In a win for election integrity advocates, the United States Western District Court of Michigan denied Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s attempt at dismissing Public Interest Legal Foundation’s (PILF) lawsuit pertaining to the failure to remove dead registrants from the state’s voter rolls. The court also dismissed motions to intervene from leftist groups, such as the A. Philip Randolph Institute, the Michigan Alliance for Retired Americans, and Rise, Inc. In 2020, PILF had notified the Secretary of State’s office about dead registrants remaining on Michigan’s voter rolls, but Benson did nothing about it. In November 2021, the nonprofit filed...

Another House Democrat balked when asked whether President Biden should run for a second term in 2024. “I’m so sick of these ‘gotcha’ questions and everything else,” Rep. Debbie Dingell of Michigan shot back Thursday on NBC’s “Meet the Press Now” when asked by host Kristen Welker if she wanted to see the President run again. Pushed by Welker — who put the question to Dingell a second time — the response was lukewarm. “If he wants to run — let’s see what he’s going to do,” Dingell finally said.

MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissman said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that he believed the Department of Justice will prosecute former President Donald Trump. Weissman said, “I do think that one way to look at the obstruction might be simpler, which is simply the statements that were made by the Trump team to the National Archives saying that they returned everything and they’re repeating that statement through counsel to the Department of Justice when we know for a fact that that was the very least inaccurate. And there’s reporting that it was intentionally so – that the president deliberately withheld things.”

California moved Thursday to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars and trucks by 2035, a first-in-the-nation mandate the state’s leaders hope will jolt the automotive industry and truly make electric vehicles mainstream. Other states led by Democrats, including New York and Oregon, are expected to swiftly follow California’s lead in a liberal-state push to fight climate change — moves not unlike past mandates on emissions and car safety. California’s determination to force what would amount to a monumental economic and social change reflects both the state’s long history in shaping the country’s auto market with stringent vehicle standards and...

The Census Bureau just admitted that the 2020 census overcounted the populations of blue states in America, apportioning to them skewed representation in Congress and the electoral college, as well as federal funding. Is this the long and short of it, or is this only the tip of the iceberg for the Left putting its thumb on the scale in the course of arrogating to itself political power?

Americans who fancy themselves net-zero climate advocates might want to take a look at Britain for a guide to the future. Household energy bills were expected to rise 40% this autumn, but on Friday the government regulator announced they’ll leap 80% in a single bound. This boost follows a 54% rise in April and brings the average household’s annual bill to £3,549 ($4,208). The median household income is £31,400, which gives a sense of the growing proportion of each household’s budget that will go toward central heating, cooking and keeping the lights on. For the ruling Tories, this is a...

When you’re an adult and look back on the places that you spent time in as a kid, chances are, they feel remarkably smaller than you remember. But 12 years later, that’s not the case with the San Francisco Art Institute, the gray monolith that now sits alone and empty in Russian Hill. The school, once famous for its maximalist Halloween parties and illustrious faculty, which included the likes of Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange and Mark Rothko, recently made headlines after it graduated its final class — marking the end of a 151-year saga as one of the oldest art...

The report said, “Occupying the number one and number two positions in the world’s largest gas reserves table, respectively – Russia with just under 48 trillion cubic meters (tcm) and Iran with nearly 34 tcm – the two countries are in an ideal position to do this.” Russia’s Gazprom and the...

Hungary’s state audit office has issued a report about the risks of the country’s education system being “too feminine”, saying it could hurt the development of boys and create demographic problems. The report was issued last month but had not caught the public’s attention until a newspaper article was published on Thursday. “The phenomenon called ‘pink education’ has numerous economic and social consequences,” states the report by the state body, which is seen as close to the nationalist prime minister, Viktor Orbán. Google employees are receiving regular notifications from management of Covid-19 infections, causing some to question the company’s return-to-office mandates. The employees, who spoke with CNBC on the condition of anonymity, said since they have been asked to return to offices, infections notifications pop up in their email inboxes regularly. Employees are reacting with frustration and memes. The company began requiring most employees to return to physical offices at least three days a week in April.
