Ziad Al-Nakhala, the leader of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, spoke with the families of those who were killed in IDF air strikes in the Gaza Strip last week, including senior commanders of the Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front and the Mujahideen Brigades organizations. Al-Nakhala noted that “the blood of the shaheeds will continue to be the fuel of the Palestinian resistance against Zionist terrorism", and added that it strengthens the determination "to continue on the path of jihad and fighting until the liberation of Palestine and the return of the refugees." Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Mudallal, a member of the political...

ormer President Donald Trump is continuing to dominate the hypothetical Republican primary field, leading with majority support as Gov. Ron DeSantis drops into the teens, an I&I/TIPP survey found. The survey, taken May 3-5, 2023, among 469 Republicans and Republican-leaners, found Trump growing in support over the past month. He jumped eight points, going from 47 percent support in April to 55 percent in May. No other potential challenger comes remotely close, as DeSantis has just 17 percent support. That reflects a six-point drop from the 23 percent who supported the governor in April. In other words, Trump’s gap has...

IN STATE AFTER STATE… Democrats Are Running as Republicans to Get into Office – They Even Have a Name for It – They Call it “Secret Sleepers”- Gateway Pundit 08/10/22. It was the Gateway Pundit that got my curiosity up and was exactly in line with this GUT feeling I was having. Also echoing in my ears, the words from a friend who attends a lot of Sangamon County Republican Fundraisers, He said to me: “why are there all these Big Democratic Union Bosses at the fundraisers I go to?” Well, I attended the Annual Lincoln Day dinner on May...

“Florida law is that you have to be here legally to be able to be employed. That’s been the law for forever, and so when we have something like E-Verify, that’s a tool to make sure that longstanding Florida law is enforced,” he said, referencing the legislation he signed last week. “You can’t build a strong economy based on illegality,” he said, noting that in addition to President Biden’s open border policies, there are essentially incentives for individuals to come into the country illegally.

Last fall, the U.S. National Park Service sent out a message on Facebook asking visitors to “refrain from licking” the toad (technically Incilius alvarius but commonly called Bufo alvarius). That message came months after a New York Times article covered the booming interest in the psychedelic compound that the toad excretes from its skin — along with the “poaching, over-harvesting and illegal trafficking” that have accompanied that interest. They “work orally, through the mucous membranes, and cause really dangerous side effects, like cardiac arrest,”

CNN suffered a humiliating ratings slump during Friday night's prime time spot as it was beaten by fledgling rival Newsmax for the first time. The cable channel was trounced by the conservative station in every slot from 8pm to 11pm. Star anchor Anderson Cooper mustered just 447,000 viewers for his flagship 360 show - 20,000 less than Eric Bolling, formerly of Fox News. Cooper's new Friday night show at 9pm, The Whole Story With Anderson Cooper, fell even wider of the mark with 293,000 tuning in. That compares to 325,000 who watched Chris Plante, an ex-Pentagon Correspondent for CNN, on...

Character still matters in presidents and presidential candidates, Russell Moore said on NBC’s Meet the Press May 14. And the way evangelicals and other Republicans have glossed over the guilty verdict against Donald Trump in the abuse and defamation case won by E. Jean Carroll sends the wrong message to young people in churches today, the editor in chief of Christianity Today added.

It’s good to be a member of the Austin Homeless Industrial Complex. Not only do you get to rake off graft for luring drug-addicted transients to town, you also get to rake off graft to clean up the resulting mess. Item #23 on this week’s Austin City Council agenda allocates another $20 million to the Homeless Industrial-Complex to clean up dozens of dangerous homeless encampments around the city. Item 23 (link) says it’s critical for these camps to get cleaned up, since they pose “a great degree of health, safety, and fire risks.” Austin Water also needs cleanup services on...

Russia’s aerial attack on the Ukrainian city of Khmelnytskyi is catching quite a bit of attention because of reports of a spike in Gamma rays following multiple, massive explosions. Educated speculation believes that the increase in Gamma radiation may be a consequence of Russian bombs blasting British supplied depleted uranium rounds into dust. The photo above shows the intact weapons storage facility just outside Khmelnytskyi taken some time before the Russia strike. Khmelnytskyi sits 217 miles to the west of Kiev, which means these strikes were most likely carried out by cruise missiles, such as the Kinzhal or Iskander. These...

Jason Miller, longtime adviser to former President Donald Trump, spoke to "John Bachman Now" on Newsmax about Gov. Ron DeSantis' chances against Trump and the much-talked-about CNN town hall last week."Well clearly, Gov. DeSantis is running for president, but I don't see why," Miller said. "President Trump is ahead by 34 points, according to polling in Iowa, and so Gov. DeSantis is going to have a very tough headwind."The Florida governor, whose announcement that he's running for president is imminent, has warned about the GOP's "culture of losing.""When we talk about this culture of winning, I think President Trump is...

I grew up listening to baseball games on the radio. Fans “tuned in” to men with great storytelling skills whose voices sounded just right. Paired with the broadcasters — like a fine wine with dinner — was the stadium ambience: organ music, beer vendors, the crack of the bat. Now most everything is video. Turn on a television set today and graphics and stats of every kind bombard you. Even if you’re not paying attention you can instantly see the score. The screen is full of graphics showing you where exactly the ball went in the strike zone and how...

Vivek Murthy, the US surgeon general, recently warned that “being socially disconnected” has a similar effect on mortality as smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day. This statement was widely reported in the media, including in the Washington Post, the Times and the Daily Mail. But where does this “15 cigarettes a day” figure come from? Dr Murthy is referring to a study published in 2010 that explored social relationships and mortality rates. The researchers combined the data from 148 studies on the topic, in what is known as a “meta-analysis”, to arrive at a more robust statistical answer to...

Türkiye's secular opposition leader may have succeeded in forcing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan into his first-ever runoff, but his chances of winning on May 28 are remote. Kemal Kilicdaroglu was predicted to perform well in Sunday's (May 14) first round but ended up with just under 45 per cent while Erdogan fell fractionally short of the 50-per cent threshold required for an outright victory. His six-party alliance now needs to accomplish seemingly impossible electoral gymnastics to unseat Erdogan, who needs just a sliver of extra support to extend his two decades in power to 2028.

The president hates America. No? Then why is he, and his Democratic Party, systematically taking down this nation? Leaders who love their country don’t try to leave it on the ash heap of history. Konstantin Kisin, a Russian-British satirist, recently said on Bill Maher’s show that “people in other parts of the world are not teaching their young children to hate their own country.” Maher, a man of the left, agreed. “This country,” he said, “is better off than a lot of people who are native to it” are willing to admit. It cannot be argued that there is not...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said on Tuesday he will send state law enforcement officers to the southern border in Texas, a tactical maneuver that will test how far the state will go to help enforce immigration law as the Republican governor prepares to launch a presidential campaign. The governor’s office said hundreds of state troopers, police and national guard soldiers, plus boats and planes, are ready to head to the border as early as Wednesday. The state’s response is being done under the Emergency Management Assistance Compact, a partnership among all states to provide mutual aid. DeSantis’ response comes at...
