The U.S. is considering a plan to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon once it crosses over the Atlantic Ocean, where it could fall without causing harm to anyone below and potentially be recovered, a senior U.S. official told Fox News. President Biden addressed the balloon briefly Saturday in response to a reporter's question, saying, "we're going to take care of it." This is a developing story and will be updated.

MOSCOW—Close to 200,000 Russian troops have been killed or wounded in the war in Ukraine, according to estimates from U.S. and European officials, a toll that is likely to continue to rise as the Kremlin readies a fresh offensive in the coming weeks. The U.S. military, which keeps rough estimates on Russian casualties in Ukraine, puts the figure for wounded and dead at roughly 180,000, though officials stressed such figures aren’t precise, a U.S. defense official said. The tally matched assessments by Norway’s defense chief Gen. Eirik Kristoffersen, who said last week that the number of Russian soldiers killed or...

"China is a responsible country and has always strictly abided by international law. We do not accept any groundless speculation and hype," Wang Yi, director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China said in a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken late Friday. During the phone conversation, they communicated on how to deal with the incident in a calm and professional manner. Wang said in face of unexpected situations, both sides should maintain focus, communicate in a timely manner, avoid misjudgments, and manage differences. Prior to...

It's been known for a long time now the U.S. government has been spying on it's own citizens. Those in government are monitoring, tracking, videoing, scanning, recording, censoring and watching your every move. No one is safe from this spying. Now the same U.S. government has allowed the Communist Chinese to invade our airspace and go directly over some of our most sensitive military bases, nuclear facilities, not to mention directly over our cities and towns Yet an American citizen can fly a toy drone near a U.S. government facility, and then immediately face arrest, investigation, and imprisonment. I think...

President Biden and his administration knew for nearly a week that a Chinese spy balloon was hovering in U.S. airspace — but kept the incursion secret, fearing it would derail Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s planned meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. Republicans expressed “outrage” over the president’s refusal to act.“Communist China’s surveillance balloon violates international law and threatens our homeland,” Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island) told The Post.“It’s an outrage that the Biden Administration spotted this balloon days ago as it was flying over the Aleutian Islands and did nothing about it,” she said. “The president has...

An oil depot at or near the plant evidently exploded with fire damage spreading to the Borisovsky Bridge Metal Structures Plant. 'At night, a civilian industrial facility in Borisovka was attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,' said regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. He said 'no one was injured, the company's employees were evacuated in time. 'Now everything is being done to ensure that the damage is minimal.' A report from Telegram channel Horizontal Russia said: 'A large fire started at the plant due to shelling in the Belgorod region. 'The shells hit the territory of an industrial plant in the...

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has teamed up with the American Heart Association (AHA) on its latest initiative promoting CPR training. Hamlin announced the partnership on his Instagram on Tuesday, citing how CPR saved his life earlier this month when he collapsed on the field after suffering cardiac arrest. "Excited to be teaming up with @american_heart in a BIG way!" the Bills safety wrote to his 1.8 million followers. According to the American Heart Association and Hamlin, the steps are: go to heart.org/3 and watch a video that teaches people how to administer hands-on CPR, donate to the AHA to...

Senators are trailing the Justice administration’s transfer of the remaining $28 million in federal covid relief dollars to a fund controlled by the Governor’s Office, which then put millions of dollars from that transfer toward construction of Marshall University’s new baseball field. “Isn’t that money laundering?” asked Senator Randy Smith, R-Tucker No, responded Berkeley Bentley, general counsel for the Governor’s Office. Bentley was testifying before the Senate Finance Committee, which wanted to know more about the transfer’s reasoning and validity. He told senators that the state faced a deadline to spend the remaining $28 million from federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief,...

Not only does the buck not stop with Biden, the installed occupant of the White House refuses to admit the buck even started with him. It did! During remarks to the press today, even Brian Deese looked stunned as Joe Biden incredulously claimed he didn’t cause the rampant inflation that is crushing middle class Americans. Oh, he started it alright…. He not only started it, but he also created it. The combination of the January 2021 immediate move to block any domestic energy development, in combination with the April 2021 unneeded explosion of deficit spending triggered both a supply side...

In response to last week’s “Twitter Files” takedown of the Hamilton 68 dashboard, which purportedly tracked Russian influence campaigns on social media, the dashboard’s sponsor issued a response blaming “the media, pundits, and even some lawmakers” for misunderstanding and misrepresenting the data. The congressional record tells a different story, however. “At a bare minimum, the U.S. government needs to have an understanding of what Russia is doing in social media,” Clint Watts, the mastermind behind the Hamilton 68 dashboard, told the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation during hearings on Jan. 17, 2018, regarding “Terrorism and Social Media: Is...

“At least five people have been confirmed dead and five others are missing after a makeshift raft smuggling migrants from Cuba sank off the Florida coast,” reported the Daily Mail last week. “The U.S. Coast rescued nine migrants and recovered one body after the boat capsized Saturday about 50 miles off the shores of Little Torch Key, an island in the Florida Keys. The U.S. Coast Guard's 7th District said that at least 19 people were in the vessel and four drowned immediately after the boat capsized.” Any cursory review of recent news will turn up numerous headlines like the...

Hunter Biden admitted, in a roundabout way through his lawyers, that the infamous laptop featuring a trove of explicit content that surfaced in 2020 was his. On Wednesday, his attorneys demanded that Biden allies in the Justice Department launch investigations of the people who found the computer. Biden’s lawyers sent two 14-page letters to the Delaware attorney general and the Department of Justice this week calling on officials to probe whether the people who gave the laptop — which was abandoned property at a Delaware computer repair shop owned and operated by John Paul Mac Isaac — to the New...

In a recent addition to the “Twitter Files,” Matt Taibbi revealed to the public how Twitter — the preferred social media platform of politicians, academics, and journalists — co-opted the algorithmic blacklist of a bipartisan neoliberal propaganda outfit known as Hamilton 68. Hamilton 68 was a digital dashboard that, as my colleague Emily Jashinsky recently discussed, was used to perpetuate and mainstream the myth of Russian interference in American politics through algorithmic censorship and suppression. But it wasn’t just egghead professors, left-wing activist journalists, and the tragically narcissistic (Adam Schiff) who perpetuated the thoroughly repudiated lie that Russia determined the...

Former Drug Enforcement Agency Special Operations Director Derek Maltz Sr. on Friday outlined the involved of Chinese college students entering the U.S. on student visas in distributing drugs on behalf of various cartels. Speaking on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show, Maltz highlighted the severity of the crisis, lamenting that "kids are dying left and right." "The sad part is I've been tracking this for over 10 years as China and their chemical lab operators had been providing synthetic powerful chemicals to our citizens directly at first, and then they decided to divert the chemical, you know, exports...

Former Arkansas state Sen. Jeremy Hutchinson received a 46-month prison sentence for his role in a bribery and tax fraud scheme, the Department of Justice announced Friday. Hutchinson, 48, of Little Rock, pleaded guilty in 2019 to filing a false tax return in the U.S. District Court of Eastern Arkansas. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit federal program bribery in the U.S. District Court in Western Arkansas, according to a DOJ news release. Sentencing is still pending in the U.S. District Court of Missouri on a plea deal reached in a separate case, according to...
