Does second-to-die insurance create a tax bonanza? Not exactly. “I’m thinking about a second-to-die policy that would pay off after my wife and I are both gone. “Here's some proposals the agent came up with, based on gifting premium dollars to a trust owned by the two boys. I need to work through all the tax wrinkles, but ultimately it’s a series of bets, most importantly that we both die after one premium and the boys stick it to the insurance company for the full death benefit. After that the payoff diminishes in magnitude. “Would love to hear your thoughts...

By | LIKE A push to repeal the death penalty in Utah, once a bedrock of conservative support for capital punishment, has garnered unlikely bipartisan support. Utah Rep. Lowry Snow, a Republican, voted twice against bids to repeal the death penalty in Utah in the past. Now, he’s the chief sponsor of HB 147, which seeks to prohibit the state from seeking the death penalty for aggravated murder committed after May 4, 2022. Instead, the current draft of the bill includes a possible sentence of 45 years-to-life for aggravated murder. He’s partnered with Sharon Wright Weeks, who started as a...

The adoption of cryptocurrency, NFTs, web 3 and the meta-verse is separating young liberals and progressives from the DNC. There is currently a full court press by the professional, lifelong, ruling , big government class to kill crypto. We are now hearing things from Hillary, Bill Maher, Elizabeth Warren and others about crypto being bad for the environment and killing baby seals. The young people reject this press by the DNC to control the monetary supply. This is a very good thing.

However, on table 9 of the ‘Deaths by Vaccination Status’ dataset, the ONS have inadvertently provided enough details on deaths among children and teenagers by vaccination status for us to calculate the mortality rates ourselves, and to put it bluntly, they are horrifying, and make it obvious as to why the ONS chose to exclude children from the mortality rates dataset. - snip - And on table 9, the ONS have provided us with the number of deaths by vaccination status among children and teenagers, and have kindly also provided us with the person-years, meaning we can calculate the mortality...

“From that time Jesus began to preach” (Matthew 4:17). Our Lord heralded the gospel message with certainty. His mission was not to dispute or argue with His opponents but to preach the truth of salvation. He did not merely proclaim certainties, but He did so with the utmost authority (cf. Matt. 7:29). The scribes could not teach with authority because they had mingled so many man-made opinions and interpretations in with biblical truths that any sense of authority for them had long since disappeared. It was thus quite astounding when the people again heard one like Jesus preach with real...
