On this date in 1730, Prussia’s greatest king watched his boyhood lover put to death at his father’s order. Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. Most of those ways were explored at some point by a Hohenzollern. The 18-year-old prince Frederick had a thoroughly frosty relationship with the old man. Surly Frederick William I — “the soldier king” — didn’t have much use for his sensitive, music-loving son. An “effeminate fool,” dad thought the boy, and did not scruple to beat him publicly as he forcibly molded the unwilling heir into a...

I can't post Mercola's article on FR due to some copyright infringement, but the article this video was found imbedded in stated the following: Malone predicts that as the shots’ effectiveness wanes, we’re going to see increasing cases of vaccinated people still getting COVID-19 and being hospitalized and dying as a result. He puts a new peak at around January or February 2022. If anyone wants the URL to the article, Freepmail me. If you want to send me your email address, I'll send it to you that way as well.

Nursing Students With Religious Objections To Vaccine Mandate Victorious In Federal Court Against MCCCD: A federal judge in Phoenix issued a preliminary injunction Friday against the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) after finding that two nursing students deserve to graduate this year even if they need an accommodation due to their religious objection to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. “Defendant shall make available to Plaintiffs a suitable accommodation that will allow Plaintiffs to satisfy the clinical components of their coursework and complete their academic programs as scheduled in December 2021,” U.S. District Judge Steven P. Logan wrote in his order...

President Biden and House Democrats celebrated overnight after the passage of the bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, which ended weeks of deadlock amid infighting between the party's moderates and progressives. "Tonight, we took a monumental step forward as a nation," Biden said in a statement issued by the White House early Saturday.

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to attend a fundraiser next week for Arizona Republican Blake Masters, marking his first foray into the state’s contentious GOP Senate primary. The fundraiser, according to an invitation obtained by POLITICO, is being held Wednesday night at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, a popular venue for candidates seeking to build goodwill with the former president. While Trump this fall endorsed candidates for Arizona governor and secretary of state, he has so far publicly stayed out of the Senate race. “From time to time, the president attends candidate events at his properties prior to...

Oh, you're a woke-poke employer eh? You think hiding behind OSHA -- or the threat to issue a mandate by the government -- in some way prevents you from being liable for injuries and/or deaths related to the vaccines?

Some Texas rock ’n’ roll legends known for being beer drinkers and hell raisers have partnered with a local distillery to release a boozy new commodity that’s really got some legs. Waco-based Balcones Distilling announced in early November that it is unveiling a new one-of-a-kind whiskey with collaborators and music icons ZZ Top. Dubbed Tres Hombres, in honor of the band’s first top 10 album, from 1973, the joint effort stems from a shared and prized Texas heritage and, of course, a fondness for the fiery spirit. “ZZ Top’s love of Texas runs deep, and we can’t think of a...

WASHINGTON, Tuesday, Nov. 5. The news from the fleet and the hopeful position of affairs about Gen. ROSECRANS' command have excited a general rejoicing in the city, and all are anxiously waiting to hear of the success of both. Gen. MCCLELLAN is now compelled, in consequence of his enlarged command, to remain more in the city. He has not crossed the river since the departure of Gen. SCOTT, but he is constantly engaged in attending to his duties here. Major-Gen. HALLOCK arrived in the city this morning, and is now stopping at Willard's. He reported himself early to Gen. MCCLELLAN,...

This is your annual reminder to turn your clocks back tonight - although an hour seems somehow grossly inadequate. While some would have it turn back 20, 30…50 years, I’d settle for pre-COVID days. Ode to the COVID yearsBack before it seemed so dark so much of the time; before the Great Pretenders, Joe and the Ho, began their…whatever we’re calling it these days. But shoot! You do have to give them credit for knowing how to make hay while the sun shines, as they say. Just like mushy-headed Joey and addle-brained Pelosi told us they would, they herded enough...

In a 2015 study published in Sleep Medicine, researchers compared the rate of strokes during the week after daylight saving to the rate 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after. They found the rate was 8% higher the first 2 days after the shift, and people with cancer were 25% more likely to have a stroke than during other times of year. People over 65 were 20% more likely. A 2019 report found a higher risk of heart attack after both time changes, but particularly during daylight saving. Interruptions to circadian rhythm can also impair focus and judgment. A 2020...

White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Friday that it is "misinformation" to use the term "vaccine mandate" when referring to the Biden administration's "vaccine requirement" for private companies, which states that employers with at least 100 employees must require their workers to get vaccinated or undergo weekly coronavirus testing. The policy, along with two other Biden vaccine mandates that will impact federal contractors and about 17 million health care workers, is scheduled to take effect Jan. 4. Certain medical and religious exemptions will be granted. There is a Dec. 8 compliance deadline for workers employed directly by the...

Another round of the United Nations’ (UN) Climate Change Conferences are currently underway in Glasgow, Scotland. Informally known as COP26, the annual conferences pull together world leaders under the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change. These annual conferences can be rather far reaching, with the 2015 Paris Climate Accords (or Paris Agreement) being negotiated during COP21. It’s another round of hypocrisy as world leaders fly in on private jets and chartered aircraft, only to be greeted by a swarm of fossil fuel-burning automobiles in large motorcades – all to assist the leaders in their travels to discuss climate change mitigation...

Op-Ed: Fostering Fairness in Pennsylvania’s Election Operations Posted on Nov 04, 2021 An Op-Ed by Senator Lisa Baker (R-20) and Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-28) “Elections shall be free and equal.” That’s what Article I, Section 5 of the Pennsylvania Constitution declares. That bedrock of democracy was obviously ignored with the recent discovery that millions of private dollars were directed to only a few of the Commonwealth’s counties for the stated purpose of helping to fund 2020 election operations. A hearing held by the Senate Special Committee on Election Integrity earlier this year initially brought to light that, in addition to...

Newsmax, the conservative news outlet, said it plans to implement a coronavirus vaccine requirement for its employees. According to Mediaite, which obtained a copy of an email sent to employees, Newsmax told personnel they have to be fully vaccinated by Jan. 4 or subject themselves to weekly testing. The email noted that the company is implementing the mandate due to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) rules, the outlet reported. The Biden administration published the mandate on Thursday, setting up the January vaccination deadline. The mandate applies to companies with at least 100 employees. “To ensure that we are in...
