Is Kamala Harris jumping ship?Sure looks like it, now that Congress is talking up the 25th Amendment to remove doddering Joe Biden from office for incapacitation amid the biggest foreign policy catastrophe since the Saigon embassy rooftop evacuation of 1975.Suddenly, Kamala doesn't seem to want to be anywhere near old Joe. First, there have been reports of screamings behind the scenes, according to commentator Jack Posobiec, who seems to have someone on the inside at the White House giving him the lowdown.Chaos in the WH, in-fighting, fingers pointed everywhere, knives out. Like Game of Thrones meets Veep but written by...

Over the past week, as Taliban fighters shattered the brittle façade of Afghanistan’s armed forces, many commentators noted the unnerving similarity to 1975, when television viewers shuddered at images of frantic embassy personnel and their South Vietnamese allies climbing a ladder leading from the roof of the American embassy in Saigon to awaiting helicopters, while in the background, the steady rumble of enemy tanks grew heavier. It was an undignified end to a long and costly war, and it was President Gerald Ford’s poor luck that it happened on his watch. Commenting on the almost simultaneous fall of Cambodia and...

It was the most contemptible speech by a U.S. president in modern times — a speech that shames America and leaves its global reputation in the dirt. And given that, until last January, the White House was occupied for four years by a certain Donald J. Trump, there couldn’t be a more damning criticism of President Joe Biden. Much of his address to the U.S. on Monday was Orwellian. In his classic novel 1984, set in a totalitarian dystopia, George Orwell created a Ministry of Peace which waged war, a Ministry of Truth which peddled lies, a Ministry of Love...

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon’s governor said Friday she will send up to 1,500 National Guard troops to hospitals around the state to assist healthcare workers who are being pushed to the brink by a surge of COVID-19 cases driven by the Delta variant.Gov. Kate Brown, a Democrat, said the first group of 500 Guard members will be deployed next Friday to serve as material and equipment runners in the most stricken hospitals and to help with COVID-19 testing, among other things. Troops will be sent to 20 hospitals around Oregon. There are 733 people hospitalized with the virus in Oregon...

Editor's Note: This piece was authored by Justin Begley. With renewed mask mandates and guidelines in place, our policymakers are showing Americans their abandonment of reason. In fact, we are currently living in an age where reason is no longer a virtue, but a vice. In our culture of confusion, elected policymakers, influenced by unelected government bureaucrats, have abandoned their duty to institute policies that actually help Americans, choosing instead to make policy performatively — that is, to impress (or appease) a small minority. They make policy, not on the basis of reason and scientific evidence, but on the basis of...

Joe Biden’s speech on Monday clearly didn’t solve any of his problems — not in Kabul and not in Washington DC. Unmoved by Biden’s finger-pointing, even his own party’s leadership wants some answers for the debacle of Biden’s Afghanistan bug-out. Late yesterday, Senate Democrat Bob Menendez issued a “blister[ing]” condemnation of the catastrophe and promised a full-scale investigation into how it came about: Senator Bob Menendez, Democrat of New Jersey and the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, on Tuesday blistered President Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan and pledged to investigate the administration’s “policy execution and intelligence failures.” In a scathing...

Are America's best days yet ahead? Well, millions of Americans in both parties would believe to optimistically think and perceive so (Jer.7:4-7; 17:9-10, Prov. 16:25; Matt. 7:13-14, Luke 12:16-21; 2 Cor. 4:2-4; Eph. 2:1-2). Two different American political parties, world views, and utopian visions with one common denominator, which seeks to exclude this world's ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator from our national square. One party; would seek the total eradication of the Almighty and His divinely established moral absolutes (Psalm 14; Rom. 1:18-32; 3); while the other party; loves to - throw His Name around - while rejecting His ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Character...

We are entering day five of a crisis where thousands of American civilians are trapped in Afghanistan, and the president of the United States was … on vacation, is still nowhere to be found, is not talking to the American public, is totally incommunicado, is not even releasing statements or speaking to other world leaders. This is not normal. We have thousands of American civilians — civilians— stuck in a country overrun by jihadists who hate us, the U.S. government has already admitted it has no idea when it can get them out, has already admitted it cannot protect them...

More Americans blame former President George W. Bush for America's failure in Afghanistan than any other president that succeeded him, according to a new Insider poll. Around four-in-10 respondents said Bush is most responsible for the war's outcome — the Taliban regained power despite the US's nearly 20-years of involvement there — ranking him ahead of former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump as well as current commander-in-chief Joe Biden. Insider surveyed 1,105 respondents from August 16-17 through SurveyMonkey Audience. Respondents were asked to rank nine entities in order of how responsible each were for the outcome of the War...

The annual threat assessment that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released this April did not present an optimistic vision for the future of Afghanistan. "The Taliban is likely to make gains on the battlefield, and the Afghan Government will struggle to hold the Taliban at bay if the coalition withdraws support," the assessment said. "Kabul continues to face setbacks on the battlefield," it said, "and the Taliban is confident it can achieve military victory." Just five days after the ODNI published this assessment, President Joe Biden addressed the nation on his plans for Afghanistan. "I have concluded...

Biotech company Moderna, which developed one of the two most effective COVID-19 vaccines last year, plans to begin human trials soon for a new AIDS vaccine, according to multiple news sources. According to information posted last week to the National Institute of Health’s clinical trial database, Moderna is looking for 56 HIV-negative people, ages 18-50, to participate in the trials set to begin this week (Thursday, Aug. 19) and conclude in the spring of 2023. Moderna’s AIDS vaccines passed through Phase 1 testing for safety, involving just a few human volunteers, earlier this year. Phase II will test the vaccine’s...

resident Joe Biden was right in his speech to the nation about our withdrawal from Afghanistan, that a long legacy of American involvement there preceded him. But across the board, in domestic as well as foreign policy, any new president inherits realities that precede him. The issue confronting every president is what principles and policies will he put in place to deal with these existing realities that will define his administration. Most clear now is that America's withdrawal from Afghanistan is surrounded by a perception of confusion, weakness and humiliation. For anyone who believes that our nation should be a...

VIDEOSecretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and "Woke" General Mark Milley gave lame assurances in June that they were prepared to evacuate people from Afghanistan. In the case of Austin his "assurance" came in the form of basically placing responsibility on the State Department while the Woke General stated that the military would be able to handle any order given by the President. Was Milley referring to Sleepy Joe Biden because that makes the "assurance" sound even more hollow. Basically, Austin and Milley, despite being given a heads up in June completely FAILED in their mission. Therefore they must RESIGN immediately...
