The House and Senate both still hang in the balance today despite the promised 'red tsunami' of Republican support. While results in key swing states like Arizona and Georgia are still pending, many are calling Trump the biggest loser of the night with Republicans swearing him off, and throwing their weight behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis...

Beto OâRourke Raised $80 million to take on Ted Cruz. He famously raised $6 million in the first 24 hours of announcing his presidential run and blew through an estimated $17 million. After wasting nearly $100 million in two failed races, donors lined up to give him another $66 million for the final leg of the trifecta, wasting over $160 million to lose the senate, the presidency and finally the governorâs mansion. Consider the sorts of people who were willing to go on believing in him and writing him million-dollar checks. Quick hit them up with your best Brooklyn Bridge...

After holding office for more than thirty years, Tony DeLuca was always the odds-on favorite to win another term representing Pennsylvaniaâs 30th legislative district. The Republicans didnât even put anyone up to run against him and the Green Party candidate he was facing hadnât gained any sort of traction. There was just one small fly in the ointment for this race, however. Tony DeLuca died last month after a prolonged battle with lymphoma. But his now noncorporeal status clearly didnât impact his popularity in the community. The deceased DeLuca easily cruised to victory yesterday. But at the age of 85,...

A cloud hangs over Republicans. The election did not go as well as they thought. They expected the results nationwide to resemble the results in Florida, where Republicans walloped Democrats. Didnât happen. Florida now seems to be as exceptional politically as it is culturally. Races across the country are much closer than expected. Many have yet to be called. Chances are that the House will flip to Republicans, and Senate control will depend on the outcome of Adam Laxaltâs race in Nevada and a probable December runoff between Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker in Georgia. It may be a month...
