As the Russian onslaught against Ukraine continues, the Chinese state media has become the latest political entity to advocate for U.S. intervention in the conflict, including a push for troops on the ground and the establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukraine. Following a virtual speech by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the U.S. Congress on Wednesday, Hu Xijin of the Chinese Communist Party’s Global Times began pushing for direct U.S. involvement in the conflict, saying the U.S. shouldn’t “just incite Ukrainians to die for American interest.” “Just applause? it’s hypocritical,” said Xijin in a tweet responding to members of...

We often post stories about the dysfunctional island of Manhattan. Years of Democrat control and radical leftist policies have turned the once-proud city into a cesspool of crime and depravity. The people are confused and do not seem to have their priorities aligned with protecting themselves, let alone the city itself. It’s as if they’ve given up on normal life and accepted the defeat of crime, filth, and destitution. Long-time resident and political pundit Jedediah Bila will be leaving the city soon. But while she’s there she’s still engaged with day-to-day life in the Big Apple. Unfortunately, that life has...

The Alaska Republican challenging Sen. Lisa Murkowski took to the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday in Orlando, bringing a pointed message about Murkowski to a national audience that has no love for Alaska’s senior senator. *** Right after she finished speaking, reporters from the New York Times and CNN rushed up to talk to her. She spoke to the Times reporter but did not appear to give CNN an interview, because others were pulling her away for photos. Potential donors said she did well. One person commented that their son and daughter-in-law live in Alaska, and...

A contest fundraiser to name the little eaglet is open until March 25. After the deadline, 35 names will be randomly drawn. The names will then be given to local Big Bear third grade classrooms for a final vote. After that, all submissions will be entered into a random drawing for prizes, including Jackie and Shadow plush toys, a framed painting of the bald eagle couple, an eagle tapestry, and other gifts. Since the chick’s gender is not known, a name that isn’t gender specific would work best, organizers said. Friends of Big Bear Valley has been posting updates on...

This rebuke of Biden’s Syria policy comes as the White House continues to negotiate a return to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran — a deal with a key Assad backer that granted Damascus new funds to wage war against Syrian civilians... “Propped up by Russia and Iran, the Assad regime continues profiting from its crimes against humanity and has diverted millions in aid to fill its own coffers. There is no solution to the crisis in Syria as long as Assad remains,” ... The administration, more than failing to embrace its Caesar sanctions authorities, has also hollowed out the...

Explanation: How far can you see? Everything you can see, and everything you could possibly see, right now, assuming your eyes could detect all types of radiations around you -- is the observable universe. In light, the farthest we can see comes from the cosmic microwave background, a time 13.8 billion years ago when the universe was opaque like thick fog. Some neutrinos and gravitational waves that surround us come from even farther out, but humanity does not yet have the technology to detect them. The featured image illustrates the observable universe on an increasingly compact scale, with the Earth...

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky pleaded with America for more help Wednesday in fending off the brutal Russian invasion of his nation, referencing the attack on Pearl Harbor and 9/11 while telling members of Congress that Ukrainians are experiencing “the same every day right now.” “You are the leader of the nation – your great nation – I wish you to be the leader of the world,” Zelensky said in a direct message to Biden near the end of his 18-minute remarks to lawmakers. “Being the leader of the world means to be the leader of peace.”

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), running for Alabama’s open Senate seat, visited the United States-Mexico border, where he says he witnessed border crossers and illegal aliens being “welcomed” with “freebies” by President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS). During a visit to the Yuma, Arizona, sector of the border, Brooks said he watched as border crossers and illegal aliens streamed into the U.S. “without any inhibition — no fear whatsoever.” “Why? Because they are welcomed, welcomed as soon as you come to the southern border,” Brooks said, noting that the border wall in the region remains unfinished.

The Biden administration is considering removing Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps from a terror blacklist in return for a public commitment from Iran to de-escalation in the region, three Israeli officials and two U.S. sources tell me. Why it matters: An agreement to restore the 2015 nuclear deal is nearly complete, but Iran's demand that President Biden reverse Donald Trump's decision to designate the IRGC as a Foreign Terrorist Organization is a key remaining sticking point.

Asked during a press conference on Wednesday if he stands by his call for Putin to be assassinated, Graham said “yeah, I hope he will be taken out one way or the other,” before claiming that McCain would agree if he were alive to witness Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. “I don't care how they take him out. I don't care if we send him to the Hague and try him. I just want him to go. Yes,...

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) stated that he would be surprised if oil companies weren’t engaging in profiteering on gas prices and Congress needs to “keep an eye on that and try to make sure that the oil companies don’t take advantage of the situation.” Co-host Brianna Keilar asked, “Oil prices, as you know, are falling. Gas prices, they’re not following yet, but they are expected too. And one of your colleagues, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, says that there is profiteering that is happening by oil companies. Do you agree with that?”
