Coming to Grips With the Facts About Masks Allegations that “masks work” and “don’t cause harm” have been enforced by governments and corporations around the world for more than 18 months through arrests, firings, censorship, fines, and denial of access to schools, supermarkets, hospitals, streets, and other public spaces. This has made it virtually impossible for many people to live without complying with mask mandates. In recent weeks, however, more medical scholars and media outlets are coming to grips with facts about masks that Just Facts has been documenting for more than a year and painstakingly compiled in a September...

Irate parents expose more CRT madness.. A 5th grade teacher working in the North Penn School District made white elementary school children apologize to black kids for their skin color, according to irate parents. The sensational claim was made during a school board meeting by the mother of a child who attends AM Kulp Elementary School. “I actually pulled my daughter out of AM Kulp because of the 5th grade teacher who lined those students up, from whitest to darkest,” she said. “(The teacher) made them turn around and made the white ones apologize to the black ones – now...

Norwegian online grocer Oda has reportedly seen a drop in sales of carbon-intensive products after introducing sustainability scores to its receipts. As Statista’s Felix Richter reports, each product is given a rating based on its carbon footprint, aiming to raise awareness among customers, who are responding well to the initiative, according Oda’s sustainability director Louise Fuchs. “Our customers told us that they find it close to impossible to know what is climate-friendly. We thought it was an important challenge to solve so we started looking for easy ways to communicate emissions,” she said. Would a similar model be an option...

This week, former award-winning actress and highly decorated blowhard Whoopi Goldberg made a fool of herself. This came as no surprise; Goldberg does that quite regularly on "The View." The good news for Goldberg is that no one notices -- trying to identify which fatuous host takes the cake for most imbecilic comment on any given day is an exercise in multivariate calculus, so Goldberg often tends to meld into the wallpaper of daftness. But on Monday, Goldberg truly stood out. Discussing an obscure Tennessee school board deciding to remove the Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel "Maus" from a Holocaust unit...

When President Trump called Ukraine’s president in the summer of 2020, he asked—without conditions—that Ukraine investigate whether then-Veep Biden used taxpayer money to force the discharge of a Ukrainian prosecutor who was coming close to Burisma Holdings, which had Hunter Biden on the payroll. Democrats called this an illegal quid pro quo and impeached Trump. It now turns out that Biden was lying big time when he claimed he needed to fire a “corrupt” prosecutor. In fact, the Obama State Department strongly supported the prosecutor. Biden was just giving Burisma its money’s worth. In 2016, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General, Viktor Shokin,...

When President Joe Biden met with U.S. governors at the White House on Monday, he was the only one given a glass of water - lest anyone else remove their mask to take a drink. The president was seated more than 10 feet from everyone, including Vice President Kamala Harris and members of his Cabinet. A White House staffer who was wearing a surgical mask when Biden entered the room was quickly handed an N95 version. These are just some of the extraordinary efforts on the part of the White House to keep the president from getting COVID-19, even though...

BEIJING (AP) — Competition at the Beijing Olympics began Wednesday night with four curling stones sliding down sheets of ice in the venue where Michael Phelps won a record eight swimming gold medals at the Summer Olympics 14 years ago. The clanking of granite stones slamming into each other and the shouting and sweeping of the curlers were more pronounced than normal in the mostly empty arena. There were only a few hundred spectators in the 3,759-capacity venue due to COVID-19 protocols.

A South Jersey school district says food deliveries placed by students are resulting in security problems. West Deptford School District's superintendent says students are ordering food through apps like DoorDash and UberEats and drivers are showing up to a side door of the high school. There were 17 incidents on Monday where students needed to come outside to get their food, officials said. "The issue is, it's school security," said Superintendent Greg Cappello. "We run a very secure school. We want to make sure doors that are locked remain locked through the school day so that nobody can get in...

The National Weather Service on Tuesday night upgraded its winter storm watch to a winter storm warning for North and Central Texas. The warning is in effect from 3 p.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday for most of the region, according to the weather service’s Dallas-Fort Worth office. Storm warnings are issued when the weather service highly expects significant weather such as snow, ice, sleet or a combination of those elements. Dangerous wind chills of -5 to 15 degrees are possible Friday through Saturday, the weather service said. Low temperatures will be in the teens, and a warmup is not...

We'll survive the Covid pandemic, but the pandemic of liberal censorship is more worrisome. From the attempt to browbeat the popular Joe Rogan into silence, to a flight attendant demanding removal of a "Let's Go Brandon" mask, the thought police are causing permanent harm. "This is not America anymore," observed passenger Adam Radogna after he was censored on board a Spirit Airlines airplane in Ohio traveling to Florida. He was required by a flight attendant to replace his mask on board because it had the humorous anti-Biden phrase on it along with the initials FJB. No passenger would have been...

Massive 15 point swing in sentiment suggests trucker are not “fringe minority.”. After a massive 15 percentage point swing in the space of just two weeks and coinciding with the trucker revolt, the majority of Canadians now want all COVID rules to end. A poll conducted by the Angus Reid Institute found that 54 per cent of Canadians agree “it’s time to end restrictions,” with the “strongly agree” category of answer rising by 11 points in just a fortnight. The survey also revealed that a majority of people in every area apart from Atlantic Canada “feel the time is now...

President Joe Biden is committing to reduce the cancer death rate by 50% — a new goal for the “moonshot” initiative against the disease that was announced in 2016 when he was vice president. Biden has set a 25-year timeline for achieving that goal, part of his broader effort to end cancer as we know it, according to senior administration officials who previewed Wednesday’s announcement on the condition of anonymity. The issue is deeply personal for Biden: He lost his eldest son, Beau, to brain cancer in 2015. As part of the moonshot, Biden will assemble a “cancer Cabinet” that...

A recent NPR report quotes a Maryland mother who complains that you risk being tarred as "a psychotic, anti-vax right-winger" if you dare to question whether children should be forced to wear face masks in day care and K-12 schools. That attitude is based on the premise that rejecting mask requirements is tantamount to rejecting science. The truth is closer to the opposite. Supporters of school mask mandates assume they are effective at reducing COVID-19 transmission, then desperately search for evidence to validate that conviction. That process bears little resemblance to science. NPR says, "mask proponents ... point to the...

WASHINGTON, Saturday, Feb. 1. A letter has been received in Washington, from Gov. JIM LANE, expressing a determination to return to Washington, and declaring that the expedition from Kansas southward was impossible on the plan published by Gen. HUNTER. On the other hand, a Member of Congress, enjoying Gen. LANE'S confidence, has written to him not to take any such step, but to go ahead, and all would work out right. HAMILTON FISH and Bishop AMES are still in Washington, in consultation with the Government and Mr. ELY in reference to their mission to Richmond. The Commissioners will announce to...
