We are in the midst of one of the most radical revolutions in American history. It is as far-reaching and dangerous as the turbulent years of the 1850s and 1860s or the 1930s. Every aspect of American life and culture is under assault, including the very processes by which we govern ourselves, and the manner in which we live. The Revolution began under the Obama administration that sought to divide Americans into oppressed and oppressors, and then substitute race for class victimization. It was empowered by the bicoastal wealth accrued from globalization, and honed during the COVID lockdown, quarantine-fed economic...

This world contains many elements of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it isn’t. In this world, one’s God-given rights is like an automobile, and wealth is like the gasoline for the automobile. But while the world operates in only two dimensions and doesn’t realize one is missing in its understanding, God is at work in three. Before Covid and the internet further undermined human relationships in real life, there was cable. Social media on the internet is probably the closest thing to direct democracy on a large scale that the world has seen thus far. Above all, politics should serve...

The board of the Massachusetts Teacher Association has voted unanimously to back a ballot question eliminating the state’s MCAS exam graduation requirement, kicking off the next step in the prominent campaign. The union has long been an outspoken opponent of the test. In their statement, the president and vice president argued the exam “has not only failed to close learning gaps that have persisted along racial and economic lines, but the standardized tests have exacerbated the disparities among our student populations.” However, the union emphasized, the ballot question would not end the test, just the graduation requirement. Opponents of the...

I think there is a launch in a few minutes out of Vandenberg. If you're in the west coast/southwest, look to your west, southwest at 8:57, low on the horizon. Give it a minute or two to reach altitude so you can see it. It should be seen as far away as Las Vegas, Phoenix etc.. If they scrub the launch, scrub the thread.

The Seattle-based Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) removed all mention of JK Rowling from their “Harry Potter” exhibit after calling her a “cold, heartless, joy-sucking entity,” according to a blog post that was posted in May. Project manager Chris Moore, who is transgender, authored the piece and claimed that they would “love to go with the internet’s theory that these books were actually written without an author.” “But this certain person is a bit too vocal with her super hateful and divisive views to be ignored,” continued the post. “For the time being, the curators decided to remove any of...

David Rody, a prosecutor working with special counsel Jack Smith on the Trump indictment, is also a donor to Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and the Democratic National Committee. Rody is not a grassroots donor who gave $10 or $25 here and there, he donated thousands of dollars, meaning that he is obviously a partisan. These people are abusing our legal system for political reasons and it’s so obvious. A prosecutor working on special counsel Jack Smith’s cases against former President Donald Trump has donated thousands of dollars to Democrats and to elect Joe Biden as president, according to...

August 7 is Assyrian Martyrs’ Day, in remembrance of the Simele Massacre that began this date in 1933. A Mesopotamian Christian people* whom the past century has hard pressed, Assyrians were in the post-World War I aftermath of the Ottoman Empire angling for some form of a self-governing enclave in the British Mandate, and were highly alarmed at being consigned to the tender mercies of an independent Iraq after 1932. The Assyrian Nation which is temporarily living in Iraq, having placed before their eyes the dark future, and the miserable conditions which are undoubtedly awaiting them in Iraq, after the...

Joy Behar is a multimillionaire TV host, so it should come as no surprise that she remains oblivious to the plight of everyday Americans burdened by the weight of rising prices, not only of food but also healthcare, housing and gas. Yet it was nevertheless astonishing to see Behar go on at some length about how Joe Biden should be more popular with the American people because of how great the economy is, in particular the stock market. Jimmy and The Convo Couch host Craig Jardula discuss how out of touch Behar clearly is and why the stock market's performance...

The situation in Niger US Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland visiting Niger. Nuland was active as a US State Department official during the 2014 coup in Ukraine that removed an elected pro-Russian government from power. That led to Russian annexation of Crimea and the fighting in eastern Ukraine that ended with Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022. "extremely frank and at times quite difficult" That is how Nuland characterized her talks with Niger's new leaders. A talking point in Mainstream Media tonight is that Nuland was not allowed to see Niger's ousted President Mohamed Bazoum. Nuland pushing for a transfer...

When Terence Hermiston thinks of his 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon, he recalls the hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars he spent rebuilding the cream-yellow jalopy during the pandemic. He harks back to his return to Canada and the U.S. after years abroad, and the feeling of adventure it rekindled as he rattled up and down the coast with his wife and young son in his “sailboat on wheels.” Produced for the U.S. market from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, Vanagons — the name evoking the room of a van and the feel of a station wagon — have...

Job interviews can be nerve-racking as many interviewees stress over how to best answer questions the employer throws at you. But, not every company asks tough questions. One boss revealed the “coffee cup” test he uses in job interviews to determine whether an applicant is right for the role. Former managing director for Xero Australia Trent Innes explained how he refuses to hire anyone if they fail to return an empty cup to the kitchen at the end of an interview. “I will always take you for a walk down to one of our kitchens and somehow you always end...

ESPN was bashed for an homage to US women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe shortly after the team was bounced from the World Cup. The sports network ran a three-minute segment narrated by Rapinoe’s fiancee, WNBA legend Sue Bird, on Sunday morning that paid tribute to the soccer star’s 20-year career. The tribute, titled “Unapologetically Rapinoe,” so soon after the two-time defending champs’ stunning defeat to Sweden in the the quarterfinals — in which Rapinoe missed a key penalty kick — didn’t sit well with Clay Travis, a sports journalist and founder of Outkick, a sports-focused news site. “Here’s how ESPN...
