Circuit Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod wrote the majority opinion for the Fifth Circuit and also opined that the framers of the bump stock ban did not provide “fair warning that possession of a non-mechanical bump stock is a crime.”

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that the “disarray” during the process of choosing a Speaker is a harbinger for how Republicans will run the House. We may risk a default on our national debt....

W hen Andrew Breshears arrived at the Agapé Boarding School in 2018, he was a sandy-haired 12-year-old who weighed less than 100 pounds. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to Elvis, and playing soccer with his friends. “I was sheltered,” Breshears says. But he struggled at home. When he was told he couldn’t live with his mother after her stint in rehab, he threatened to kill himself, and another person from the household. His grandparents sent him to a mental hospital, then to Agapé. At first glance, the facility for “at-risk and unmotivated boys” — a Baptist institution in Stockton, Missouri...

Among the many incendiary claims in Spare, Prince Harry's upcoming memoir, the boast that he killed 25 Taliban while serving as an Army helicopter pilot in Afghanistan will do him the most long-term damage by far. I doubt he will recover from it. Most of the revelations in his book amount to a further public airing of his family's dirty laundry, an endeavour to which he and wife Meghan have devoted their lives since running off in a huff to California. Jaw-dropping as some of them are, their real import serves merely to confirm what most had already concluded about...

Father, into your hands I commend my spirit” (Lk 23:46). These were the final words spoken by the Lord on the cross; his last breath, as it were, which summed up what had been his entire life: a ceaseless self-entrustment into the hands of his Father. His were hands of forgiveness and compassion, healing and mercy, anointing and blessing, which led him also to entrust himself into the hands of his brothers and sisters. The Lord, open to the individuals and their stories that he encountered along the way, allowed himself to be shaped by the Father’s will. He shouldered...

We certainly aren’t experts when it comes to committees, hearings, or J6 but GOSH, you’d think the J6 Committee would’ve wanted to interview this Tayler Hansen guy who claims he was with Ashli Babbit when she was shot and killed. He has footage of the moments before and if this is legit … wow. Hansen gives a fairly eye-opening recount of what happened that day as well and again, we can’t figure out why the committee wouldn’t have wanted to at least talk to this guy. Take a look: Three years ago at 2:44PM, I watched an unarmed woman (Ashli...
