For the average person, being convicted of a felony means going to prison to serve a sentence. For “special” people like Jussie Smollett, with the backing of powerful Democrats like Michelle Obama, convictions mean freedom through the appeal process so he could direct a movie and hang out with Hollywood’s top wokesters. Now, it appears Smollett may serve the remainder of his tiny 150-day sentence for sparking race wars through his infamous hate hoax. The important word there is “may.” According to TMZ, losing his appeal does not necessarily mean he’s going to jail like normal people. Jussie Smollett just...

Nearly 4,000 car dealerships are begging Joe Biden to pull back on the “unrealistic” EV mandates. The EVs are piling up on lots and carmakers are losing billions of dollars. A group of 3,882 dealers sent President Biden a letter begging him to lighten future EV sales requirements. EVs are not ready for the average buyer and may not be for some time. It’s amazing that Biden’s advisors didn’t see that before demanding the regulations. In the letter dated November 28th, 2023, dealers say that while BEVs are ideal for many people, “demand today is not keeping up with the...

The latest offering from Buick is the 2024 Envista, a stylish and roomy alternative to traditional boxy SUVs that offers a swoopier roofline much like more expensive alternatives from upscale German brands. With its sleek profile, seating for five and the practicality of a hatchback design, the subcompact Envista also happens to be Buick’s cheapest model for the 2024 model year — even though it’s about a foot longer than Buick’s other subcompact SUV, the boxier Encore GX. What you don’t get, however, are the availability of all-wheel drive or any powertrain options other than the standard turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder...

Foul Powell on the Prowl! Despite Powell’s confusing messaging on inflation, the market is pricing in an 80% chance of a rate cut in March 2024. The Fed’s dots plot shows the same thing: Fed target rate falling like a paralyzed falcon. As gold soars to an all-time high. The difference between California governor Gavin “Toothsome” Newsom and Leave it to Beaver’s Eddie Haskell is that Eddie Haskell was more sincere.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, one of the most immediate consequences was also one of the most severe: a spike in hunger. Those who lost jobs had less money to buy food. Supply chain disruptions led to empty store shelves. With fewer transportation options, even simple things like traveling back and forth to the grocery store became a lot harder. Suddenly, millions of additional families were having a much more difficult time putting food on the table.

Normally, revisions to depositions and transcribed interviews involve fixing typographical errors. Cassidy Hutchinson made major changes to her earlier Jan. 6 committee testimony that legal experts say is "entirely new testimony." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Three months after she testified as the Democrats' star witness at the Jan. 6 congressional hearings, former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson submitted significant changes to statements and information she had provided in transcribed interviews with the U.S. House of Representatives dating to February 2022, according to an errata sheet reviewed by Just the News that was kept from the American public. The 15-page-long errata sheet, uncovered...

Russia has long touted itself as a country home to what President Vladimir Putin often calls “traditional family values”. The Federal Assembly has cracked down on the LGBTQ community, passing legislation outlawing gender-affirming surgeries and banning “gay propaganda”. Now social conservatives have a new target: reproductive rights. Terminating a pregnancy is a legal and widely available procedure in Russia, but in recent weeks and months, a flurry of new laws appear to limit abortion access amid fears of further population declines and a push towards conservatism. In August and November, two Russian regions – Mordovia and Tver – passed laws...

Many believers are still shocked and dismayed. Why did abortion score so many election victories? The answer is clear. Christians voted for abortion. These laws could not have passed without their vote. Why would anyone who claims to follow Jesus vote to kill babies? And make no mistake: That is exactly what they did. A fetus is a person—a person over whom God watched while He made them. Americans Know the Abortion Epidemic Is Evil “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully...

According to a tidbit from Politico Playbook, Ryan made a pitch for Haley to Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), chairman of the Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party, over text during a flight to D.C. According to the outlet, which reviewed photographs of the text messages, Ryan wrote, “I think now is the time for a guy like you to endorse.” The Fox News board member has long stood as an opponent of Trump, predicting in October 2022 that Trump would not be the Republican nominee in 2024. “Trump’s unelectability will be...

Former Senator John Kerry, climate envoy for the Biden administration, scolded the world for not making enough sacrifices to fight climate change at the COP28 climate conference in Dubai on Wednesday. “There’s too much business as usual still. We have got to bring people to the table who are not yet there. And we will make progress in that,” Kerry said. “Not everybody is doing what they promised to do. And needless to say, that’s a problem and we need to have accountability at this COP, for that lack of follow-through by some,” he lectured.

White House spokespeople Karine Jean-Pierre and Andrew Bates violated the Hatch Act when they had been warned against using the word 'MAGA' to describe certain Republicans, a government watchdog agency said on Friday. The independent Office of Special Counsel said the two took actions 'contrary' to official guidance on the law when they slammed 'MAGA' Republicans' budget plan this year. In their letter, first reported by NBC News, the office notes the violations came days after Jean-Pierre was warned she had violated the law intended to prevent federal employees from using their offices to influence elections....

In recent years, James Merritt, former Southern Baptist Convention President and current pastor of Crosse Pointe Church in Duluth, GA, has personally involved himself in several efforts to advance leftist causes in the SBC. At the 2021 convention, Merritt used his position on the resolutions committee to promote resolutions that allowed Critical Race Theory to continue to creep into the SBC on a national level. Merritt even went so far as to claim that opposition to CRT in the convention was responsible for the failure to reach people with the Gospel, stating, “If you would focus on the gospel and...
