A transgender American woman serving in the Ukrainian military has spoken about her unique experience in a tell-all interview over the weekend - weeks after sustaining a permanent injury from a Russian artillery strike. An American journalist and war correspondent, 45-year-old Sarah Ashton-Cirillo described how she's combated the Kremlin for more than a year as an honored guest at Yankee Stadium Saturday - while in the US briefly for her son's graduation. The native New Yorker joined Zelensky's war effort shortly after its outset last year, and has since spent her time sleeping in the trenches of the war-torn nation,...

Because he can.” That’s the answer one has to give to those who ask how Alvin Bragg, a local district attorney in office by the slimmest of margins—and then only because of a huge subsidy from the anti-American billionaire George Soros—can get away with antics like indicting Donald Trump, a former (and, possibly, future) president of the United States, and, now, with charging former Marine Daniel Penny with manslaughter because he (along with at least two others) intervened to stop Jordan Neely from attacking fellow passengers on a New York subway. Because he can. As a friend remarked when digesting...

Dear Jane, I am the proud mom of four kids. Three boys, one girl. I love all of my children equally, but after having two boys, I was over the moon to have a girl and I’ve always loved the time that we’ve been able to spend together as momma and daughter. But this past week, my daughter – who is 17 – told me and my husband that she is transgender. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I didn’t know what to say. How to react. I just sat there in silence as she told us...

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on Sunday that U.S. Border Patrol encounters have dropped by half in the two days since Title 42 expired. Around 6,300 encounters took place on Friday and 4,200 happened Saturday — a marked decrease from the over 10,000 reported before the end of Title 42, Mayorkas said during an interview on CNN. Pressed on why the numbers have fallen, Mayorkas credited a “vitally important message” encouraging people arriving at the border to take legal pathways toward entry, which he said has been expanded by President Joe Biden in “an unprecedented way.” Mayorkas also touted...

The FBI has reportedly raided a Florida condo owned by two Russian businessmen at the Trump Towers on Sunny Beach Isles. The target of the search, according to the Miami Herald, was a unit owned by the shell company MIC-USA LLC, which is controlled by Russian businessmen Oleg Sergeyevich Patsulya and Agunda Konstantinova Makeeva. It is unclear what exactly the FBI and local police may have been searching for in the raid and whether law enforcement officials seized any property or took anyone into custody. In a statement to the Herald, a spokesperson for the FBI's Miami field office only...

A Chicago woman arrested in a series of unprovoked baseball bat attacks on other women was accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and other crimes, authorities said Thursday. Denise Solorzano, 26, also faces multiple counts of aggravated battery in a public place and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, Chicago police said in a statement. In an earlier statement, the police department said five assaults were reported on two days — Sunday and Tuesday — on the city's Northwest side. A bat was used in three of them, the department said. In each of the five incidents, victims...

Aaron Rodgers and his former Green Bay Packers teammate David Bakhtiari called out Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., after a thread on Twitter took a look at some of her "unusual" stock trades. Unusual Whales broke down Feinstein’s trades over the last decade or so and wrote that it helped her net worth allegedly reach $200 million. Feinstein became a senator in 1992 and before that, she served as the mayor of San Francisco. But Bakhtiari and Rodgers were not happy with what they read from the Unusual Whales report. "How are we as a nation just ‘cool’ with actions like...

VIDEOWhat a "coincidence!" On the very same day that Joe Biden had a fantasy as to the greatest threat to this nation, just a few blocks away the Ray Epps Brigade of the Patriot Front was marching through Washington, D.C.. Unfortunately, this wish fulfillment was so lacking in credibility that even the Washington Post and the New York Times failed to cover it due to the over-the-top undercover feds vibes it was radiating.

Kowtowing to the corrupt teachers union is only part of the reason the Democrats oppose the Minisink charter school and other educational choices outside the regular public-school system (“UFT Wins, Harlem Kids Lose,” Editorial, May 11). The burden of the worst public schools falls disproportionately on minorities, especially blacks. Thus, school choice disproportionately benefits minorities, giving them a much better educational option and therefore increasing their chances of getting out of poverty and reducing their dependence on liberal politicians. Democrats cannot allow that. Democrats seek to maintain poor people (disproportionately minorities) in crime-ridden neighborhoods with no jobs and minimal education....

(NEXSTAR) – Social Security recipients shouldn’t expect 2024’s cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) to be as significant as 2023’s, despite warnings that beneficiaries are losing their purchasing power. “The 2024 COLA could be around 3.1%,” Mary Johnson, the Social Security and Medicare policy analyst for the Senior Citizens League, said in a news release issued last week.

(Daily readings from the USCCB)“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it neither sees nor knows him. But you know him, because he remains with you, and will be in you.” John 14:15–17Imagine a spouse or a friend saying to you, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” Such a statement might cause you to react with surprise. Ordinarily, we do not see obedience to another as a...

Support for Joe Biden is plunging deep into the toilet and his handlers have decided to take action. Since he’s losing the confidence of minorities, why not stage an event meant to foment racial hatred? The Great Uniter Biden spoke at Howard University yesterday, looking to stir anger: President Biden was slammed by critics Saturday after denouncing white supremacy as the “most dangerous terrorist threat” to the nation during a graduation address to students at Howard University “Stand up against the poison. White supremacy … is the single most dangerous terrorist threat in our homeland,” Biden declared to a heavy...

Far-right group Patriot Front took to the streets of DC to march towards the US Capitol in the latest appearance of the white nationalist front. Approximately 200 people advanced along the National Mall on Saturday, flanked by police to keep the extremists separated from a small group of counter protestors. According to its website, the white nationalist group claims its 'activism' is intended to assert 'cultural independence' founded in 'our European race'....... A leader of the group previously stated on a podcast in July 2022 that the organization aims to 'make the men who will make the nation'. 'We're creating...

I wish Biden would spend more time trying to negotiate with McCarthy to end the debt crisis rather than stir up race hatred like he did at Howard University graduation. C’mon Joe! White “supremacy” is not the most dangerous terrorist threat. I would actually say that Biden, Yellen and Schumer (throw in Pelosi’s spending splurge as Speaker) are the biggest terrorist threat. They are the 4 horsemen of the US debt apocalypse. Let’s see how Bidenflation (caused by staggering Federal misspending) and years of Yellen’s TLTL (too low too long) monetary policy has caused a massive dislocation in the housing...
