San Antonio is at the center of an astronomical event taking place on Saturday, October 14. The annular eclipse, often referred to as the “Ring of Fire,” takes about an hour and a half, as it goes from the partial phase, followed by a mesmerizing four-minute display of the sun forming a radiant ring, to being surrounded by darkness. The burning star will transform into a thin ring of fire at 11:52...

After an election campaign of fits and starts, in which neither major party appeared to offer much solace to a weary nation, voters in New Zealand on Saturday ousted the party once led by Jacinda Ardern and elected the country’s most right-wing government in a generation, handing victory to a coalition of two conservative parties. Footage came out of the National Guard cutting razor wire to help illegal immigrants enter the country. "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. "And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints." For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God." All across the West, there is no shortage of people blaming the horrors in Israel on Israel itself — and openly supporting the perpetrators. The head of policy at the Community Security Trust, which monitors hate crimes committed against British Jews, has said: 'Anti-Semites are getting excited by the sight of dead Jews . . . Hamas murdering Israeli civilians has exhilarated them . . . We've had reports of people driving past synagogues shouting 'Kill the Jews'.' Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) condemned Israel's vow to blockade Gaza until the hostages taken in Hamas' terror attack are freed, calling it "a war crime. Targeting civilians is a violation of the Geneva Conventions of 1949. I know that the Hamas attack targeted unarmed men, women, and children, but since when do two wrongs make a right?" Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich) condemned Israel's "cruel occupation of Palestine for the massacre of unarmed Jews. The juxtaposition of prosperity on one side of the wall between Israel and Gaza and poverty on the other is dehumanizing. It is not surprising that Palestine's...
