President Biden spent Labor Day at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, as his approval ratings tank due to rising COVID-19 cases, record-smashing illegal immigration, economic concerns, and the chaotic US pullout from Afghanistan. It’s Biden’s 19th trip to his residences in Delaware since taking office and he marked the federal holiday with an unscheduled trip to bring lunch from regional-chain favorite Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop to a local union hall. “Come on, let’s get something to eat,” Biden said as he handed out sandwiches. Americans accused him of hypocrisy as he is forcing million of children and Americans to comply with...

On Oct. 21, 1984, President Ronald Reagan was asked to give a summation as to why he should be re-elected at the end of his debate with Democratic challenger Walter Mondale. His meandering, unfocused response kicked off speculation that he was suffering from cognitive decline that only intensified in his second term. Here is part of it: “Several years ago, I was given an assignment to write a letter. It was to go into a time capsule and would be read in 100 years when that time capsule was opened. “I remember driving down the California coast one day. My...

Concerned that "too may people are not doing as they are told," the Victoria state government in Southern Australia is requiring that everyone download a smart phone app that combines facial recognition and geolocation and use this app to respond to government inquiries regarding their whereabouts. The protocol will be that after receiving a text from the government, the targeted individual will need to respond within 15 minutes with a photograph that proves their identity and location. If the individual fails to respond or the photograph does not clearly prove they are where they are "supposed to be" police will...

The preprint came out in July, from scientists and physicians at the University of Bristol, one of Britain’s top universities. Naturally, it has received almost no attention, even after they presented it in August at the European Society of Cardiology Congress. Research that raises doubts about the safety of the Covid vaccines - even indirectly - rarely gets traction. _____________________________________________________________________________ The preprint runs 26 pages and includes 56 footnotes. I am no expert on the structure and function of heart cells, but as far as I can tell it appears meticulously documented. And it paints a troubling picture: specialized blood...

Jason Miller, a former adviser of President Donald Trump, was detained by authorities in Brazil as part of an investigation of “anti-democratic acts” in the South American country, according to local reports. Miller, founder of the conservative social media site Gettr, was reportedly held back by Federal Police on Tuesday morning as he was about to board a private plane for a flight back to the US at Brasília Airport. The former Trump adviser was in Brazil to participate in the country’s Conservative Political Action Conference that ran from Sept. 3 to 4. While in the country, Miller reportedly met...

President Joe Biden and his team are planning another coronavirus speech on Thursday, to detail a “six-pronged strategy” to fight the ongoing pandemic, the White House announced Tuesday. The president will deliver his speech after polling showed his support for his handling the pandemic has fallen 12 points since April.

The American Civil Liberties Union — financed with tens of millions of dollars from leftist billionaire George Soros — justified Orwellian vaccine mandates being forced on Americans by redefining the meaning of “civil liberties” to mean the lack of liberty. ACLU National Legal Director David Cole and ACLU Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief Director Daniel Mach penned an asinine New York Times op-ed headlined: “Want to Enhance Civil Liberties? Embrace Vaccine Mandates.” The headline has since been stealth-edited. The piece tried to gaslight readers by claiming that “we see no civil liberties problem with requiring Covid-19 vaccines in...

If you've been following our discussions on inflation over recent months, you'll know that the cold, hard evidence of financial reality indicates that our inflation rate is close to out of control. The official rate of inflation bears about as much resemblance to the actual, on-the-street reality as I do to Mata Hari. Some months ago, I suggested: "To know the true rate of consumer inflation in the USA, take the official rate declared by the government and multiply it by 3½. The result will be much closer to reality." We can argue about the multiplication factor until the cows...

KABUL—Nancy Pelosi landed at the airport in Kabul today on a mission to reach out to stranded Americans there. She's not on a rescue mission or there to provide any relief, though, and is instead lecturing them on how bad January 6 was. "We have to educate these people on how bad that insurrection was," she told reporters before flying out. "They don't have access to as much information, news, or internet out there, so it's possible they haven't heard about January 6 and what a dark day that was for our country." "January 6 was literally the worst disaster...

The nation’s top infectious disease expert, Anthony Fauci, condemned college football games that were packed with fans not wearing masks. “I don’t think it’s smart,” Fauci said during a CNN interview after he was shown pictures of college football stadiums with maskless fans. “Outdoors is always better than indoors, but even when you have such a congregate setting of people close together,” Fauci said. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that fully vaccinated individuals wear masks outside if they are in a crowded space where they are unable to practice social distancing.

The organizer of a private mission to rescue an American mom, Mariam, and her three children from Afghanistan says the US State Department is now trying to insert itself into the story of her evacuation, despite playing little to no role for much of the rescue effort. Senior State Department officials on Monday announced that the “U.S. has facilitated the safe departure of four US citizens by overland route from Afghanistan. Embassy staff was present upon their arrival.” But those actually involved in the dangerous rescue operation say the State Department deserves little to no credit for Mariam’s escape from...

Yesterday 150,000 people took to the streets of Amsterdam to protest the government’s proposed policy of requiring vaccination as a condition to entry for businesses such as bars and restaurants. This approach mirrors the hard line already taken in France which has seen widespread unrest as a consequence. But if the media was your main source for information, then either the Amsterdam protest did not happen or the numbers were dramatically downplayed. A colleague who attended the protest said that when he got home he turned on the main news bulletin to see how the media would spin the events...

President Biden on Tuesday seemed to appropriate a line from the musical “Annie” as he faces bleak prospects for his $3.5 trillion bill to raise taxes and create new social programs. “The sun’s gonna come out tomorrow,” Biden said when asked on the White House lawn — on his way to visit storm-flooded New York City and New Jersey — how he would get fellow Democrats to agree to the bill. The 1977 Broadway hit featured the showstopper “Tomorrow” with the title character, Little Orphan Annie, reflecting optimistically on her life despite Great Depression conditions in New York City. Biden...

The Georgia Bulldogs football team is more than 90% vaccinated against COVID-19 and yet they’re still dealing with the very harsh reality of positive tests from players and staff members that are fully vaccinated against the virus. On Saturday night, No. 5 Georgia played its opening game of the 2021 regular season in Charlotte against No. 3 Clemson. Georgia’s defense thoroughly dominated Clemson’s offensive line, sacking quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei seven times and held Clemson’s offense to just 180 total yards. It was a massive victory for the Bulldogs, but it was different news on Monday that grabbed everyone’s attention. The...

Google algorithms are automatically selecting videos from news channels to be censored from Australian viewers that it deems offensive, inaccurate or dangerous, a media diversity inquiry has heard. But the tech giant has defended the move, saying its parameters were set by global “trust and safety teams” based on the best evolving advice from governments, health authorities and community standards. The admission came during an inquiry by the Senate Environment and Communications References Committee into media diversity chaired by Senator Sarah Hanson-Young and a one-week YouTube ban on Sky News and the removal of 23 clips last year related to...

The U.S. government’s recent reset of its position to consider declassifying many FBI secrets about 9/11 is being strongly resisted in court by Saudi Arabia.Lawyers for thousands of 9/11 family members who are suing Saudi Arabia in federal court in New York, citing the “extraordinary circumstances” arising from the government’s about-face, asked the court late last month for an extension of a Sept. 15 deadline to submit reports from experts who have reviewed the evidence.“It is imperative that plaintiffs’ experts be afforded an opportunity to review this additional evidence before serving their reports,” wrote members of the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committees...
