President Biden on Saturday left the White House for lunch with his granddaughters at a nearby restaurant while ignoring shouted questions about the Russia-Ukraine crisis. As the world is gripped by a possible Russian invasion into Ukraine, Biden declined to address the situation after leaving a lunch just blocks from the White House. "Good to see you," Biden said, in response to a shouted question from the press pool on tensions with Russia/Ukraine.

After invoking the “Emergencies Act” in Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave not only the government extreme power of citizens, but now law enforcement are able to use excessive force when disbanding the protests. Recently, officers, fashioned in riot gear and wearing masks, pushed through the front lines of the protests, arresting fellow Canadians. But while there is no denying the violence being shown against the peaceful protesters making up the Freedom Convoy, the threat of being charged, imprisoned, and financially ruined might be nothing more than a scare tactic by the Canadian government. In the video, which is featured...

There’s a mental disorder called “Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy” in which a caregiver, such as a parent, fakes illness in others so they can be treated even when they’re not sick. I’ve heard this term used to reference people like Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates, but on a national and global scale. They seem to want millions or even billions of people to turn to them for care for a disease they manufacture. But that’s not really a fair assessment. Fauci may be a narcissist and Gates may be a sociopath, but neither is in it just for the glory....

........... And what shall we say criminality as such? Legal frames, especially in the United States, are broad enough to encourage not only individual freedom but also certain individual crimes. The culprit can go unpunished or obtain undeserved leniency with the support of thousands of public defenders. When a government starts an earnest fight against terrorism, public opinion immediately accuses it of violating the terrorist's civil rights. There are many such cases. Such a tilt of freedom in the direction of evil has come about gradually, but it was evidently born primarily out of a humanistic and benevolent concept according...

The U.S. military has a lot of work to do to catch up to China, according to a new government report. The Government Accountability Office released a National Security Snapshot of the pacing challenge with China earlier this week that found “China’s growing economic, diplomatic, military, and technological power … pose a significant long-term challenge to the United States.” Areas of concern highlighted in the report include space and undersea operations, cyber, artificial intelligence, and "area-denial," which is described as China’s expansion of its capabilities to “counter third party intervention during a large-scale, theater campaign such as a Taiwan contingency.”...

As several states lift their COVID-19 restrictions, health experts are warning of a new sub-variant of Omicron called BA.2. The subvariant has been spotted in 74 countries and 47 U.S. states. Research suggests BA.2 could spread faster and may cause more severe disease, as well as be resistant to some of the current COVID-19 vaccines.
