It seems like President Donald Trump is showing up everywhere these days, and that's understandable, given the current GOP primary campaign cycle and the former President's ongoing legal battles. A tenth bus of illegals sent by Texas Governor Greg Abbott from the southern border arrived in Los Angeles Saturday, much to the chagrin of local officials. Abbott began sending the busses in June to ease the burden on overwhelmed border communities and also to send a message to President Biden and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas that their immigration policies are an abject failure. Democrats consider trips such as these and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ famous flights of illegals to the bluest island in the world—Martha’s Vineyard—as "stunts." They’ve even opened investigations to probe whether these acts constitute...

Democrats thought releasing the mugshot of former President Trump would hurt him in the polls. However, it only strengthened his chances of securing the GOP presidential nominee. "Thank you, Fani," Alina Habba, attorney and legal spokesman for Trump, said. During an interview with Newsmax, Habba condemned Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis's attempts to persecute Trump politically over his alleged attempt to turn over the 2020 election. The Trump attorney said Willis's decision to release the former president's mugshot was a "power play that got reversed on her." "They didn't need the mug shot," Habba said. "It was, I guess...

Matthew 23:1-12 Friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus turns his sharp eye and withering critique on the many ways that religious leaders fall into corruption. What precisely is bothering Jesus? Some religious leaders get their kicks from burdening people, making demands that are terrible, exulting in their own moral superiority. At the core of Jesus’ program is a willingness to bear other people’s burdens, to help them carry their loads. And this applies to the moral life as well. If we lay the burden of God’s law on people, we must be willing, at the same time, to help them bear it.Another...

The Chinese government seeks strategic advantage in space through attacks on the Western private sector. People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force officers Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui Wang argued in their 1999 book, “Unrestricted Warfare,” that to win a war with the United States, China must mass its intelligence, economic, and political resources where U.S. defenses were weakest: its private sector. The book today reads like a plan for the past two decades of non-military warfare waged against the Western private sector by Beijing and its business surrogates. The U.S. government and its allies have recently shown increasing concern about...

A July 2023 study touted a 13.4 percent return on investment for healthcare stocks, when returns on T-bills and I-bonds were 3.96 percent and 4.3 percent respectively. According to one analyst, “Whether you're seeking dividends or explosive growth, the economy's most reliable sector [healthcare] has something for you.” For private investors, both individual and corporate, the first goal is always financial. When politicians expend taxpayer dollars, i.e., investing our money, it is presumably to create a better life for Americans. 1. What are politicians’ goals when investing, specifically in healthcare? 2. How does investing in healthcare, private or public, affect...

@LindseyGrahamSC Just returned from a very successful and important visit to Ukraine with Senators Blumenthal and Warren. Eighteen months after the invasion, Ukraine is on the offense recapturing land that was illegally seized by Russia, NATO has increased in size, the Russian economy is in decline, the Russian military is being decimated, and Putin is facing an international arrest warrant for war crimes involving children. It is imperative that America continues to support Ukraine’s military. Specifically, the need for long range artillery - ATACMS - is urgent. America should also take over the F-16 transfer program to speed things up....

I thought it was just me with this suspicion but from comments below the videos of the "WW2 Stories" channel on YouTube, I see others are having the same thought. Namely that the supposed diaries, mostly from German soldiers, being read never existed and are entirely generated by AI. One reason for this suspicion is we never see NAMES attached to the diaries. I mean, I would like to do some research to at least put a face to the person writing the diaries but no such luck. Also all the diaries sound like they were written by the same...

If only Harrison Floyd’s first name were George. If only he’d been a convicted felon who passed a counterfeit bill, filled himself with illegal drugs, and resisted arrest. If that were the case, he’d have had millions of dollars flowing to him from Hollywood and Democrat politicians, and he’d have been a media hero. However, Harrison Floyd isn’t a thug of color. Instead, he’s a retired Marine vet, living with his family and getting by on his pension. And he’s also a black Trump supporter, which is why he’s rotting in a Fulton County jail. One of the important things...

Curt and Debbie Havens’ ranch style home is the gathering place for their family. Their two boys grew up playing in the streets in this quiet neighborhood in West Virginia’s northern panhandle.
