A regulatory move within Mexico’s agricultural sector has U.S. farmers concerned it will "corn-er" their corn crop production. "Most farmers, my generation and younger, have never even used conventional corn. We're not set up to do it. We don't have the equipment to do it," Hinkel Farms' Elizabeth Hinkel told FOX Business’ Madison Alworth on "Mornings with Maria" Tuesday. "So it would be a huge investment if we had to go back to growing conventional. And on top of that, our yields would be decreased." American farmers are headed to Capitol Hill to voice concerns about Mexico’s proposed ban on...

Since the beginning of the Biden administration, border communities have been ground zero for the worst immigration crisis in U.S. history. Each day across our entire southern border, thousands of migrants willfully break our laws with no end in sight. Hundreds of thousands more have slipped into our country undetected. Nearly 100 terrorism suspects have been stopped by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in 2022. Cartels are more enriched and emboldened than ever, and Americans have never been more vulnerable to deadly fentanyl and criminal actors flowing into our country.Unfortunately, the Biden administration has proven on multiple occasions to...

“Boys are boys from the beginning. Girls are girls right from the start.” No, those aren’t the words from a tweet banned for “hate speech” — though they could be. They’re prophetic lines from none other than Mister Rogers, who put the immutable truths to a tune decades before the trans craze.Resurfaced in a recent TikTok, the clip shows Fred Rogers, host of the classic children’s show “Mister Rogers Neighborhood,” singing his ditty “Everybody’s Fancy,” which goes:Boys are boys from the beginningGirls are girls right from the startEverybody’s fancyEverybody’s fineYour body’s fancy and so is mineGirls grow up to be...

CHICAGO - An appellate court has upheld a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against Illinois’ assault weapons ban, and expanded it to cover the entire state. The TRO was issued by an Effingham County judge after attorney Thomas DeVore filed a lawsuit in state court against the law on behalf of 866 plaintiffs. Tuesday’s ruling actually expands the restraining order statewide. Judges suggested that lawmakers who rushed to pass the legislation earlier this month should have slowed down to explain why police and security guards, and several other categories of people, get to buy the firearms but others do not. "This...

Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen on Wednesday revealed that he recently turned over his cellphones to Manhattan prosecutors who are investigating hush-money payments paid to adult-film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 elections. “Most recently, they asked for my cellphones because they want to be able to extract from it the voice recordings that I had had with Keith Davidson, former attorney to Stormy Daniels before Michael Avenatti, as well as a bunch of emails, text messages and so on,” Cohen told Don Lemon on “CNN’s This Morning.” The phones, which were previously taken by federal investigators in 2018,...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Biden took to the streets of D.C. today to promote a brand new electric car, capable of holding at least seventeen boxes of highly-classified documents."I can get all of these top-secret files to my beach house on a single charge! Not a joke!" said Biden, cruising up Pennsylvania Avenue. "Wait, weren't there eighteen boxes? Eh, who cares. Who wants ice cream??"President Biden drove the car as part of his climate initiative, hoping to encourage everyday Americans to purchase $100,000 electric vehicles. "While no one can afford the electric car President Biden was driving, which happens to...

An illustration depicting the ancient Egyptian process of embalming. (Nikola Nevenov) ********************************************************* An analysis of the residue on ceramics found in an ancient embalming workshop has given us new insights into how ancient Egyptians mummified their dead. Even more astonishingly, a team of scientists has been able to link different substances to the specific parts of the body on which they were used. This discovery is, in part, thanks to the residues themselves, which were studied using biomolecular techniques; but many of the vessels were intact, including not just the names of their contents, but instructions for their use. "We...

I went ballistic when I first saw this. The “NFL is rigged” conversation has been happening for years now, but with how things went down in the Jan. 29 AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals (specifically with the officiating), the talks have ratcheted up. And now, former Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins running back Arian Foster is getting involved, throwing some fuel into the fire with one statement: “The league is scripted.” Speaking on his “Macrodosing” podcast with PFT Commenter, Foster elaborated on an off-air comment alleging that NFL players receive a script. “We were...

