The other day, in an interview with NBC News, Hillary Clinton went public with a warning --or was it a dog whistle to Democrats and the left? It might be an instance of Hillary’s mouth running ahead of her brain, but don’t count on it. Hillary is a coldly calculating woman --and that might be one of her better qualities. Hillary suggested that if Trump or “someone of his ilk” is elected president in 2024, then American democracy is kaput. Foolishness? Knowing the conceits and delusions that infect her intended audience, her suggestion might not seem ludicrous. Hillary’s side listens...

Beginning in 2022, women’s faces will circulate through the nation’s currency on quarters - something long overdue, according to Rep. Barbara Lee, a California Democrat who has been working on this legislation since 2017. “I wanted to make sure that women would be honored, and their images and names be lifted up on our coins. I mean, it’s outrageous that we haven’t,” Lee said. “Hopefully the public really delves into who these women were, because these women have made such a contribution to our country in so many ways.” Maya Angelou (April 4, 1928 – May 28, 2014) Dr. Sally...

Rep. Madison Cawthorn and his wife are divorcing after less than a year of marriage, with the North Carolina Republican citing his job in Congress as part of the reason for the split. "When my wife Christina and I were engaged, I was not a member of Congress," Cawthorn, 26, said in a statement posted by his spokesman on Wednesday. "I felt called to serve and we both agreed that I should run. Our victory was unprecedented. But overnight, our lives changed," the first-term lawmaker said.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to Democratic lawmakers on Monday detailing “a full program of events” to remember the January 6 riot in the Capitol. What happened that day isn’t really in dispute. A couple of hundred people breached the Capitol and behaved like idiots. But if what occurred that day was an “insurrection,” it will surely go down in history as the most comical and futile attempt to overthrow a government in history — more ludicrous than the Beer Hall Putsch in 1923. This begs the question: Why do the Democrats feel they have to portray the...

And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant. But he said, As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused. And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules’ burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer...

President Biden said he plans to run for reelection in 2024, assuming he's still in good health. “Yes,” he said when asked if he plans to run for reelection during an interview ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir that aired on Wednesday. “But look, I’m a great respecter of fate. Fate has intervened in my life many, many times. If I’m in the health I’m in now, if I’m in good health, then in fact, I would run again,” he added.

Appearing on Wednesday morning's New Day, CNN political commentator Cupp said that the prospect of Donald Trump holding a press conference on January 6 at Mar-a-Lago makes her "physically ill, nauseous, and afraid."Responding to co-host John Berman's question as to whether congressional Republicans would continue to support Trump, Cupp said: "I have long given up on the sort of the pivot that Republicans will see Jesus, and understand just how dangerous and awful these years of rhetoric and also policy have been...I have long since lost the idea that they'll find religion."Get the rest of the story and view the...

As President Biden addressed Americans Tuesday about his administration’s response to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases, many social media users raised questions about the president’s own health due to his persistent coughing throughout his remarks. Biden’s address — in which he announced that the federal government will ship 500 million at-home rapid tests for COVID-19 starting next month, set up federally run testing sites in New York and other hot-spot areas and mobilize 1,000 military medical personnel to deploy to overwhelmed hospitals as needed — came as the Omicron variant of the coronavirus rapidly spreads across the US ahead...

The United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack wrote Wednesday to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) asking him to testify about phone calls with then-president Donald Trump — after rejecting him as a member of the committee. In a letter, the committee says that it believes Jordan spoke with Trump on January 6, and wants him to describe those calls, as well as any meetings he had with Trump and others to discuss strategies for “overturning” the January 6 election results:

CHANDLERVILLE — It was an encounter along Illinois 78 near Chandlerville that lasted just seconds. But it left a lasting impression on a driver going from Cass County to Tazewell County that night. "When it hit the shoulder, it looked back at me," he said. "I said to myself out loud, '(expletive)ing Bigfoot!'." Garver was driving the stretch of road about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 29, heading north, about 85 miles north of Alton. "I saw a large animal jump into the road about 40 yards ahead. When it hit the road, I could see very large legs spread wide in...

Want power and influence? The quickest path to both in today’s absurd society is to be a victim, and hate crimes are the currency of victimhood. In such an environment, it is not surprising that many hate crimes would be faked. Despite the fact that this is a recurring phenomenon, however, every hate crime claim is taken at face value in the establishment media and blasted far and wide; when many are found to be fake, the lie has once again gone twice around the world before the truth has finished putting on its shoes. All this played out yet...

Democrats’ and Republicans’ prosecutorial styles are as different as night and day. Democrats announce their (plainly political) intentions ahead of time — “We will impeach Donald Trump” or “We will disqualify Brett Kavanaugh” or “I will indict Donald Trump” — then convene massive investigative bodies (on the taxpayers’ dime) of partisan lawyers and politicians to search for a prosecutable crime. The investigation is milked for everything it’s worth, featuring weaponized DOJ no-knock midnight raids, leaks a-plenty, and media accomplices to publicize every insinuation, humiliation, and accusation. Even if no real crime is ever found in the end (and it seldom...

Given the number of stories we’ve already covered here about people who have been arrested for defrauding the various COVID relief programs currently in place, one question has always remained. The fraudsters we reported on are only the ones that managed to get caught. But how many more are out there and how much of the taxpayers’ money have they managed to steal? Now the Secret Service is chiming in with at least a partial answer to that mystery. They’ve been investigating reports of fraud themselves and compiling that information with reports from the Labor Department and Small Business Administration....

Cold-stricken Europe is drawing a flotilla of U.S. liquefied natural gas cargoes amid an energy crisis that has sent gas prices to record levels. Facing a winter shortage and little relief from the continent’s main supplier Russia, natural gas in Northwest Europe is trading for about $57.54 per million British thermal units, up almost a third from a week earlier. That’s roughly $24 higher than Asian prices and more than 14 times higher than gas being sold on U.S. benchmark Henry Hub.
