Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to attend a fundraiser next week for Arizona Republican Blake Masters, marking his first foray into the state’s contentious GOP Senate primary.
The fundraiser, according to an invitation obtained by POLITICO, is being held Wednesday night at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, a popular venue for candidates seeking to build goodwill with the former president. While Trump this fall endorsed candidates for Arizona governor and secretary of state, he has so far publicly stayed out of the Senate race.
“From time to time, the president attends candidate events at his properties prior to an endorsement in the race,” said a person familiar with Trump’s thinking on the matter.

Do you suppose that if Obama campaigned for a Dem that Yahoo News would say that he “muscled in” on the campaign? I didn’t think so.
Can you imagine this headline?
Obama muscles into Virgina Governor’s race
This could do it. A JD Vancer. Trump can help bridge the gap between the MAGA and libertarians. McMaster can be another unknown Youngkin-type. Add Biden and CRT you’ve got the perfect storm. McMasters the one. Trump confirmed it.
Because edtablishment republicans have done so well stelingbtge presidential election for tge democrats from tge people who voted for trump.
The media doesn’t like tge US and doesnt like us voting for president. They think it’s up to them. Conservatives better start getting used to expecting them to talk down to whomever the conservatives want as president and stop being so sensitive. They’re sgill got people thinking this is about Trump. It never was. It might be about Trumps willingness to out their cheating.
Anyone who thinks that tge media won turn on Ron Disantis just because they’re nice to him while he is running little Ole Florida is as stupid as the neighbor ladies who say ooh I like that Ron DeSantis.
Come on.
I mean c’mon man.
People still think Dems and their media will allow a conservative make this country great again if he’s nice.
Stop. After a rout like last Tuesday conservatives would go back to the drawing board. They expect leftists to do the same. No leftists move in for worse tactics. They’re wounded. It will get worse.
I don’t know Arizona politics very well but what’s wrong with Brnovich?
Do they ever describe Soros or Zuckerberg as muscling in?
Because he was the party nominee. I don't remember Obama taking a stand on a candidate in the primary.
Desantis liked by the Florida media? Just this am found two desantis stories. First desantis said some illegal who murdered a local here was ferried by the Brandon admin on a plane at night. The local AP did all they could to show he did not have the info to back it up albeit the gov refuses any info about the illegal. The other was a story about fl passing 60k deaths from CCP virus. Desantis pointed to low case numbers so they write the number was 9% of all CCP deaths but for has 8% of us population. They keep up an under mining campaign against him.
Arizona GOP Potential Candidate Goes To Mar Lago to plead for Trump’s Support
Perhaps you’ve forgotton this. https://www.reddit.com/r/VoteDEM/comments/izj61r/barack_obama_endorses_warnock_in_gaspecial_primary/
He’s been referred to as a never Trumper and hasn’t done much with regard to the 2020 election.
The rest is history...
He's giving the impression that he has essentially been promised the Senate seat as long as he makes 2020 election fraud issues disappear, first.
“Do you suppose that if Obama campaigned for a Dem that Yahoo News would say that he “muscled in” on the campaign? I didn’t think so.”
Nope
Here’s the thing: people I know (and you know some too) - they suppose that not Obama but the conservative or Republican candidate going in to stop the Republican corruption in AZ - who are preventing the exposure of the AZ 2020 steal- if that Republican were not Donald Trump but anyone else tge media would be kind to him. That the election thief’s would be nice and turn themselves in. That tge AZ state republicans woul allow the theft for the democrat president to be investigated.
They believe, these weak people who vote conservative, they believe that to fight infested corruption you can do so by being ‘nice’, and above all virtues one must be polite that way the media and a corrupt politicians will stop being corrupt
They have no concept that people must get over the fact that there are two systems and that tge one they vote for will get slammed by tge press no matter what
They have no memory that once McCain ran for president tge media slammed him like he was working for tge enemy. McCain threw that election snd tge media then we’re nice to him again. Tge media defended him against trump when trump defended himself against McCain turning on him.
People don’t picture any of this. The media tide turning on what ever Ref candidate moving closer to tge White House, Trump or no Trump
No rebublican candidate has ever fought Now tge corruption is deep and wide— because republicans don’t fight. Yet people still want a gentleman in there. Even though everyone hates bush not just democrats.
No the media would not turn on Obama
Tge media would turn on any Republican trying to fix political corruption. Trump is fighting for voters’ right to elect the president. Durham is starting to get people in the phony 2016 anti Trump corruption it is deep. Tge media will turn on anyone fighting this.
Tuesday was bad for them. Buckle up.
All things being equal ..I bet obama had a glass jaw.
One punch and he would go down.
“ Desantis liked by the Florida media”
Read the title of the article.
Why would you change the issue. It’s Saturday. I have a lot to do. Don’t waste my or anyone’s time like this please
And the list of house budget traitors.
“ Trump came to Florida a few years ago and backed a relative unknown - a man named DeSantis...
The rest is history... ”
The rest is Florida history.
I brought up De Santiago. People are talking about DeSantis now. I mean people that I see around. Theses people say they like what he is doing and would like to see him run
My response to the jaw dropping conservative voting suburban women, who then ignore me, is - ok. Nice. The question is not what a governor is doing in a state but what is he or she going to do when he steps beyond that state into the presidential realm. When the Dems, who don’t want home to get any ideas of expanding out of his state, and their media and their agencies attack him from all sides. When his best lieutenants are threatened with jail, put in jail, or their lieutenants give up, give in, quit, join the other side, when their families are attacked.
Doh. Nothing. These people think that to eradicate the corruption that the fighter has to be nice, he has to never have been divorced nor have ever done anything less than virtuous going back to the day he was born.
People don’t imagine what it was like when the media hated McCain when he ran. They hated Bush. Both of them. The media gmhated Romney. All of them eventually jquit conservative policies, joined the democrats as RINOs before the media loved them as their bast attackers against the conservative voters.
These DeSantis lovers are on the right track of course but they don’t take one step and imagine the pressure and question how he will put up with the pressure
That’s because they’ve allowed the media to brainwash them into believing the media would love any conservative candidate if he didn’t have two divorces or if he did not tweet
The stupidity is the thing. Think. How will DeSantis or anyone put up with the pressure. Get past the question of will there be any pressure.
“Anyone who thinks that the media won’t turn on Ron Desantis just because they’re nice to him while he is running little Ole Florida is as stupid as the neighbor ladies who say ooh I like that Ron DeSantis.”
Very, very, true. They even turned on McCain, once he ran for national office. People supporting DeSantis now because he looks ‘clean’, at least compared to Trump, have NO CLUE as to what they’ll find out (or make up) about him.
Given that, I suspect many here wanting DeSantis would wind up wishing we had Trump, as the media and Democrats are pretty much out of attack lines against Trump.