The question is, why does it continue unabated? There are lots of reasons. One of the big drivers is the pernicious Chamber of Commerce. Big business in America needs workers. Illegal immigrants swell the worker pool, doing many of those supposed “jobs Americans won’t do.” You know, those in the construction industry, hotels, farming, etc. To the degree that big business can employ illegal immigrants at wages below those which would be required to pay Americans to work, illegal immigration is a winning issue for them. Another is the Catholic Church, which not only solicits funds from parishioners but also...

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake now has a criminal referral against her for tweeting photos of actual voter signatures.Secretary of State Adrian Fontes — a Democrat — wrote in his referral, “The protections afforded by this subsection prohibit posting any information derived from voter registration forms or precinct registers to the internet, and under no circumstance may a person other than the voter or [a] statutorily authorized person reproduce a voter’s signature.”Fontes referred Lake for the class 6 felony — the least severe category, typically with sentences between four months and two years if found guilty — for this...

Against the wishes of Joe Biden, House Republicans passed a bill that would end the public health emergency, opening a can of worms for the healthcare industry and state and local governments. On Monday, Biden announced he was ending the pandemic emergency in May. Unraveling and unpacking the programs, the money, the mandates, and other public health measures that were initiated during the health emergency will take time, the administration says. Lifting the emergency immediately would “create wide-ranging chaos and uncertainty throughout the health care system,” says the White House. The abrupt end to the pandemic emergency would no doubt...

CPD said both officers have served their time and are back on the street. CHICAGO (WLS) -- Damien Stewart admits he has made mistakes in the past, which includes breaking the law, but the 31-year-old man said he never did anything to deserve a beating from two Chicago police officers while in a holding cell at the 4th District almost four years ago. "They struck me. I don't know why they struck me. I didn't say anything, or make any aggressive movements," Stewart said. Stewart said it all started with a traffic stop at the corner of 75th and Stoney...

With Republicans demanding spending cuts in exchange for an increase in the federal debt limit and President Biden refusing to consider negotiating a compromise, House Democrats are proposing legislation that would eliminate any limit on the debt. Rep. Bill Foster (D-Ill) argued that "if there were sufficient popular support for limiting how much the government can borrow voters wouldn't be electing so many Democrats. Rather than periodically raising the limit, I say we simply allow the government to borrow and spend as much as it wants to. The GOP's refusal to go along threatens the full faith and credit of...

Somewhere along the line, someone noticed that in software development, a few people are self-taught, and then suddenly they (erroneously) correlated software development with easy money. The truth is that it isn’t that easy.I’m not going to suggest that the field is overall something super difficult like Physical Chemistry, but it’s also not trivial to learn like my first job at McDonald’s. Though to be honest, getting those cone swirls right was for sure a pride point! I often see questions like, “how can I teach myself to code and have a full-time programmer job in 6 months.” I imagine...

The new ATF pistol brace ruling has been published in the Federal Register starting the 120 day countdown to apply for the ATF tax stamp, surrender the "SBR" to the ATF or destroy the firearm. Anyone who has applied for an ATF tax stamp for an SBR knows this usually takes 6 months to a year for approval. If you apply now, you will be in possession of an SBR without the ATF tax stamp in 120 days. Instant felony. The purpose of this post is to offer another option. Find an FFL licensed to sell NFA firearms. Arrange for the...

Riley Gaines, the Kentucky swimmer who tied with transgender athlete Lia Thomas in the women’s 200-meter freestyle event at the NCAA championships, penned an op-ed for Fox News calling for the country to properly recognize that female sports need protection. Gaines wrote her op-ed in honor of the 37th National Girls and Women in Sports day that will be celebrated on February 1, arguing that the very concept of women’s sports teams faces annihilation from men who wish to compete alongside females. “Males are hurdling themselves forward in national rankings stealing scholarships, titles, and opportunities from women who have worked...
