Trump not only successfully deterred Russia from acting against Ukraine, he effectively deterred a lot of bad behavior across the planet. A recent Harvard-Harris poll found that 62 percent of Americans believe that Russia would not have invaded Ukraine if Donald Trump were still in the Oval Office. As former senior intelligence officials under President Trump, we agree with that view. Russia invaded Georgia in 2008 when George W. Bush was president. Russia took Crimea in 2014 when Barack Obama was president. Russia has now invaded Ukraine with Joe Biden as president. However, when Donald Trump was president, Russia did...

...many did not think the EU would play the SWIFT card on Russia. It turns out they were correct...SWIFT is the international payment system. “I think I have a better idea on how to fight inflation. Lower your costs, not your wages.” If the American people needed a reminder of just how disconnected from reality career politicians are, President Joe Biden put a magnifying glass over the permanent Washington political class during his sixty-two-minute State of The Union address Tuesday evening. President Biden’s baseless assertion that American businesses—large and small—are indiscriminately cutting wages is far from reality on main street. In fact, Biden’s assertion was a direct insult to small business owners across the country who are fighting tooth-and-nail to remain open as we...

Michael Holm, owner of Fort Myers Cyclery, said the vehicle appears to be a recumbent bicycle -- a bike in which the rider leans backward -- with an expensive cover. "I would expect in the excess of $20,000," Holm said. Ruede said the bike had a blinking red light, but became difficult to see once it was next to his car. "This is like begging to get hit or run over," he said. Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Ken Watson said bicycles are allowed on U.S. 41, but he would have stopped the rider to discuss the visibility issue.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently told a group of college students participating in an event at the University of South Florida, "You do not have to wear those masks. Please take them off. Honestly, it's not doing anything. We've gotta stop with this COVID theater. So, if you wanna wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous." Another ginned-up cycle of media hyperventilation ensued, as it does. And many of the same pundits who supported state mandates compelling prepubescent kids to strap useless masks over their faces were suddenly aghast at the sight of such egregious harassment. "If Florida is so...

'This is a victory for girls’ sports in Iowa.'. Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a bill Thursday banning biological males from women’s sports. “This is a victory for girls’ sports in Iowa. No amount of talent, training or effort can make up for the natural physical advantages males have over females. It’s simply a reality of human biology,” Reynolds said in a statement Thursday. “Forcing females to compete against males is the opposite of inclusivity and it’s absolutely unfair.” The move makes Iowa the 11th state in the nation to ban biological males from women’s sports. Politicians and bureaucrats from agencies with evidence of capture by Big Pharma should not be making population-wide health recommendations. The first group is subject to the whims of public sentiment, which have no place in individual healthcare decisions. The latter have unknown motives requiring serious investigation by our elected representatives to reform the health bureaucracy and redirect its activities back to the original mission. The insistence of both of these groups that children get vaccinated against COVID-19 is a case in point.New data from the New York State Department of Health shows protection from the Pfizer mRNA vaccine against infection...
