregnancy...

With shockingly little data, questionable benefits and a high likelihood of adverse events, the continuing campaign for COVID-19 shots raises many red flags The documentary “The Unseen Crisis,” detailed by investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson, scratches the surface of the many lives ruined by COVID-19 shots For every 1 million shots, an estimated 1,010 to 1,510 serious adverse reactions, such as death, life-threatening conditions, hospitalization or significant disability may occur — but only about 75 hospitalizations would be prevented among those aged 18 to 49 Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo has called for an end to the use of COVID-19...

Russia will develop ties with North Korea in all areas building on agreements between their leaders in September, the Kremlin said on Monday, as their foreign ministers were set to meet in Moscow. North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui arrived on Sunday on a rare visit to Moscow for talks with her counterpart Sergei Lavrov as the two countries deepen economic, political, and military ties, the North's state news agency KCNA said. As Russia's international isolation has grown over its war in Ukraine, analysts say Moscow has seen increasing value in its ties with North Korea. For North Korea's...

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is emerging as a runner-up in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, according to recent polls and interviews in Iowa. In an interview on NewsNation’s “On Balance,” host Leland Vittert posed a forward-looking question, asking if Haley, if nominated, would consider former President Donald Trump as her running mate. Haley responded, “I’m not going to think about who’s going to be my VP yet, but in six months, I’ll be happy to tell you.” Is Nikki Haley the top alternative candidate to Donald Trump? Haley’s team, which includes members from Florida Sen. Marco...

Big Abortion has long prepared for the day with less abortion providers, more healthcare regulation, fewer abortion facilities, and increased state restrictions. The abortion lobby has swapped abortion chemicals for abortion surgeries of the past. Abortion is now readily available to any woman no matter where she resides in the world or what her local law dictates. Who is having late chemical abortions? Women choosing chemicals to end their pregnancies...

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 (King James Version) A nuclear explosion opened and closed the Republican primary season in Iowa last night. The overwhelming win cannot be diminished as it ended all the election chatter about the Three Blind Mice having the slightest chance of winning against the MAGA movement. The only thing to watch now is when they throw in the towel in an attempt to save any political future whatsoever. President Trump is the most powerful political force in America since Ronald Magnus...

An early Soviet active measures campaign took on a life of its own and survived the collapse of the USSR. It provided the philosophical and strategic bases for a cultural Marxist revolution so profound that it penetrated the cores of the CIA and FBI. That is one of the startling findings of scholar J. Michael Waller in his new book, Big Intel: How the CIA and FBI Went from Cold War Heroes to Deep State Villains. Published today [January 16] by Regnery, Big Intel shows how the intelligence community failed to defend the United States against a decades-old Soviet covert...
