Also too, the bivalent jab turned out to be no more than 30% effective at preventing Covid — and this at the height of BA.5 variant, against which it was targeted. Because Pfizer only tested the effectiveness of their BA.5 bivalent vaccine on a handful of mice, there has been understandable interest in working out whether the shiny new jabs actually do anything in return for inflicting an unknown number of injuries and undesirable side-effects on the Pfizer Pfaithful. Towards this end, a few scientists at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio have conducted a retrospective cohort study of Clinic employees...

The GOP takeover of the House won’t affect U.S. military aid to Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy predicted Wednesday, brushing off concerns that the chamber’s incoming Republican majority could try to trim American financial backing for Ukraine‘s war effort. Speaking alongside President Biden at the White House, Mr. Zelenskyy thanked the U.S. for the more than $21 billion in military aid that America has provided since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last February. Japan on Thursday adopted a new policy promoting greater use of nuclear energy to ensure a stable power supply amid global fuel shortages and to reduce carbon emissions — a major reversal of its phase-out plan since the Fukushima crisis.
